Dan heard Bob yell CUT and then loosened up a bit, until Katie dropped her next line. His eyes grew wide again and then she kissed him. This time, he didn't close his eyes. This kiss was much deeper than the first one, and it was taking him by completely surprise.

Right at that moment, Dan heard Bob yell CUT again and Katie backed off. Dan stood for a second, trying to figure out what had just happened. He slowly turned to Bob and asked, "Again?"

Dan sighed, he didn't know if he could jump right back into the scene. He walked off the set and toward the back of the building. He leaned against the wall and took a look at his hand. It was starting to tighten up a bit, having held pillows and caught Katie. He hoped this scene would be over soon and he could wrap it up again. Although, he wasn't quite sure if he was going to be needed for the next scene or not. Bob had a way of surprising everyone with scene changes, and considering that filming never went in order, the actors hardly knew what scene was coming and what scenes they had already done.

Dan looked around, wishing Bonnie would come walking around the corner and hold him again. But she was busy in the schoolroom, so he just took a few deep breaths and decided to take a quick walk out to his trailor.

He reached his door when he thought he heard a slight sound from Tom's trailor right next door. He walked over to Tom's trailor, thinking maybe Tom had listened to his iPod and was laughing. But when he got closer, he realized no such luck, Tom was crying. Dan took the two steps up to the door and gently opened it and peaked inside. "Tom? Is everything ok?"

Tom had been trying to keep his sniffling to a minimum, afraid that if someone went out to his or her own trailer, they might hear him. Apparently, he had not done a good enough job of keeping himself quiet, as he heard his trailer door open and the familiar voice of Dan call out to him.

Tom jumped up suddenly and rubbed his eyes quickly. He didn't have a mirror, but he knew that he must look a mess - puffy, red eyes, hair sticking up. "Dan, I, um...er, uh...no, nothing's wrong," he stuttered, knowing Dan would not buy that sorry piece of acting.

Dan could tell Tom was lying, but didn't want to pry. "Oh." he said and stepped inside and closed the door. "I have to let you know, I'm only on a 5 minute, but I want to help." Dan took a seat in Tom's trailor and looked up. "So are you going to tell me, or am I just going to stare at you?"

Tom looked up at his best mate and was relieved to know that he could trust him. Tom had to give up this front that he always put on for everyone that told them he was okay even when he wasn't. So far, it hadn't gotten him anywhere and had only lead to heartache. Tom sat fully upright and motioned his hand toward the chair that sat across from his bed for Dan to sit down.

"It's Emma, mate. I just don't know what to do with her. I've tried apologizing to her. I wrote her a note this morning and left it in her trailer. I know she's found it, but she still isn't receptive to me. She's still angry and hostile, and I'm at a total loss as to what to do. I can't stand not having her, mate. You know how much I care for her and how long I've waited to actually have her. If I hadn't been such a *** last night and lost control, I would probably still have her. But just being in the same room with her right now has literally made me sick. This is the second time I've had to leave the study room because I just can't be in her presence at the moment. I've got a splitting headache, my stomach is tied in knots, and I feel hot all over. I just can't seem to get over her. I don't want to get over her, to be honest. I know that we're supposed to be together, and she knows it, too. I just can't figure out what to do, mate." Tom shocked even himself at the ease with which the words poured out of his mouth. He couldn't have stopped once he had started even if he had wanted to. Feeling the sting of the tears coming back into his eyes, Tom stopped finally and took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down.

"Well, the study room isn't exactly the best place to try and talk to her." Dan hated that his friend was hurting, but he also knew he only about two more minutes before he was expected to kiss Katie again. "Look, after we get this scene done, completely, and we move on, catch her during the transition. Either coming out here or staying in there when people are coming out here. Either way, catch her in the commotion so noone is stopping to listen and you can talk. But listen, I have to go. Katie tripped last shot and we need to do that angel again." Dan stood up and went to the door. "Then however many other angels Bob wants." He looked back at Tom and smiled. "It'll be ok, mate. I know it will." And with that, Dan walked out of Tom's trailor and back onto set.

