Benjamin looked at the brother and sister, and couldnt help but laugh. They were so much alike, even if they didnt look it. Finn with his dark hair and light skin, looked nothing like his sister, who had bright, loud hair. They were both happier with new things happening in their lives. Finn with a new baby boy, and Chole with a ring on her finger. He had missed so much, yet he was still here. That counted for something.

Ben still couldnt believe he was here. Just three weeks ago, he was tied up to pole. It still gave him goose bumps thinking about all the things he had to endure. The scar on his chest wont ever go away. Luckily it had healed somewhat, so Emmylyne and the others didnt have to see it. It will always be a remainder of what he had to go through to get back to his family and friends.

Feeling somebody hug him from behind, a warm smile escaped his lips. In the back of his head, he couldve swore he felt her stomach a little more fuller than it should be. He pushed the thought away and turned to face her. "That sounds good. Ill be back, Love." he said. He stood up, kissed her on the cheek and headed for the stairs. Not even noticing the miserable state his best mate was in, he carefully made his way upstairs.

Walking into the main room, he went into the master bathroom. After carefully stripping from his clothes and taking the sling off, he climbed into the shower. It felt so good to just stand under the hot water again. He hadnt shower in so long! He didnt even know how long he had been gone. Meaning he didnt know when the last time he actually showered.

After climbing out of his much needed shower, he placed a towel around his waist and found some clothes that he could borrow in the dresser. Walking back into the bathroom, he carefully placed his arm back into his sling. It was still painful, but he could tell the potion was doing its job.

Benji then walked over to a desk in search for parchment and a quill. After finding both, he wrote two letters to both his sisters.

Dear Jenny/Jodie,

Come to Axel's place.

Signed,
Your brother,
Benji

It was short and simple. But it told a lot. He then went in search for an owl to use to send both letters. He couldnt wait to see them both. After finding Constantine, Axel's eagle owl, he placed his arm that wasnt in the sling out for her to land on. After petting the beautiful bird, he set her down on the window sill and tied both letters to the eagle owl. "Can you take these to Jenny and Jodie Lawley? Thanks Const." he whispered to her.

Finnegan chuckled lightly at his wife's wit then kissed her hand. "Of course." He gently picked up the bundle of blankets without waking the sleeping child inside them. Kissing his son's forehead, the young man walked around the kitchen with him until Chloe came up behind him and whispered something in his ear. Nodding once, Finn gently kissed Eli on the cheek then gave her a fleeting glance as he walked outside.

Taking Axel by the hand, Chloe brought him outside and sat him on a chair near the pool as Finn walked around with Ashton. He stared at her for some time before the young woman finally spoke. "How the hell are ya gonna tell Benji 'bout you an' Ems without him killin' ya?" she demanded.

Frowning and not meeting his cousin's gaze, Axel answered her with a grunt, followed by a 'humph' that came from Chloe. "I dunno!" he finally said, clutching his hair which was becoming more and more disheveled. "He's gonna kill me. And...I can't live with what I did. That was horrible." By this time, he was up and pacing in front of his two family members as they watched with worry in their eyes.

"I...I can't be in the room with him. I mean...he's alive and he has no idea that Emmy is..." he didn't need to finish that because they knew exactly what he was going to say. "Why does everything have to happen to me? I mean, I finally find happiness and it'll probably just go away as easily as it came," he mused.

Finn scowled as he rocked Ashton back and forth. "Axel. Ben is not gonna kill ya. Yeah, he'll be mad, but afta' a while he'll unda'stand. I always thought on some level he knew how much in love with her ya always were," he said sincerely. He placed a comforting hand on Ax's shoulder and squeezed. "No matta' wha' 'appens, we're 'ere for ya. You know tha', right?" And he was completely honest. Family always had to stick together, not matter what happened.

Chloe nodded in agreement with her little brother as she too stood up. Her honey colored eyes locked with Axel's sea green ones; she then gave him a tight hug and didn't release until he wanted to. He held on for quite a few minutes then finally let go. "Finn's righ'. He won't kill ya, but he'll fer sure be mad," she said quietly. There was no doubt about it. Benji would be furious, but he had to find out sometime, right?

Axel nodded as he let one tear escape his eye and land on Chloe's shirt. "I guess I just have to tell him then...I dunno though, maybe Emmy has some way that she wants to do it instead." True, she might have had some other way of telling him without breaking it to him too roughly. This was difficult though. How was this supposed to come off as a small problem? "Thanks Finn, CJ. You've helped me more than you know. And not just now, over the years as well."

CJ smiled warmly and saw back down on her chair, looking up at her brother. "We'll always be 'ere for ya Ax. Ya can count on tha'," she said with a wink. "Now, gimme my nephew. He needs to get acquainted with his aunt Chloe!" she said excitedly, taking the little boy from Finn.

Finn only laughed as he handed over the bundle of joy to his big sister. "'Ave at it. In no time you'll be his favorite aunt. Probably close with Hannah if she turns out to be exactly like ya," he chuckled.

