Ronan let out a triumphant shout catching the look. "HA! I knew it! Aww my big bwother is gwoing up and getting his first crush!!" He snickered. "No..." He grinned suddenly. "I think you should woo her with your amazing dancing abilities."

Zach made a face. "Shut up, Ronan. Let's just go inside or something before I lose my patience and leave." He didn't understand why he was as crabby as he was with his brother. He let out a breath and sighed. "Sorry. You don't deserve to get chewed out."

Ronan didn't seem all that fazed. "You're just annoyed that you now have a reason to stay and that I was right for once." He concluded with a grin. "So you gonna ask her to dance?"

"You can have it back after you dance with her." He smirked and shoved the book into his jacket. He had no doubt that his brother could get it away from him if he really wanted to but it might cause a bit of a scene.

I haven't got anyone to dance with Romana thought sadly. Yes, a few boys asked her but she always said no. She wanted Sirius. Not anyone else but him. She took a glance at her love. In her oppinion she was beautiful.
Stop thinking about him! You'll never get him! but still she had that little hope inside her that told her not to quit and that maybe he would ask her.

Teresa walked to Remus smiling. She was finally going to dance with him!!! She waited weeks for this and finally it was going to happend.
'When are we going?' she asked him still smiling a lot. She put one of her hands on Remus's arm and the other grabbing a piece of her purple dress. She was a bit nervous, she couldn't deny it.

Yeah Nat. They are all getting ready to go. Most are already there. Akari, Severus and Astoria are at the entrance, but in two groups. The Gryffindor's are still in the Common Room.

Lucius was sitting in a chair by the fire in the Slytherin common room. He looked at his suit, he moved his hand towards his neck and started pulling at the bow.
'I can't believe him wearing this' he thought.
Still debaiting if he should go to the dance, he wandered over to the portait.
'No i can't do it, i mean what is the point' his mind said.
He strolled back over to the chair and sat down, "should i go, or should i not" He asked himself.

Severus took a deep breath and swept over to Astoria. He took her hand and brought it to his lips and kissed it.

"Sorry to keep you waiting." He stepped back and looked at her dress. She was the reflection of perfection. But then again, he thought Astoria would look lovely in a potato sack.

"Shall we go in?"

Astoria smiled as the man before her. "For you, I would wait forever." She whispered as he kissed her hand. She pulled him into a quick hug before nodding. "I think so." She breathed in deeply. "Akari is still here?" She wanted to make sure that moral support was there if needed.

Taking one more deep breath Astoria practically floated through the doors. She smiled to her friends and waved, before turning to look behind her, for her date. She hoped her friends would be understanding, she did love Severus very much. She hoped her older brothers would behave. She took his hand and smiled, leading him to the dance floor. Not caring about the stares.

Julienne was once again in Andy's arms dancing to a very romantic song. He sudenly stopped, stepping on her foot. He was staring somewhere behind her.

"Argh! Andy, you stepped on my bloody foot!"

She turned around and saw what was distracting him.

"What the bloody hell . . . " Andy whispered harshly, "Is that Severus Snape dancing with a Gryffindor? Who is she?"

Julienne gritted her teeth in anger. She couldn't believe it.

"That's Lupin-ette, that is," Ozraya was by her side in a flash, "You should have listened to your brother, Julienne."

"I told you she was nothing but scum on the bottom of your feet. We're Slytherins, and your a Malfoy, the purest of all purebloods. You should have never lowered yourself to her standards. Am I right, or am I right?"

A tear slid down her cheek. She knew the answer before it even came out of her mouth. "Your right. This friendship will be over, I promise you that Merlow."

"True, she was high in the Gryffindor standards, but she just lowered herself. Now no one will dare associate themselves with her. A Gryffindor and Slytherin together? That goes against all the Slytherin rules. Especially since she has an abomination of a brother."
