Uh hey Julia. Basically Tori had a massive fight (jsut words) with Sirius and Remus. she hurt herself by diggin her nails into her palms. Lily helped her to bed and she fell asleep. She woke up from a bad dream where she was looking down her her grave and it said she had did at the age of 16 from a broken heart. She heard all of her friends and Severus arguing. This made her go into a state of shock.

This is why they are in the hopital wing. Everybody was telling her it was ok, but all she needed was Remus to say to come back to him. All of her friends had put their feelings about Severus aside to care for her.. Thats really what brought her round. However she kissed Severus infront of them, so I'm hoping for some fireworks.

Lily felt as if she was hanging over a cliff with only a thread to hold onto. Slowly, as if someone was unexpectedly lowering her a rope, she placed her arms around James' shoulders and clung to him like a last hope. Still crying, but no long with gut-wrenching sobs, Lily pleaded with James until she felt drain. She was suddenly very tired and wasn't sure that she'd be able to stand on her own when it came time to go back to the common rooms.

When Lily caught sight of Astoria sitting bolt upright with her eyes open she didn't even have enough energy to run to her and hold her hand. Her head lolled slightly on James' shoulder and she found herself only to be able to place a hand on Snape's shoulder and say, "You're a good guy... Severus."

As though reading her mind, James picked Lily up. She seemed like she would fall over any second, and he didn't want that, so this seemed pretty reasonable. He looked down at her as she spoke to Snape, surprisingly not feeling angry. At the moment, he didn't think he could feel anything but happy, as Astoria was now awake. Astoria.


He moved towards where she was, still with Lily, and smiled at her. She looked alright, maybe a bit disgruntled. "How are you?" he asked automatically, a look of concern now plastered on his face. "You had us so worried Tori, I was about ready to cry," he admitted, "I'm really glad you're up." Inside his head, he wondered why being so close to Snape wasn't setting him off into insult mode.. 'It must be the situation' his mind told him, and he agreed.

Severus nodded to Lily.

"Thank you, Lily. You are an exceptional witch." He said, a ghost of a smile on his face. Turning to Remus, he stiffly extended a hand.

"We need to call a truce. Not for us, but for Astoria's sake. When we fight, it hurts her. Can we put aside our differences for her?"

He left his hand out, unsure wheter or not the werewolf would take it.

OOC: I find that eating short posts is quite effective.

Lily couldn't help but smile at the compliment and nod her head in acknowledgement, unsure if she had the strength to speak. Unable to even take in the fact that Severus was extending the hand of friendship to Remus like he was, Lily leaned her head against James' neck, feeling safe and secure. The world in her mind of a place where the Marauders and friends were no long speaking or in touch seemed to have dissolved into the distance, replaced by a group photo-like image.

The backdrop was a simple one; green grass and a forest in the distance with mountains behind that. All of them were there. She and James were standing in the center, her arms around his waist and his arm around her shoulder. And everyone was smiling again. It was written on their faces that this night had forever been erased from their memories. It was quite clear that everyone was happy.

Lily smiled to herself slightly as her eyelids drooped and she felt herself falling into James' warmth and the faint smell of grass and cinnamon and floated around him. She felt a small sigh escape her lips as she dozed against his shoulder slightly and said, "I love the way you smell. D'you think we can go to bed now?"

Julienne and Ozraya were both out of breath once they reached the Hospital Wing. They burst and and immediatly made their way to Astoria's side.

"Bloody bejaysus," huffed Julienne, "We are so sorry we could not be here sooner, Tori."

"We just overheard someone -- *cough*Romana*cough* -- talking about you and we came as soon as we could -- oof!"

Julienne elbowed her in side. The girl honestly had no way of controlling her own mouth.

Ozraya spotted Severus. "'Ello, Severus, fancy meeting you 'ere."

"Oh course he would be here!" she frowned.

Ozraya tapped her on the shoulder with an index finger. "Look who else is here . . . . "

Gryffindors. "Oh," Julienne said without emotion, "Good after --" Ozraya took over and grabbed a red haired girl's hand and began to shake it vigorously and enthusiastically.

"I don't think we've met, Gryffies!" Ozraya bowed while still shaking the girl's hand, "My name is Ozraya Merlow and this is my lovely friend Julienne Malfoy. You might have heard of me though people in Slytherin know me as --"

" -- Mad mass murdering Merlow?" Julienne asked.

"No, that's my sister."

"Oh, could have fooled me. Your going to murdering everyone with your annoying personality."

Ozraya growled.

They were an odd pair. Indeed.

James smiled at Lily, "We can go soon," he whispered to her, knowing that she must be exhausted. This was really, very strange. Here he was, in the Hospital Wing, standing in front of his little sister, who he'd thought was going to die, and his two best friends who he no longer knew if he was speaking to, and to top it all off, there was Lily, the girl he'd loved from the moment her looked at her, in his arms; he couldn't help but feel good about himself, despite what his friends might be thinking of him.


He turned to Astoria again, and smiled at her as well. "I won't," he said firmly, glad he no longer needed to. "I'm so happy that you're feeling better." He watched interestedly as she spoke, not really sure what to say. James was in a bit of a sticky situation. He didn't want to go against his friends, and he was not liking the fact that his little sister was going out with his worst enemy. But, he felt bad for Tori, being ripped between love and friends, and he certainly wanted to keep Lily as a girlfriend. Perplexing. Before he said anything, he wanted to hear what Remus had to say, Sirius too. But he also wanted to know what Snape had to say to defend himself.