Axel smiled at the two as they laughed and joked, while his heart seemed to swell a few sizes, but his stomach was still plummeting as that thought never left the back of his mind.

Smiling as the young girl listened to everything he said Remmy couldn’t help thinking that maybe tricking and using this three year old wasn’t a very “nice” thing to do. Then he remembered that it was all for Emmy.

“Yes go with them.” Remmy answered in a dry voice knowing very well that the family might be looking for her soon, and if they went to look for Lainie and Lainie wasn’t there; they would all know that something was up.

As Laih asked if she should pretend to believe them it got him thinking. If Lainie acted like she liked Benjamin everyone would think that everything was perfect. And that was definitely not what he wanted. He wanted the family to be scared of Ben, maybe think that something was wrong with him, and in order for that to happen one person had to start it. Then when everyone in the house didn’t trust Benjamin he would leave and Axel would be the only person left to get rid of.

“No.” He answered slowly. “Act like you’re scared of him. Act like he frightens you.” Then after a few moment he added. “And if they ask why you’re scared of him say… say…when he’s around you feel unhappy and like something bad is going to happen ok?”

Standing up Remmy stretched and looked straight at Lainie. “Don’t worry, I’ll be able to help you really soon.” He said with a wink. “Time for me to leave. See you later Laih.”

He picked up his walkie-talkie and began walking back to the same spot in the library that he had entered from. Soon enough he was back in his tunnel thinking of what he would do next, and playing with the letter in his hand.

After delivering the letters, Benji walked back down stairs. His leg was no longer limping and his eyes were both working like they should. Emmylyne was a miracle worker. He was glad she was training to be a healer even more than before now.

Walking back into the kitchen, he could smell food begining to cook. Food! That was something he had been longing for almost as much as seen his friends and family. A home-cooked meal. He took in a deep breath and let it out slowly. It was making his stomach growl. "That smells delicious Eli." he commented. As he was about to sit onto a nearby chair, a loud crack filled the room.

Jennifer Lawley appeared in the house, a letter still clutched in her trembling had. She wasnt entirely sure how she had managed to apparate without splinching herself, but she had. Opening and closing her sandy brown eyes quickly, she tired to hold in the tears threating to fall. Was he really standing there before her? Her older brother? Benji was back? She had been at his funeral. She had cried for months. Just today somebody mentioned a Ben at work, and her eyes had welled up. But here he was now. In a sling and had that oh-to familiar smile on his face.

"Benji?" Jenny said slowly. Her chest hurt and it was growing harder and harder to breath. A ball the size of a softball was formed in the back of her throat, making it hard to swallow. She could feel her whole body trembling, but she did nothing to stop it.

A smile formed on Benjamin's face as he saw his baby sisted appear in the kitchen. "Jen." he said happily. He then walked the few steps toward her and wrapped his arm around her. He pulled her closer to him and hung on tight.

As Ben pulled her into a hug, she let her tears fall. He was alive! She couldnt believe he was alive. "Oh Ben. I thought you were gone. I thought I was going to have to live without my brother!" she cried soflty into his shoulder.

Jodie Lawley apparated into the living room. She held a determined expression on her face as she took steady steps into the kitchen. The first thing her sky blue eyes saw, were Jenny hugging somebody. Her first thoughts were "Wow, Jenny is here, with Emmy in the same house." But then she remembered why she was here. She could only see the person's back but she knew who it was.

"Benjamin? Your alive!" she said enthusiasticly and walked over to her two younger siblings. She wrapped her arms around them both and laid her head upon the youngest. She couldnt believe he was alive and she couldnt be more happier.

As soon as the door opened, to Nikolas' intense surprise his sister; older by a year, threw herself into his arms. "Well it's nice to see you, too, Emma." Nik greeted, rocking one foot to the other and pulled back from her hug just enough to see she was crying. The smile was wiped from his face, and replaced by a concerned frown. "What's wrong, did you and Axel have a fight or something?" He asked, eyebrow raising. Nikolas pulled Emmylyne's smaller frame protectively into his firm arms, letting her sob into his shoulder, his chin placed ontop of her head. Although he was younger, by a month less then a year, that didn't stop him from being taller.

Hearring her faint murmur of 'Benjamin's alive' the young dragon keeper held his sister at arms reach, blue eyes staring fixedly puzzled. Something was wrong, Emmy had to of hit her head or something. Benjamin had died, when Lainie was only months old.

Shaking his head, Nikolas wiped his sisters rosy cheeks gently and pulled her along, entering the house. "AX." Nik shouted, glancing around while walking through the hall. He was going to find out what happened, surely Axel knew? "AXEL," He continued, against Emmylyne's protests.

Nik stopped short, almost halfway through the kitchen and released his sister's wrist. He wasn't sure how to react or what to think, other then Emmy not being mentally ill. "Ohh-y," the twenty-one year old turned swiftly to see it was Elissa, of course, that had caused the sudden pain in the back of his right calf. He silently scowled at the look she gave him. A look he knew all to well, 'Shuttup Nik!'.

After leaving the library, the toddler made sure Remmy was gone and the door was closed. Although Lainie was quite advanced for her young age, intelligence wise; she still looked, sounded, and even behaved her own age.