"Hey, Bob. Ready for this?" Dan called as he walked back to his spot. He walked up to Katie and whispered, "Be careful of that rug, now. It's dangerous." He smiled at her, hoping she would smile back. She was a sweet girl, and while he was with Bonnie, he still wanted to be friends with Katie.

matt staid in the back watching as the miseltoe scene play over and over. the sounds of bob yelling cut or the crew filming seemed to be incorporeal to him. all he saw was katie and dan looking directly at each other.

"maybe i should give up..." he sighed to himself "...i mean i'll still like her but hopefully it'll fade"

again he watched as they kissed and started over. it felt as if he was in deja vu of his worse image but he could do nothing. they were only filming. but none the less matt heart sank with every take but he kept watching hping it will cause him to move on... at least he hoped it would.

Rupert was still in the study room waiting till they were called out for the next scene. He was getting antsy. he started to tap his pen on the table.

Right when the director yelled cut,
Katie fled to her dressing room. She was shocked at what she
had just done. The makeup lady came in, and did a quick
touch-up. Then she sighed and went back out to set.

I'm just embaressed out of my mind." Katie said.

"And ACTION!" He yelled.

Tom listened to Dan's speech. As much as he respected Dan, he didn't think that his advice right now seemed to be the right thing to do. Emma hadn't reacted well to his attempts to talk to her so far, and he knew that if he tried to force his company on conversation, he would risk losing her for forever, and that was something he couldn't risk.

"Thanks, mate, but I don't know if that's the best idea right now. She hasn't exactly responded well to me today, so if I try to force her to talk to me, I think the scene will turn very ugly. I think I'll just try to be as nice as possible to her. If I get nowhere with that, then I might consider your suggestion," Tom told Dan. "But, I know you need to get back to the set, so you better run on. Otherwise, Director Bob will have your head. I'll see you later, mate." Tom was speaking rather half-heartedly, somewhat in a daze. He waved as Dan left his trailer, and sat back on his bed with his hands behind his head, staring at the ceiling. Slowly, he felt his eyes close and he drifted off to sleep.

Dan was taken aback by Katie's comment. "We only need to get it right, then it's over," he rushed saying that as Bob yelled 'last time for today'. He hurried to his spot and heard ACTION ring out over the building.

"Ok, see you two back in the common room!" Dan threw in a wave this time and sent to pick the pillows. He heard Katie start sniffling, and he got this weird feeling that she wasn't completely faking her tears this time. "Cho? Are you ok?" Dan was really starting to get worried about Katie. It wasn't a fake worry in his voice when he said this line, he genuinely wanted to know if she was ok.

Dan once again let the pillows fall and walked over to Katie. He pulled her in for a hug, and felt her crying softly. He closed his eyes for a moment and then pulled her back and said his line. "I'm sure he did...It's just when Volde...when HE decides to raise his wand, no amount of training can protect you." Dan said his line and waited for the mistletoe to be mentioned. He knew Katie was getting uncomfortable, so he added this time "It's ok." softly before she looked up.

Bonnie was still in thee schoool room. She wanted to get to the set and watch the scene. She wished he was thinking of her while kissing her. But she was sure he was thinking about the scene. Katie was a beautiful girl, older than her. And that might be atractive to Dan. She wanted to be Katie at tht moment.

Rupert wondered were Matt was. he wasn't in the class room with the rest of them. He started to think of how he would react if he had heard what had happened between him and Katie. Rupert was no having trouble staying awake. Everytime he tried to read something his eyes would go out of focus and he started to fall asleep.

occ: Hey guys, i'm saying that today is Friday and then its the weekend so Emma's "boyfriend" can come down to the set.

ic: Emma sighed. She asked the teacher if she could leave again. Today was a day that her good boy friend was off school and the next day was a Saturday so she wanted him to come down for the weekend. She called him on his cellphone. "Hey Mike. You wanna come down to the set?" Emma asked him. Mike was used to her asking. She always invited him down, if Bob said it was okay.
"Won't you have to ask your director?" Mike asked sounding faint on the phone line..
"Yea. I'll ask him and then call you back!" Emma said.
She hung up her phone, shoved it in her pocket and went back into the schoolroom, grinning broadly as she went in

Edit: WOW! No one is on but me! That's a record! lol!

Dan looked up as well. "Yeah." he said. He looked back down at Katie, tears still in her eyes. He looked back up and tilted his head. "It's probably filled with nargles."
