"Thank you," replied Remus quietly to Teresa, and he spoke no more after that as he walked, a bit quicker than usual, up to Gryffindor Tower. He'd been up this path so often and so many times that he didn't even have to think about where he was going, which was good, because Remus wasn't even thinking about that at all.
Images of Snape and Astoria having little cuddle and kissing sessions kept flashing through his mind, as well as the scene in the Great Hall earlier. He grumpily said the password to the Fat Lady, and was either too angry to hear or just chose to ignore her query on why he looked so furious on a marvelous night for a ball.
He looked out onto the common room, and then had one of those feelings where you have so many ideas on what you can do, but none of them seemed contenting to Remus. He wanted to go upstairs to sleep, but he was wide awake and felt no need. Nor did he think he wanted to go up there at the moment. He could go sit next to the fire, but the hot flames would just put him back in mind of the heated argument that had gone on, and how Snape and Astoria probably had 'flames of passion' for each other or something. And for once, the squashy sofa and arm chairs did not seem as comfortable as they had always proved to be.
Remus paced around the common room for around thirty seconds, speaking not a word and having no idea what he was doing, before he finally decided on walking over to a window and sitting on the stone cold ledge beneath it, staring out into the night.

Astoria nodded but placed her spare hand on Severus' chest to stop him. She looked up at him, just looking. "You do love me don't you." She said, so softly, she was scared he wouldn't of heard her. She tried to see into his heart through his eyes.
It might of seemed like she was wanting to know the obvious, but she wanted to hear it once mroe before you walked into the Lion's den. Where her 'three' older brothers would be waiting for her. Where their girl-friends would be backing them not, not considering how they would feel, if the situation was reversed. | |

Astoria moved her hand on her chest to his cheek. "I just.." She looked away. "I just wanted to make sure. Make sure that we were in this together..." She looked back at him. "Probably a stupid question, as I already knew you loved me."
She gave him a week smile and moved infront of him, so she could hug him again. "Just wanted to make sure that you'd fight for us, if any of my three older brothers say or do anything to harm you or me." She whispered into his neck. | |

They had continued walking. | Not in the mood to talk about the subject anymore and feeling the way James was really feeling at the moment, he just merely shrugged his shoulders. "I doubt it, Prongs. I really do.. You just see the way they..." His words dropped as he calmly sighed. "No, Remus is already in the Common Room." With his hands stuffed into his pockets they'd reached the portrait of the fat lady. "James, what's the password?" He mutted subconciously to his friend for he almost didn't realize they had made it thus far. | |

Romana saw Teresa and Remus getting in the Common Room. But she didn't speak. She had the same pain as they did. Probably not as big as Remus's. She stared at the fire not knowing what to think, what to say or what to do. It was hard for her to be in the middle of so much tension and sadness and anger.
Teresa left Remus do what he wanted to. She knew that it would be better to leave him alone for a few time. If she pressured him to do something than he could be mad at her or something and she did not want that to happend. | |

Both Julienne and Ozraya nodded and excused themselves. They walked back to the Slytherin Common room and made their way up to their dorms.
"Well," said Ozraya, "This was an unexpectedly day. I say we get some sleep and I'm sure by tomorrow this all will just blow over."

Severus swept through the shadows silently towards the seenth floor. Once he arrived, he slipped insider the room of requirement and looked around. Inside was a bed, a set of robes, and a pair of pajamas.
He changed into the pajamas and climbed into the bed, but not before warding the door shut. He set his wand on the nightstand and closed his eyes to sleep. | |

Lucius waited for Snape to return to the Slytherin common room, but he never did. Lucius looked at the clock avove the fireplace and noticed that the time was 1:00.
'I better go to bed, I'll get him, he has to return sometime' He thought to himself.
He climbed up the stairs to the boy dorm, he reached his bed and jumped straight into it. After a couple of minute he fell into a deep sleep. | |

Sirius hadn't the mind to think of the password at the moment, yet it suddenly occured to him with the silent and most likely thoughtful James. With the portrait laughing at him, he gave the password abit forcefully and open did the portrait, nearly pushing him over.
Muttering a few incoherent curses, he immediately went off to perch himself in his usual seat infront of the fire. Not, of course, before noticing Astoria.
At first, he wasn't going to say anything but as she was in such a hurry with a rushed goodnight, he minded to stay calm and at least say something.
"What's so great about it?" It was audiable enough for her to hear it, but soft enough for it to be dark and hurt. He didn't take his eyes from the fire for a second, and he was only bothered with the wretched face of Severus Snape kissing his little sister even more.

Astoria stopped, five steps away from the dormatories. She sighed really quietly as her older brother spoke up. She turned around and walked back down the stairs slowly, until she was leaning against the wall at the bottom of the stairs.
Crossing her arms across her chest, she looked at Sirius, and the rest in the room. "About what?" She asked, just as quietly, her tone just as dangerous. She looked around the common room and saw the longing in her friends eyes.
Sighing she looked at every one of them in turn. "I'm here. I'm not going anywhere. Ask away." She said with the same tone as before. | |