Wandering down the hall, in one arm Casa was held to her side, her thumb in her mouth as her other hand subconsciously ran through short strands of blonde locks, fingers twirling gently around certain curls.

Earth toned hazel eyes staring down at her white sandals that she had pacifically picked out on her own for the cute yellow daisy print near her toes, the 'clip clop' sort of sound coming from her shoes repeatedly meeting the wood hall floor didn't break her thoughts, but possibly made her concentrate more.

Their protector put her on a mission, it sounded difficult to her, for she was unsure of what he could have meant but nonetheless she would do as told. He was letting her help keep her family safe, he was their guardian. Or so Laih thought.

Skipping into the kitchen, the toddler's orbs widened with excitement; a big smile forming on her fruity pink lips. "Mommmyyy!" Laih squealed. Having not had seen her mother today, Lainie ran and nearly tackled the grown woman.

Hearring 'Mommy' being called, Emmylyne quickly wiped her eyes of water and turned towards the little but sweet voice. Seeing her daughter happy brought a small smile to her own face, warming her through the rough situation almost.

The three year old had barely waited for her to bend down before crashing into her. Emmy sat upon her knees, out of Eli's way after giving her daughter a tight squeeze. "Remember what we talked about?" She asked; in a hushed, inaudible tone. Playing with Laih's little hands in her own.

Lainie gave an intentive nod of her curly haired head, nonverbally saying yes to her mother and then spoke up; though not as quietly as her mommy. "Yesh Mommy, I ish be careful of teh-" Babies.

Eli's amber eyes widened from behind the brown bangs that had fallen into her face. "LaihLove, would you be a sweetheart and go grab the others for me?" Elissa interupted politely, immediantly cutting across the young one. "Dinner's ready,"

Throwing her friend a brief, but greatful look, Emmylyne stood; smoothing out her sweater, and rather then saying anything to anyone or taking obvious notice to Jenny's presence, the young woman went forward and began to help Eli by silently setting the table.

"Yesh, Esa. I ish sweeheaw, I ish do dat." Lainie responded slowly, but confidently. Skipping away from her mommy, the toddler was careful to stay out of everyones way; especially Elissa and her cooking and Mommy setting up the diningroom part.

She didn't put Casa down for even a moment. Going around the adults, Laih gave her uncle Nik a one armed hug, around his knee, and continued towards the back door. "Hiya Aunie Jenny an Jodieee." waving a small 'hello', she skipped off outside.

"What was that?" Axel said suddenly, interrupting the small chit chat his cousins were having about Ashton. Was someone yelling from inside? He stood quickly and walked to the back door, closely followed by Chloe and Finn. He opened the door and looked in, noticing that yet another body had been added to the large crowd they were forming.

Frowning slightly, the young man looked from Nik to Emmy then back again, and quite a few times. His wife had been crying, he knew that much. Her face was not normally that red, and Nik just looked plain worried. Or was he mad as well? Ax greeted him by giving him a firm hug; a hug that was a bit tighter than normal. That should have been a dead giveaway that something was wrong.

"Oh hey Nik," Finnegan said as he walked through the back door, giving him a pat on the shoulder. Another person was here to help their situation; thank the lord. He then walked up behind Eli and whispered a few words of comfort, knowing that she was a bit tense at the moment, but weren't they all? Finally noticing that Ben's sister's were here, he gave a slight frown. Didn't one of them have a problem with Emmy? He couldn't remember.

"Nikolas, ya made it!" Chloe said happily, well, as happy as she could. She gave him a gentle one-armed hug, seeing as the other was occupied with Ashton. She then sat down at the kitchen table and began to rock the baby slowly. "Eli, ya want me to give Ash his bottle?" she asked sweetly. Yeah, Ash was going to be spoiled by his aunt Chloe, there was no doubt about that.

After releasing Nik, which obviously he had because Chloe had made her way to him, Axel too sat down at the kitchen table. Finally, he met his wife's gaze, but only for a second. His sea green eyes were sad, they were worried, and they were scared to death that she would leave him for her first husband.

His gaze then landed on Lainie, his step-daughter. Yet, she no longer felt like his anymore. Well, she hadn't of been his in the first place, but he had adopted her so that he and Emmy shared custody. Now what was to become of them? She would absolutely be happy to see her real dad, even though she probably had no idea who he was.

Feeling his cousin's pain, Finn moved from his wife to Axel and stood behind the chair he was occupying. He rubbed his shoulders, a small way of telling him everything would work out. Even though it was a long-shot, he knew that somehow they would work everything out, even if it involved Axel or not. How are they gonna break it to Benji? This has to be one of the hardest things I've eva' seen him 'ave to do. I bet he'd take those tortures instead of this righ' 'bout now.

Still rocking the sleeping baby, Chloe's honey colored eyes scanned the room and noticed that Jenny and Jodie had arrived. Now, which was the one tha' didn't get along with Ems? Oh righ', it was Jenny. Well, if she 'as a problem with Ems, does she also 'ave the same problem with Axel? This thought made her scowl. Just another problem for them to deal with when already they had so much on their plate. This was going to be interesting.

