"Sirius, wait-" CRACK "Oh, great..."

Sirius has persuaded Remus, Tonks, and his girlfriend Amelia to come with him on holiday to a remote island. Unfortunatley, bad goes to worse and they are trapped on the island. The full moon is less than a week away - but that's not the only problem.

Tonks and Remus' relationship has been shaky, but stuck on an island; with only Sirius and Amelia for company, they begin to see sides of the other that they never knew existed. But are these sides less than what the exausted mind sees?

Sirius thought Amelia was fun, laid back, kind. He's finding out that she is exactly the opposite. Amelia was expecting a holiday resort - Sirius forgot to mention that it was a deserted island. As Sirius begins to see the more stuck-up side of Amelia; will there be anything left to salvage in their dying relationship?

Howdy doo, Tonks here and reporting for duty.

I spoke too soon! Right, that means we have a Tonks, Remus, and Sirius standing by! (Amelia could be asleep) Right ho, off we go:

Remus yawned slightly, he'd been awake all night, trying to figure out a way off this accursed island - with no sucess. His pale eyes flickered over Sirius, Amelia, and Tonks; who were all asleep. He rubbed his eyes wearily and poked the fire he'd been trying to keep going all night.

Tonks had not had a pleasant sleep. Firstly she'd dreamed that she was stuck on some strange island with Remus, Sirius and Amelia. And then, when she had woken up in a sweat at around midnight, she semi-consciously noted that there was a loud strange noise coming from one of her friends. Apparently, one of them snored.

Amelia sounded was sleeping very easily until she heard the sound of noices.

Remus watched Sirius, Amelia, and Tonks and stopped himself from laughing. Sirius was snoring rather loudly. Remus went over to him and pushed him slightly, so that he rolled over and stopped snoring.

Tonks groaned and pushed herself upwards, propping herself up on one elbow. Yawning widely, she regarded her situations. Remus had just pushed Sirius, no doubt in an attempt to stop the man from snoring.
'Mornin,' Tonks said groggily to everyone, wondering just how much she'd had to drink, hoping it was enough to assure herself she was just hallucinating the fact she was on a strange island.

Remus grinned at Tonks as she woke up. "Good morning, Tonks." He gave up on trying to stop Sirius from snoring, walked back to the fire and started making breakfast.

'Morning Remus. Wazzermarrer with my cousin?' Tonks asked, indicating the loud snoring noises coming from where Sirius was. Not receiving an answer, Tonks just grinned. 'You've been having cookery lessons from Molly Weasley, haven't you?' she chuckled, indicating where Remus was making breakfast.

Remus put on a fakely-offended look, "I could already cook well before I took those lessons." He then smiled and passed Tonks a drink of some sort.

Tonks accepted the concoction, looking at it suspiciously.
'Auror training says not to accept drinks from mysterious people...' she began, before wrapping two thin arms around Remus' shoulders. 'And you are my wonderfully mysterious man....'.

Remus smiled mysteriously at her. "Well, I haven't poisoned it, and that's something..." He sniffed it suspiciously. "But I don't actually suggest drinking it." Remus put the goblet down, as Tonks had wrapped her arms around his shoulders and her face was only a few inchs away...

They were so close, so wonderfully close.....they were practically touching.
They were touching. Wrapped together in a warm embrace, as though the world were non-existant, everything was non-existant besides Remus, Tonks and their love for each other. They were falling through Dreamland.

But Dreamland couldn't last forever. Remus must of accidently knocked over the goblet, because it spilled and burned a small hole through his robes. "I'm glad you didn't drink that..."

Tonks pulled away from Lupin suddenly, noticing both the large scorch mark on his robes and the fact that Amelia had woken up.
'Oops - Remus, was that me? Oh, if it was, I'm so sorry,' Tonks apologised feverently, taking out her wand and racking her brains for the right spell to correct her mistake. When she realised she couldn't find one, she turned to Amelia. 'Wotcher, Amelia. How are you?'.

Remus smiled at Tonks, he got out his wand and flicked it. "Reparo!" The burn mark mended itself. "Scourgify!" The drink cleared itself up. "I'm the one who should be sorry, if you had drunk that... Morning Amelia."
