Sirius could only cringe at the words fought back by Astoria to her only brother. It was all tearing down his best friend to pieces and all he did was sit there and watch. How long would it last until Remus exploded on his own sister?

Near so himself, he finally gave a gaze over at Tori. His eyes were misty with dark clouds, his jaw clenched and set, though blood still poured down it. "Don't you ever, EVER, say that you know Severus Snape. Because you don't." Gripping the chairs armrests, his knuckles pale, he was ready to jump up and 'walk' over to his little sister, wanting to shake her profusely until she got the point. Though he only remained still, with a low, calmed voice.

"Have we not warned you about that man.. that thing. The thing you can't even call a man!" His voice raising with fury and anger increasingly, though knowing it would solve absolutely nothing. "You have abosolutely NO idea what that disgrace of flesh has done or said to US!!" Now he was shaking, rage that was uncontrolable had taken him, yet he remained seated. He didn't want to hurt Astoria.

"Do you know what it's like for someone just to walk up to your face and talk about you're friends, yourself, even your family in a way UNIMAGINABLE? NO! You don't! Well I Do!!" By his last words his voice was cracking. He could still remember such times when one Severus Snape talked about his family with such a language, he knew Snape would've been dead had it not been for Remus himself.

*gasps* No offense to Cola or Chloe

"At least I know something about the man. You hold some childish grudge and hold it tight so that you can control Sirius Black. You are a hypocrit. You tell Severus off, and hurt him for trying to put things behind him. You won't let him! What does that say about you?"

She was breathing hard by now, and her calm exterior had gone. She had moved herself off of the wall, and was standing a few metres away from it, as if this distance would save her from hitting the wall behind her hard with her fist to take away the pain and anger.

"To me Sirius." Her voice was silky and lower than ever before. "He is more of a man than you, Jami and Remi are." That had to strike a nerve. "He accepts that he had made mistakes in the past and is trying to put them right. He sees past the Stereotypes set and sees the people that let them be seen."

She glared again. "I, however, wouldn't expect any of you to understand. You only think about yourselves. What about the comments and hurtful things you have said and done in retaliation. Ever thought about who started them in the first place. I remember fine, because I laughed to start with. It was in my first year. You started it. Not Severus."

She stopped herself from moving over to her brother to smack him one right in the eye. It would serve him right. Instead, she just dug her nails into her palms, and winced only slightly when her sharp nails began to draw blood.

OOC: Tori asked me if I would play Lily for this RP, so I suppose I will. Hope no one minds. I read the last two pages and Tori filled me in on the rest, so if anything's wrong, tell me and I'll change it.

Lily stood stockstill in one place, not daring to move for fear of drawing unwanted attention to herself. She nearly flinched with Astoria brought her name into the argument and glanced around the room to make sure that no one was looking in her direction. She wanted so badly to help Astoria out on the subject of Severus, but she couldn't bring herself to stand out or speak to her. Her friend may be all right with changing everything she'd known in an instant, but it wasn't so easy as that for her.

Chewing nervously on her fingernails, she battled with herself as she fought to join in on the good side, whichever one that was. Help her! Help Astoria tell them! No! I can't do that. James would never speak to me again. Dash James! If he can't handle it, he's not worth it. But we've only gotten together just this year. I don't want to ruin it so soon. Flaming Bludgers, grow a backbone!

The blood accumulating on Astoria's hands seemed to shock Lily into action and, forgetting every reason for not helping her friend, she jumped forward and began to speak. "I've got something to say," she said suddenly, before anyone else could speak. "I've got something to say," she repeated, "and you're going to listen." She looked at Sirius, James, and Remus before she continued, a look etched into her features that clearly read, 'if you know what's good for you.'

"Astoria has made a decision that no one else can make for her and it's killing her inside," Lily said. "Don't you see how much she hates having to defend herself to you... animals?" She looked at James with this and tried to hide the disappointment in her eyes. "She shouldn't have to stand persecution and she doesn't need the kind of stress you're putting on her."

Lily walked over to Astoria and softly lifted one of her hand up. Slowly, ever so slowly, she pulled the girl's fingernails from the palms of her hand and tried not to cry as she did so. Ripping off a piece of cloth from her shirt, she wrapped Astoria's hand gently with it and repeated the process with the left hand. "We can go upstairs?" Lily whispered to Astoria, offering the only kind of peace she could. "I have a Healing spell?"

Teresa was felling highly confused. She wanted to be on Remus's side but on the same time... what about Astoria? Friend or Love? She didn't know what to do. In one hand, Astoria was in love and there was nothing wrong against it. On the other hand, she was in love with a Slytherin who a few weeks ago was her enemy.
'I'm going to bed' she annouced getting up. She gazed at Remus but said nothing. Then she walked to the girls's dorm. She got in it and dressed her pyjamas not talking wth Lily and Astoria. Finally she laid down on her bed and closed her eyes. Unfortunally, she didn't fell asleep as she wanted to.