Axel nodded gratefully up to Finn then made him sit beside him at the table. This, clearly, was tearing him up inside. He couldn't stand it any longer. he had to just...shout. But he held it in. Instead, his hands shook in his lap, even more than they had before. More and more people to see him fall into a pit of shame. Wonderful.

Nodding slightly, to show she was listening, Eli stole a quick glance at her sister-in-law before returning her gaze to the food she was cooking. "Uhm..yeah, that would be great-" She paused, taken by surprise that Lainie seemed abit . . . Oblivious? "Just one sec, Chlo." the young woman finished what she had been saying, and left it was fine to leave the chicken and tomato Paella on the stove; only on warm for it was done.

"Laih.." She called sing-songishly, darting carefully past the others and reached out the back door, setting one bare-foot outside on the cold cement. "Little missy, they came back inside, you can't go play it's dinner time." Elissa said, leading the toddler back inside and left her to be after closing the screen to the backdoor; preventing any bugs and what not from coming in. "Pick a seat, and sit Lain."

Disappearing out of the room for afew moments, the brunette returned with the stroller, baby bag inside the carseat. She made sure to grab a bottle and pop it into the microwave to warm it, and then set the stroller down out of the way, near where she planned to sit.

Although it seemed they thought Finnegan, Chloe and Axel had slipped past her, she was going for the second thing Eli said; playing outside. Shrugging her tiny shoulders, more to herself or her favorite stuffed animal then anyone else, Laih glanced around. At first, bouncing over to Chloe, with the baby. She slowed down greatly, once within steps of them, and gently reached out to pet Ashton's tiny little hand. Cautious enough, the three year old hesitantely let her lips brush the baby's cheek, "Otay I ish weave you to your baba Ashieee," She whispered, taking the baby bottle that Eli had checked and handed to her, to give to Chloe.

Setting the bottle down infront of the redhead, Lainie skipped away. Her hazeled earth toned eyes found her step-daddy after wandering around different relatives legs, accidentally smacking into her Uncle Nikolas once in the process. Nonetheless, the toddler made it over to Axel, and the first thing she noticed was his shaking hands. A nervous and or scared habit, perhaps?

Doing as she would anyother time, Lainie grabbed his hands to help her climb onto the chair to sit with him. "A-Dada..dish Mommy hab a pointment today? ish Mommy awight? ish bovers awight?" The toddler asked, concern and worriedness filled her faint whisper. Remmy had said something was going to happen, something bad..Laih didn't want her Mommy or twin brothers to be hurt, and the tension she felt from every body in the room was getting to her. "I no want Mommy huwt.." Laihlaih mumbled, her own brownish green orbs swelling with hot tears as she played with the lace trim of her yellow sundress.

Benjamin held on tightly to Jenny as she said things he never wanted her to say. "Dont worry. You will never have to be alone." he whispered in her ear. It was true. Even if he died, he would always be watching over her.

He then heard another pop and his eyes opened to see his eldest standing in front of them. Feeling her wrap her arms around them too, he couldnt help but smile. He didnt know what he would do without his sisters. They were his life just as much as Laih and Emmy were. "God I missed you two." he muttered into Jodie's shoulder.

Jodie let go of her younger brother and touched his face. He was real. He was alive. And he was here. Her mind was working double as she began to laugh with pure joy. "Ben. Ben. Ben." she chuckled. It was like she had been so sad before, that she couldnt cry now. All she could feel was absolute joy.

Noticing Emmy return to the kitchen, her smile dropped. "Benji must not know about her and Axel." she thought, walking over to her. She stopped in front of her and pulled Emmylyne into a hug. "How are you Em?" she asked her quietly.

She, unlike her sister, had stayed really close to Emmy and Laine after Benjamin died. Jodie even accepted when Emmy got married again. She knew it was her way of moving on, and that was what Jodie wanted for her, because she knew that was what Ben would of wanted. She never in a million years thought she would be seeing her brother again in this kitchen. Emmy must be going crazy with anxiety.

Jodie then looked around the kitchen for Axel. He must be in even more pain than Emmy. Of all the people Emmy could of married after Ben's death, Jodie was glad she had picked Axel. He has been friends with her brother and Emmy forever. She knew he would take care of her and her neice. But now, everything was going wrong for him. He must feel gulity for betraying his best friend. And he must be scared to death that Emmylyne was going to leave him now. This was a bad situation indeed.

Jenny wiped at the tears that were still falling down her cheek and folded her arms over her chest. She had suddenly gotten the chills. But then again it could just be shock. She still couldnt believe all this time she had thought Benji was dead. How stupid could she get?! All this time he had been held hostage somewhere and she could've helped him, like he would do for her. He never would of gave up if it was her. She felt ashamed that she had.

Seeing Emmylyne walk in, Jenny's eyes scrunched up in anger. Her. That no good witch. She had the guts to cheat on her brother and get with another guy. She didnt care what Jodie said, Jenny did not like Emmy. Emmy was going to cruch Benji when she told him she married another guy. She wondered if she was even going to tell him that she was pregnant. That woman was going to ruin her brother's life. She doesnt deserve him.

