Romana didn't believe in what she was hearing. Sirius Black was asking her, Romana Moddy to dance with him?
'Of course!' she replied happily but still not beliving in the words she just heard.
She gave her hand to Sirius.

Teresa smiled when she saw that her friend was about to dance with the guy of her dreams.
Now I'll have to hear about this all the time...

Chris was disgusted, completely ashamed of the nerve of Severus. He walked straight up to Remus, "You had better get your scum sister away from Severus. She'll dirty up the slytherin house being the muggle lover she is," he spat.

"I know! It's a complete disgrace to all of the slytherins. I think we're going to have to sit down with old Snapey and see what's going on. No slytherin could possibly want to date a muggle loving gryffindor in their right mind!" Chris went silent, still taking in the new information.

Julienne had no idea where Andy was. She had a vague idea that he was lost in the crowd of stupefied dancers who had caught sight of Snape and Lupin.

She grabbed her purse and was heading toward the exit. Andy was right behind her.

Ozraya was a few steps before Julienne and she snarled at Lupin-ette's older brother.

"If I were, I would have killed off my younger disgrace of a sister. One of our Slytherin's is shacking it up with your little scum. She's not so innocent anymore, now she's been tainted with Slytherin blood that not even other Slytherin's will acknowledge as their own."

Julienne grabbed Ozraya's arm before she could say anymore. "Let's go. I have no more words to waste on these Muggle lovers and Mudbloods."

She dragged Ozraya out the door and toward the Slytherin dungeons before they could get a reply.

Chris saw Ozraya and Julienne walking out of the Great Hall. He thought they had the right idea, so he started to head back towards the dungeons, making sure to give Lupin a heavy bump on the shoulder and mutter "filth" on his way out. He followed the two slytherin girls back to the dungeons, looking down at the floor the whole way, and thinking to himself, what could Snape possibly be thinking?...trying to start inter-house relations, with gryffindor of all houses. Only when he sat down did the realization of Akari's rejection hit him. Well, i guess that's life, he thought to himself. He opened a Dark Arts book his father gave him, and would read until the rest of the Slytherins returned.

OoC: Oh wow, post a lot! Okay, I have to get my butt to rehearsal in a moment, so this is just a quicky post that will have to do for now until I get more time.

Remus, however, seemed to have gone temporarily deaf as he stood there with Teresa, and did not respond to anything she said. His eyes were fixed over at Astoria. Now, Remus had always gotten along quite well with his sister. He'd always watched after her, she'd look up to him, James and Sirius even watched after her and practically considered Astoria their sister too.

But this... what was this?! Though he had never outright gone and publically showed Snape how much he didn't like him, he'd never been all that fond of him, especially since he always got so nosy about the Marauders business. And now... Astoria and Snape were together? At a ball? Dancing? And hugging? He could feel the anger and hurt rising up inside him. How long had this been going on? Why couldn't she even have thought to mention it?

Taking a deep breath, Remus forced his face into a pleasant sort of expression and strode over to his sister. "Hello Astoria," he said with his forced cheerful voice, careful to avoid even looking at Snape. "I wonder if I might have a quick word with you?"

Romana couldn't believe that she was feeling Sirius's hand holding hers. She couldn't help herself from blushing.
'I love you' she whispered. She hoped he didn't heard her even though she knew the two of them were too close for him not to hear the 3 words she said.

Teresa watched Remus walking to his sister.
This isn't going to end alright she thought. She completly forgot that her best friend was finally having her dream coming true.
'Shouldn't we go stop him or something? Before he does something to Snape or to Tori?' she asked James worriedly. She knew that the two Lupins had to talk but she was scared that the two of them would end up fighting or something. Remus could be a real wolf when he wanted to. Even before the Full Moon nights.

Remus chose to ignore Akari this time, but knew that she really did have a point: he'd always been such a terrible liar.
He took a brief glance over at Snape, who surprisingly didn't look as he normally did; probably because he'd done something with the potions he knew how to make. Then he looked back to Astoria.
"Look, I just thought you would've... mentioned this to me," he said to her, trying quite hard not to start yelling his head off. After all... perhaps it wasn't that bad... they had only been at the dance. And dancing with each other. Very close. For who knows how long. And possibly kissing each other, which Remus really didn't want to think about.
"How... h-how long have you and, er, Snape been... together?"

Severus glared after Lucius and smiled when Astoria kissed him.Squeezing her hand, he looked at Remus.

"Listen, Lupin. It seems my friends and the people I thought were my family deserted me. Please, do not desert your sister. I have been condemned to exile in the Serpent's Den. Do not oust her."

Sirius' mind buzzed with unease as he danced with Romana. It didn't take him long to actually snap. Taking in a deep, unsteady breath, he looked sincerely into Romanas eyes with an apologetic expression, letting her go. "Look, Romana, there is absolutely nothing about you that I'm intending to stop this dance right now. I really need to take care of this, but I promise, promise you we will continue this dance, whether it still be the dance or not." With a grave smile, he turned and walked over to Remus, Astoria, Lucious, Snape, and whoever else gossiped around the rotten idiots.

His eyes were seering with breathable fire and he could only help but not directly run over and tackle Snape. He couldn't understand what held him back, since he never held back from punching one straight into his worst, ugliest enemy of all. By then he was shaking with anger as he stepped up beside Remus, not daring to glance at Serverus. As he approached his friend, he could smell the anger burning off of him, the poor boys emotions on high at a dangerous level he never saw except on Full Moon nights. It rarely unnerved him, or scared him, until seeing the way Remus looked just then. For the moment he was unable to speak a single word, with tension so high, he would be almost unstopable.

Really, it was digusting. Just the way Astoria looked over at Snape and would squeeze his hand. Of all the people she could've possibly dated, this was the last person Remus had ever expected...
"Oh," he said lightly, which was the only relatively polite thing Remus could think of to say in response to Astoria's words. "That's, erm, that's-" Horrible. "-nice."
And now Snape was giving him a bit of a life lesson. It'd really been quite a weird night in just a few minutes, hadn't it? Still breathing deeply as to keep himself somewhat calm, he noticed that at some point Sirius had come beside him. For a fleeting second, Remus had a feeling that if Sirius hexed Snape in any way, he wouldn't even care.
"You think I would really oust my own sister because she decided to date someone-" Despicable. "-like yourself?" No, no, Remus couldn't do that, not even if he was extremely angry with Astoria. No. He couldn't. That would be awful. And yet... a whole month. How? Why? Well, that seemed to explain now why she'd been so happy lately, and yet, so often missing somewhere and mysterious.

Just as Astoria was going to saysomething, Sirius came over and the look in his eyes, shocked and hurt her. She would of thought that they would of been able to put the past behind them She was their sister, and this was the man that she loved. She had told them this, danced and kissed this man infront of them. What would make them see this?

She looked up again as Remus spoke. She could see by the look in his eyes, that he was thinking one thing and saying another. "I am glad that you won't shaun me Remi, but I will be staying with Severus. I have finally found somebody who trusts me, likes me for me and loves me. Nothing will change that Siri, no matter how much you and Jami push it." She used her nick names for them. Jami, Siri and Remi. That had been her nick names for the three since her first year.

"Yeah, well...i guess it was worth a try," Chris said as he heaved himself next to Mahari. He was eager to get his mind off of Akari, so he changed the subject quickly. "So what do you think about Severus and that Lupin girl? It's completely disgusting if you ask me, a disgrace to us Slytherins."