OOC: Tori said you posted a split second before her so I'm going to play it like you posted after her, okay?

"But you don't understand, Tia," Lily sobbed again, trying to explain; trying to make her friend know how torn she'd felt. "I wanted to choose the boy and I feel terrible because I've been friends with you longer than I've been dating James and it shouldn't have taken me so long to come to my senses."

She was about to say something more when Teresa came into the girls' dormitory and changed into her pajamas before silently going to bed. "Teresa came back," Lily said softly, removing herself from Astoria's shoulder slowly, "and no sign of the others." Turning from Astoria, Lily looked over to the bed that belonged to Teresa and asked timidly, "Teresa?"

Sirius sat in silence now, forbidding to look at Lily. It was obvious what side she had choosen, and he was unsure of how James would take it.

As the blood still dripped from his mouth he sat there, letting his mind slip into a darkness. He wouldn't say anything else, and had nothing more to say. Hurt as he was, he'd never come to believe that Severus could 'change his ways' or even 'amend what had been said'. It was unlikely. It was impossible. You can't expect to take back what you've already said. It doesn't work that way.

All he was left to dwindle upon, feeling alone, and the eerie silence creeping around him and forming a barrier against the others, was how he wasn't a 'man' anymore compared to Snape. His own sister just didn't understand. She couldn't begin to understand.

He let his hands as the were, more relaxed and not as ghastly pale. Unbothered with the fact that his formal robes were soaked in blood, he felt frozen. Uncapable of comprehending the way that his own little sister had betrayed him. Them.. had she betrayed Remus and James too?

Tired. Suddenly he felt tired. Maybe the loss of blood. Maybe the current events that left his mind starched blank. His eyes became heavy, though they were fixed now upon the fire afront of him, keeping him warm and comfortable.

'Yes?' Teresa asked as she heard her name. She sat on the bed and looked at Lily. She was feeling so bad. She wasn't being the friend she always wanted to be. She was being a Slytherin. Afterall, she was dating with a werewolf! So why not with someone like... like Snivellus? Probably, actually, for sure that Astoria was feeling worse than her.


ooc: can Tess continue to be Tori's friend and Rom be angry at her? Oh! And is Romana connected to Mad-Eye's family?

Remus glared over at Astoria's retreating back, biting down on the insides of his cheeks with such force that it felt like he might tear them off. With his teeth still gripping the insides of his cheeks, he nodded toward Teresa as she said she was going to bed.

To be honest, he hadn't really expected Lily to stand by them anyway. She'd never been a fan of what the Marauders had done to Snape, and she'd always been on with that 'finding your true love' business. As if Severus Snape could ever be anyone's idea of true love. Maybe a bat's or something, but how could he ever have been Astoria's?

And though there was no doubt that they had often started messing with Snape, Snape was always more than ready to continue. No, he never tried to finish it, or just stop it. He just continued it. And so that meant that if Astoria thought the Marauders were a bunch of bullies, than Snape was equally so. Besides, what was all that rubbish about Snape trying to fix his mistakes? As far as Remus had seen lately, he hadn't exactly been raising the friendship flag.

He stood up and walked back over to the sofas and arm chairs, where Sirius and James resided. Leaning onto a couch, he said, "I think I'm going to bed. Maybe when we wake up tomorrow, this will all have been an extremely horrific dream. Or I can go drown myself in chocolate. Both of those sound rather nice at the moment." Realizing that he had been speaking through gritted teeth, he stopped doing so and added, "You think you'll be okay, Padfoot? You're all bloody. You should see the Hospital Wing."

Sirius sat in a state of confinement until interrupted by Remus. He hadn't noticed his friends movements until he was right beside him. The only thing he could think of to respond to was, "Are you alright, Moony?" His words were soft, though careful, and he took no time to turn his head to look.

Only assuming Remus would take light of the turn of events, he was doubtful that Remus himself could control a burning anger. It wasn't as if he asked for it all to happen. It just did. And now, there were arguments, hatred, hatred, and just more hatred boiling around the people he well, 'loved'.

His eyes suddenly shifted to see his friend standing there looking just as tired as he felt. He couldn't really move and was too tired to argue any more. More or less bring up the subject. But he also worried, though he always told the others worrying was for whimps. Sighing he lightly shook his head, making the growing dizziness speed up then stop at lightheadedness.

"Nah, I'll live for now.." He replied lastly before turning his head back to the fire. He wouldn't stop nor blame Remus for wanting to go to bed. It was getting late and there was another day full of the drama that was sickening to his stomach.

Therefore I Will Not Be Able To Role-Play For That Long Unless There Is An Computer Where I Am Staying.