Seeing a little head with blond culrs run up to them and said hello to her aunties, his heart began to beat. That had to be her, his daughter. Laine. But before he could say anything to her, she was off. She had a lot of energy. That excited him a lot.

Turning back to Jenny he asked, "W-was that Laih?" Blood was pumping through hie veins as the thought of her floating in his head. He then noticed Jenny looking upset about something. He could tell it wasnt the fact that he was alive. It was something else. "Are you alright, Jen? Whats on your mind?" he asked her. He put a playful arm around her neck and kissed her cheek. He hoped that would put her in a better mood.

"Ya like your cousin Lain?" Chloe asked as she stroked Ashton's hair. He was absolutely adorable and Lainie was so cute with him as well. Taking the bottle from the little girl and giving her a swift kiss on her cheek, Chloe offered the baby his bottle which he took eagerly. She smiled down at her nephew. She was so incredibly glad that her brother had finally gotten the chance to be happy.

Patting Axel on the shoulder once more, Finn stood and walked over to Chloe. Smiling at his big sister, the young man knelt down and kissed Ash on the head as he drank his bottle. "I think he's taken a likin' to his aunt CJ," he chuckled. Now if only Ashton's godparents were here; Seamus and Kassidy. Seamus was in a different country for lacrosse so that wouldn't work.

Feeling the little girl grab his hands, Axel attempted to make himself stop shaking. It was a little easier now, seeing as it was Lainie who was at jeopardy here. "No Laih, every things fine," he said quietly, hoping his weak words would convince himself as well. "It's alright," he said again, wiping away a small tear that had escaped Lainie's eyes; the same eyes that of her mother. Oh lord.

This was going to be harder than he thought, especially with Lainie calling him 'dad'. Benji would find out some way, but he hoped it wasn't by accident. Knowing his luck, it would end up being bad. Ben would get mad, there was no doubt about that. Again, his hands began to shake with all of the emotions coursing through his body.

Chloe giggled lightly and looked at her brother. "Well he should. Little does he know tha' I'll be spoilin' him rotten," she nodded. She then looked up and noticed Ben's sisters walk into the room. "Oh 'ello Jenny, Jodie," she greeted with a smile. Running her fingers through her vibrant red hair, the twenty four year old took note of Jenny's sour face. Oh yeah, she was the one who didn't like Ems, and probably Ax for that matter.

Finnegan too looked up from his child and greeted the two sisters with a smile. "Long time no see." Very true, he hadn't seen those two in a very long time. He also hadn't known about Jenny's loathing for Emmy. It didn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. Like there wasn't enough tension in the room, they had to add more. Just get it ova' with!

And there were Benji's sisters. Oh yeah, they probably hated him now. At least Jenny did, by the look on her face. Now what was he gonna go? More people were here to witness Ben's reaction, let alone his own self loathing. Why did he think everything would be fine when he married Emmylyne? Nothing ever happened like he wanted it to. Everything had to go wrong. He was a magnet for bad luck.

Running his fingers through his messy brown hair, the young man sighed and leaned back in his chair. This was going to be an interesting week, and he knew how it would probably end. Not good.

Emmylyne exhaled another shallow breath, taking a moment in the tight embrace to speak in a hushed tone. "I..don't know," she responded slowly; truthfully. The young woman didn't know what to do, or say, or what was expected of her. Her brain and heart were once again battling. Yet, her heart was in two. It was a battle to the death and in any real wrestling match, her brain would be considered unconscious or close to it, while the two halves went at it.

"I didn't mean for this, I never ever wanted to do this to him." Emmy's murmur refured to Benjamin. Releasing her daughters aunt, someone who was still considered family; she ran a hand through her brownish blonde locks out of a nervous habit, brushing back strands that had fallen into her face.

Nodding her head slightly to Elissa's announcement that she'd like everyone to sit for dinner, Ems went over to an upset Lainie, and Axel even but did not meet his gaze. Only reached out to pick the toddler up.

Even after Axel had wiped afew of the tears, they continued to tumble silently from her big innocent orbs. She sucked her thumb, leanning against the young man while gazing around at everyone with confusion. Confusion was probably the only emotion of her own that she could feel; but her mum had it too, so that wasn't even certain. She could feel anger, confusion, happiness, sadness, and a number of other things all at once. It was no surprise the three year old was crying, she was far beyond overwhelmed.

"NO!" Came a very loud, very alarmed shriek. Clearly Laih had startled her mother, for she backed up a step after being pushed further from grabbing her. Lainie swiftly slid down from her step-fathers lap and back onto her own two feet. She was scared, and..annoyed?

Stomping her foot, the toddler furiously shook her curly haired head. "No! Mommy ish upse! Mommy can't pick Waih up, I ish not teh baby. Dat wouwd huwt da babies!" Laih yelled, though not in her face; just to make herself heard. She motioning to her mothers stomach, and went on quickly, "Mommy ish not okay and Axew-Daddy ish wyed! Fwien said somefing bad ish happen!"