OoC: *decides that this rp now reminds her of the song 'We Go Together' from Grease... only because she was just in it* Eh, I feel like my post is a little weird because my fingers feel all rusty from not posting in a bit (aka, at least once a day)

As Astoria's eyes fluttered open, Remus's own eyes widened. "Oh, Astoria! You're alive!" he cried, and once Snape had removed himself from Astoria's embrace, Remus swooped down onto his sister, slightly shoving Snape out of the way as he threw his arms around her in both shock and happiness.

He then realized how strange this must've been after his period of anger and silence, but Remus could not deny it- his sister was alive and well. He was relieved. He was overjoyed. But still, he removed himself from the tight hug he had given Astoria and straightened back up, his eyes staring and darting around the room quickly as if his sudden outburst of joy had not just happened.

Looking properly back, he heard and saw Snape extend his hand of truce, and Remus stared down warily at the hand, moving not an inch, but his gaze now moving to Astoria. She wanted Snape. And Remus wanted what was best for Astoria. How could Severus Snape be what was best for Astoria? This- he- it- it didn't make sense. "I... I can't understand..." he began, but was cut off by a pair of Slytherin girls entering the Hospital Wing now and quite loudly making their presence known.

Julienne and Oz, they were called? It still appeared that Astoria was good friends with them. While one of them, Julienne, seemed as if she'd rather not be introducing herself to Gryffindors, the other, Oz, looked only too happy to be doing so as she thrust her handshake onto Lily. Remus took a small sidestep away from them. Not because of House Rivalries, more because he was taken aback by this sudden eccentricness from Oz. "Erm, hello."

OoC: I'm leaving for my vacation tomorrow, and I won't be back until the 19th. Sadly there won't be any computers for me to use (and if there were, my parents probably wouldn't let me go use them anyway). Can't you just see me already going through withdrawal? So, if someone wants to double as Remus they can, or they can just move him along with the plot. Bye! *hugs and chocolate*

*hugs you all before having to seriously run off the computer because she's been stalling to get offline* I'm sorry! I will miss you all! I really didn't want to go on vacation anyway, because now I'm going to miss my Grease cast party unless it's on the 19th. Normally we just go away for 4-5 days but this time it's 10.

Sirius hadn't taken the time to burst into tears just as everyone else practically did. The tightening in his chest didn't seem to die down, though he knew it was the tears that he was actually pushing back that was making him hurt with the need to breath. He couldn't. He just couldn't.. and that made him feel even more guilty and upset and annoyed with himself.

As he fought to control himself he could hear behind him the gentle voice of his little sister. Though he didn't turn around. There would be plenty of other people around her to make sure she was alright. Well, at least she sounded alright. And Snape.. Well.. there was nothing he could think or say to his long rival right then. Let alone could he truely turn around and face what happened. He felt selfish in a way. Also very lightheaded. Of course this was his own fault, though he wouldn't admit it.

With both his hands pressing against the wall, his back to the others, he used this as his support as he knees were weakening and he was struggling to choke down a flood of tears that had never seemed to fill him before. He still couldn't understand why he was like this. Couldn't understand why he couldn't cry then or even any other time it was neccessary to cry. His mind was blank and all he could think about was the repeating images reflecting in his mind, working like a broken record to cause him even more pain within him.

He felt awful, for some reason, for overreacting the way he did. Literally blacking out from the real world because his stubborn pride and ego couldn't take such a little hit as it did. But maybe it wasn't soo little after all. This was his only true little sister and he was being protective of her. Maybe a little too protective.

Guilt, annoyance, greed, selfishness, pain, suffering. All emotions stirred within him as he started to slide down the wall, using the one beside it to place his back against as he finally slide himself to the floor. With darkened, blank eyes that he closed tightly, one hand slightly, unnoticably, clinging at his chest, he finally relaxed and was lost in his own word because he did not care to hear what Remus would propose back to Severus. He didn't care what all the others were doing or saying. Rejoycing or crying. He also didn't care whether someone noticed him or not.

But what he did care about was that the scene was over. And Astoria Lupin was still alive.

Ozraya and Julienne turned to see none other than Remus J. Lupin, Astoria's brother introducing himself.

Ozraya let go of the red head's hand and took Remus's in her own. "Remus J. Lupin? My name is Ozraya Merlow and my lovely friend is Julienne Malfoy. How do you do?"

Julienne nodded with a tight smile, remembering to call a truce for Astoria's sake.

Severus watched as his hand was rejected, and pulled it back to his side stiffly. If Lupin did not want to be a man ad accept his truce, fine. He would still be nice. He didn't need Lupin to acknowledge him. In fact, it made it easier.

He looked across the room to Black, who was set in stone. No show of emotion. Severus watched, waiting for something to come from his enemy. Onyx eyes watched as Black shrank down the wall, clutching his chest. Severus rolled his eyes. FLair for dramatics, this one has.

He watched tentatively as Julienne and Ozraya talked to Lupin. What would he do? Would he reject them like he had Severus, or would he give them some sort of acknowledgement? Time would tell.
