"Oh, my giddy god," Julienne gasped, she was disgusted and surprised. Severus Snape has the audicity to kiss her in front of all these people.

"That is just disgusting," commented Ozraya, "Snape looks absolutely disgusting. Kissing that Gryffindor. Touching her."

Chris didn't even notice who had taken Astoria's arm, it didn't matter at the moment. His heart was beating unusually fast as he looked at Akari, just standing there. Chris looked awkwardly at Akari, "er, Akari, would you like to go into the ball with me?" He felt his face go red, and he stared down at his feet, waiting for an answer.

OoC: This rp makes me think of West Side Story. The Jets are gonna have their way tonight...

"She's right, we should probably get going too," said Remus, watching Astoria leave before looking back at Tania and his friends. "By the time we get there, we'll have already missed a few minutes, but it should be okay." He led Tania over to the portrait hole, opened it, and smiled at her. "After you."

James had been mostly quiet, nodding in greetings to all his friends. He realized at somepoint that the others might not have even noticed his strange behaviour, for they were pretty caught up to. This was supposed to be fun... So why was he so nervous?

The only person the Potter boy had wanted to take was one certain Evan's girl, who declined his offer everytime he asked. Of course, Lily Evans had been much more warmer to him this year, everyone noticed that, and James thought that maybe she would at least say yes.

Nodding once again, at Remus's comment, though he was sure the latter didn't notice, James followed them out of the potrait hole. He gulped. He had seen Lily as she descended, and he had been speechless then.

The girl was simply breath-taking. What James didn't understand was why he had fell for her so hard. She was one of the girls, whom you just didn't ask out. She was Lily Evans, and years ago, that now seemed like centuries, James had pursued her for the challenge. And just like a fairytale, he had fallen madly in love with her, even if he wasn't willing to fully acknowledge it.

He was very pensive as he made his way down.

Maybe if all things failed, James could ditch his designer black robes and play a couple of harmless jokes and pranks?

I'm gonna dance with Remus, I'm gonna dance with Remus she kept singing to herself mentaly. She knew that if someone heard her they would think that she was a loony but that day she simply didn't care! She was happy!

What about Rom? Poor girl... she looked at Romana and gave her a hand sign to come with them too.

Romana watched Teresa and Remus together. Oh, how she wished to have someone to whom she could do the same. How she wished she could do it to Sirius.
When Teresa already left the Common Room she saw her 'telling' her to go with them.
Romana didn't want to be 'in the middle' of the romance but she also didn't want to stay alone.
You're gonna do this! Probably you'll find someone to dance with in the ball... she cheered herself up as she walked to Remus and Teresa. She stood behind Remus.

Chris gave a small smile to Akari, "well...i guess if you don't want to, then not at all..." He found himself blushing again, so he looked down for a moment. When he looked up, Akari was still looking at him. "Well then," Chris took Akari by the arm and led her towards the dance floor.

Julienne gritted her teeth as her brother squeezed her arm tightly.

"Forgive me, Lucius," she said, "I shall heed your words more often. And you were right. She was Gryffindor scum."

Sirius had managed to get himself dressed for a dance he really hadn't been all too hopeful for. Although he was the first of the others to be done, scoping out the ladies, he was just plainly itching to not be wearing his dress robes. With his money, at least, he did manage to by some rich looking ones, but it made him feel even more the goofier.

Arguing with himself, he glanced around awaiting the others and checking out for Astoria whom to him, maybe a personnal opinion really, seemed to be a little well.. off lately. His one and only, besides the others, little sister Tori. He could sense the shift in her demeanor, just like he could sense easily in the way peoples moods changed. Maybe a dog thing? Or his own acute special sense, he didn't know. He might bring it up to the others.. if they don't bring so up first..