The adults made her feel extremely little, bad about herself, without them even ackknowledging it. Which was probably one of the reasons she trusted Remington as much as she did. He didn't treat her like a baby, he let her help with the important stuff and didn't doubt her.

Eli jumped, also quite startled by the exclaiming. The glass that had been in her hand, smacked the floor in peices. A hand rested shockedly over the woman's mouth; Laih had just said FAR too much.

"Chlo, could we please move the baby into a different room, upstairs..one of the kids rooms would be best," Elissa suggested abruptly. Pausing in her actions of picking up the broken cup, instead she stood and grabbed her wand from the counter where she had left it, and with a wave the glass was repaired and set onto the table.

Eli's frown of discomfort only deepened; crossing the room to her best friend, she wrapped her arms around her, briefly, whispering: "You have to face the music; follow your heart Ems..whatever happens is suppose to, remember what Aggie use to tell us." Hugging her tighter, the twenty-two year old patted her head gently and left her side to help her husband's sister with the baby; getting the stroller.

Lainie had run from the room, crying harder now. Nikolas had stood dumbfound near the table for what seemed like several moments before moving. "No Emma, you stay. I'll go check on her," He insisted, seeing his sister move to go after the child.

And everyone wonders why I like work more then being home. Nikolas thought, blue eyes rolling towards the ceiling as he let out a sigh and went further down the hall; just then turning into the living room to see his neice laying on the couch with a pillow covering her brightly colored and tear stained face.

If Emmylyne's face wasn't burning enough, her cheeks had turned an even brillianter shade of red. With the help of her brother she was standing, and now walking into the kitchen; avoiding everyones gaze. Something was obviously wrong with her and Benji's daughter, she wanted that taken care of first but it was too late and Nik had gone after her anyway. There were far to many thoughts swirling around in her head, and the young woman felt absolutely horrible.

She was finding it extremely hard to speak, even the thought of opening her mouth made her want to throw up. As a safety precaution Emmy stood infront of the sink, her hands out infront of her on the smooth countertop surface for support. Tears continued to flow freely from her tired earth toned eyes, trailing down vivid red cheeks; after a second she sniffled, releasing a breath she had been holding and wiped her chin. It was taking everything in her not to run from the room, like some immature teenage girl who couldn't handle the problems she brought on herself.

Jodie frowned at Emmy. She could only imagine what she was going through. As she said she never wanted this for her brother, Jodie nodded. "Of course you didnt want this. Dont worry. It will work out eventually, I mean, come on. Its Benji after all." she chuckled.

She knew her brother was going to be extremely mad. No doubt about it. But hopefully with her and Jenny's presence, he will calm down. Well, maybe more of her than Jenny. She just hoped Jenny didnt make the situation even worse. Jodie knew that Jenny was already giving Emmylyne harsh looks. She would have to talk to her later. When this thing had blown over.

Benjamin turned as the three year old began to shout. His face scrunched up in confusion at some of Lainie's words. Hurt the babies? What babies? It was almost like the little girl was pointing at Emmy's stomach. He let out a confused laugh as he listened to what else the child had to say.

Lainie was really upset. But he didnt understand why. Was she maybe upset because of him? Ben then stopped thinking as Axew-daddy came out of the curly headed girl's lips. At first he grew happy at the thought that Axel was a father. Then he began to think about it. Why was Laih calling him daddy? The toddler was upset, but was that what she did? Did she call everybody daddy because she didnt even know her real daddy?

"Wait. Whats going on?" he asked the room at large. Ben turned his head sharply to look at his wife. She was crying close to the sink. He took three steady steps toward her and stood his ground. "Emmy?" he asked. Why was she in tears? Why was his daughter yelling and crying also?

As he stood there, he finally felt the tension that was in the air that had arrived with his arrival. He looked around the room, and saw that almost everybody was avoiding his gaze. Something was up. He didnt like how people were hiding something from him. Especially on his first day back. What were they playing at? Did they think he couldnt handle it or something? After everything he has been through?!

"Benjamin." Jodie warned. But he ignored her. She stood near by her brother and Emmylyne, just in case she had to intervene. She hoped he didnt take his anger out on her to much.

Jenny closed her eyes as her neice began shouting and crying. It was going to happen now. She could feel it. All she could do was stand here and let it happen. She wanted to say something to Emmylyne so bad, but she saw the look on her sister's face and backed down.

In a way she felt bad for the twenty two year old, but then again she deserved it. She was the one who married Axel. She of all people shouldnt of given up on Ben and think he was dead. She was supposedly his best friend as long with the love of his life. But she gave up so easily. It was heartbreaking how easily she gave up on him.

As Nik left to go after the three year old, Jenny turned to look at Ben as he walk determinedly toward what he thought was his wife. It made her sick to her stomach to see Emmy so "sad." Shes trying to make it look like she was one this was happening to. She couldnt hold her tounge any longer. "Why dont you tell him Emmy? Break my brother's heart. Stand up to what you have done." she said, fire blaring in her eyes.

"Jenny!" Jodie said staring hard at her baby sister. She was not making the matters better, and she had a feeling that Jenny didnt even care.

Benjamin turned to look at Jenny as she spoke. What was she talking about? This was begining to freak him out. He slowly turned back to Emmylyne, his eyes scared and confused. "Ems?"

"Oh god," Axel breathed as Lainie blew their cover. That was it. Benji knew. All he could do was sit and wait for the worst to happen. Would he take Axel's head off? Would be break down crying? Who knew what he would do? The young man felt helpless. He didn't know what to do or say, he sat there, mouth open and sea green eyes wide.

Even though he was in such a stage of shock, Axel still noticed that Lainie said something about a friend. Vee had mentioned something to him about a 'friend' before she left for school. Yes, it seemed odd, but he had to focus on the task at hand: trying not to get killed, again. What was he supposed to do? He had been in love with Emmy his whole life and he just stepped aside when Ben wanted to marry her. He had finally had his chance and now he felt horrible. How was this fair?

"Bloody hell," Finn whispered as one of his hands subconsciously moved to his jet black hair. He moved to stand behind Axel and placed both hands on either one of his shoulders. If he was going down Finn would surely go with him. There was no way that his cousin would be the victim of abuse, again. Glancing at Eli, Finn gave her a helpless glance. What would happen now? He felt like a deer in headlights.

Honey colored eyes widening as Lainie spoke those words, Chloe quickly nodded to Elissa and quickly moved up the stairs with the baby. After making sure Ashton was safely in his pack-n-play, the redhead moved silently down the stairs again and into the kitchen where she perched next to her brother. On hearing the unfaithful Jenny speak, her eyes narrowed in her direction. That slimy bugga'.

Sighing, Axel stood, much to his cousin's protests, and walked over to Emmy and Ben. He would take this like a man and tell his best friend himself. Swallowing hard, he took a deep breath then began. "Emmy and I were married almost two years after your death. And now she's pregnant with my twins. Benji I'm so sorry." At his last sentence he dropped his gaze to the floor and supported himself on the counter. He felt dizzy, like he would pass out any moment. He couldn't believe he had just told him.

Finnegan's eyes widened, then he quickly moved to his cousin's side to steady him. Grabbing him under his arm he made sure the young man didn't fall. Wow, this mus' be hard for him. I can't believe he didn't pass out. He seriously couldn't believe that he had just told Ben their situation. All they had to do was wait for his reaction, which he knew would be explosive with the help of Jenny. He glared at the thought of her. An' she used to be nice.

Chloe's hand immediately covered her mouth as Axel finally told Ben. She locked eyes with Eli for a moment, only to give her a very scared glance. She couldn't move. All she worried about was what Jenny would say. No, not what Ben would say, but his little sister. It was quite ridiculous that they had to worry about what Ben's little sister would say about their ordeal. It was absurd. Absolutely ridiculous.

After Finn had steadied him, Axel sat back down in the chair he had vacated only moments ago and placed his head between his knees. I can't believe I just did that. He's gonna kill me. He's actually gonna kill me. Gimme the dark wizards now! I don't wanna make my best friend hurt anymore! "Ben I'm so sorry," he managed to choke out as a few tears escaped his eyes. He felt Chloe begin to rub his back which, shockingly, made him feel a bit better. But it wouldn't take away anything that he was feeling.

Chloe absolutely couldn't believe it. She looked up to her brother as she sat beside Axel and began to comfort him, but he looked just as shocked as she was. Her heart was pounding even more than it was before, she almost felt like everyone could hear it. Gimme the dragons now! I can't handle this!

Finn leaned against the sliding glass door and sighed as, again, his hand moved to his pitch black hair. All he, or anyone else for that matter, could do was wait for Ben's reaction which he was sure wasn't going to be good. Nothing could go uphill from here.

Sitting back up and leaning back in his chair, Axel's eyes locked with Ben's. All he could do was make him feel how badly he was hurting by just a glance. It was definitely not something that usually worked, but he had to try whatever he could. He couldn't speak. All he could do was wait.

Jodie closed her eyes as truth began to cross Benji's path. This was so not how she wanted him to find out. She bet Emmylyne and Axel didnt want him to find out this way either. Slowly her hazel eyes landed on Axel. She couldnt help but have a strong feeling of sympathy for him. Yes she felt terrible for her brother, but she felt just as bad for dear Ax. He didnt want this to happen. She knew he would never intentionally hurt Ben. They have been best friends longer than she can remember. This was just awful to watch.

Benjamin couldnt do anything but just look at Emmy. Slowly his heart began to break as she didnt say anything. Why wasnt she answering him? Why was she in pain? What were they hiding from him?! He was begining to sweat on the back of his neck. He had no patience in his body what-so-ever, so having to stand there waiting for somebody to tell him what was going on was killing him.

Jenny watched as her brother begin to panic. She couldnt stand to see him this way. How could they do this to her brother? It was like they didnt even care about him. One thing was straight, and that was she wasnt going to let Emmy or Axel live this down.

When Axel walked toward him, he gave him a pleading smile. Maybe he would be able to tell him what was going on. But what he said made the smile vanish from his face. He had to be dreaming. This wasnt happening. He was still in the damp shed, tied to a pole, having a nightmare. That was all. Pretty soon Remmy was going to enter and begin the day with one of his usual tortures.

But as he stood there, looking at Axel, Ben knew this wasnt a really bad dream. This was really happening. His best friend had taken his wife as his own. He had taken over his life. Did he even care that he was back? All he cared about was what Emmy was going to do now that he was back. How could be be so stupid in thinking that he would be welcomed back so easily. Well one thing was certain, he wasnt going to let this go so quickly.

Jodie gained new respect for Axel as he told Benji everything. He was braver than she thought he was. As he began to grow a little unsteady, she was glad to see that he was close to the counter. Jodie then looked at her brother, waiting for him to do something.

As he opened his mouth to say something, Axel's second sentence connected. "Pregnant? Emmy is pregnant? Im gone for how long? And she is already pregnant!? You guys didnt even wait for more corpse to grow cold before you were married! How can you do this to me. I though I was your mate!" Benji exploded at Axel. His blood was boiling and he could feel the hairs on the back of his neck stand up as he looked him in the eye.

Jenny stared hard at Axel as he actually admitted the truth, the whole truth. She didnt think he had it in him. She actually would of let pity cross her face if he didnt let Finn come and help him stand. "Oh stop being overdramatic Phoenix. Dont make this about you! Your acting like a baby. Now you feel guilty. You sure didnt feel guilty two years ago!" she shouted.

"You couldnt even tell me when I came? I have been here for a couple of hours and I had to find our from my daughter? How come you couldnt just come straight out with it? Yeah I wouldve been mad, but at least I wouldnt be making a fool of myself, thinking everything is fine and that my life is going to go back to normal. At least I wouldve known that my best mate was actually my mate and could tell me the truth!" Benjamin said.

Ben was shaking with fury. He couldnt believe Axel would do something like this to him. They had been friends forever. Every since they had met at Grandma Angelina's house, they had got along and laughed at everything together. It made the betrayal even worse. He then looked back at Emmylyne. His other best friend. He had loved her since he was 15. She knew his life from back to front and loved him for it. He had betted everything in his Gringotts vault that Emmy wouldnt have given up on him. He thought, she would never think that he was dead and would come looking for him. That was what he wouldve done if things were switched. That crushed him even more than the fact that she had gotten with his best friend.

When Axel told Benjamin that he was so sorry, Jenny walked over to Axel and got in his face. "Dont try and make this about you. Oh so you said sorry, good for you. That doesnt change what you did! Your a big bru-" But Jenny couldnt finish her sentence. What happened?

Jodie had, had enough. She had her wand out and pointed at Jenny. Luckily she was good with non-verbal spells. After placing a silence charm on her sister she said, "Thats enough Jen. Dont make this worse than it already is." She didnt flinch as Jenny gave her a death glare. Jodie couldnt believe how unresonably Jenny was being.

As Axel locked eyes with him, Ben stared hard and long at him. But the more he looked at his sea green eyes, the more angry he seemed to get. He broke Axel's graze and looked at Emmy. What was she going to do now?

Turning to reluctantly face the room, rather then the offwhite wall, Emmylyne's hands were still placed behind her; gripping the counter as if squeezing a lemon, trying to lift even the littlest morsel of anger.

Her gaze moved dangerously on Jenny, She had no part in this other then being a relative; but that didn't cut it either, this was ONLY between herself, Axel and Ben. "I NEVER wanted this to happen," She responded coldy. Her pulse had quickened, and fear flashed over the expression on her face. "I'm sorry Benji.." Those words were only words, but held geniune sincerety. Emmy knew it wouldn't help, but she meant it and couldn't stop it from coming out of her mouth; it was better off words then..spew.

The young woman couldn't believe this was happening. She wanted nothing more then to reverse time, stop ALL of it, stop both men from ever falling inlove with her and visaversa. Anything to fix this, but that wasn't possible. Emmylyne just wished it were.

A trembling hand raised and wipe at her face. Not wanting to be close to anyone, especially not in the middle of the room or inbetween Axel and Benjamin, she went closer to the dinning room table. Benji's words had stung, badly. She knew he was right, and definitely had a right to be mad. "Axel is not all at fault, this is MY fault. I'm sorry, Benjamin, you have to believe me..I never wanted to hurt you, I didn't know.." Ems barely said outloud, her voice was extremely faint and broken. She was feeling sicker and sicker by the moment, dizziness was the next thing; which didn't help at all when she tried to move, swiftly. Tension had overcome every bone in her body, her breathing as quite shallow.

"That's IT! I want everyone OUT of the kitchen!" Emmy cried, irritatedly. One hand on her hip, refusing shooting pain as best as she could and the other on her forehead. "This is not anyone's battle but my own, Axel's and Benjamin's. I want everyone else to leave the room, explore the house whatever. Just SHUT UP!"
