"er, well uhh" Chris stuttered. He didn't want to admit it, but the truth was that Mahari's words had struck him very hard. Wasn't it true that he would be a male his whole life, and not a slytherin? But still, she was in Gryffindor, a mugglelover. It was all very difficult for Chris to handle, so he merely grunted at Mahari. He could however, sense that she knew she had made an impression on him, and it was quite annoying to him.

Remus continued to stare at Astoria, Snape, and Akari, and back again. This dance was stupid, really. If it hadn't been for Teresa, he might not've come anyway.
Ah, the nicknames. Remus knew them well. Astoria had always called himself and his two best friends by them. But now, Remus was getting slightly annoyed with them. His deep breathing, which he had been doing as to try and keep himself calm, was speeding up now. The only thing worse than his sister and Snape together was Akari, who he really wished would go drown herself in the lake right now.
"Fine," said Remus suddenly, his voice rising. "Fine, I'll just go then, if that's what you want. Leave you to your peace. Let you two have your snogging session." Remus didn't know who was speaking those words that were now coming out of his mouth, and he wasn't sure he knew his sister either, but just as he was going to turn on his heel, she was now running off, out of the Great Hall.
"Oh, great, now she's upset," Remus mumbled. "Well, go on Snape. Go after her. Go comfort your girlfriend now, I'm sure she's waiting for you."

Surprised with himself, he Sirius Black, was able to withhold from killing someone that minute, only stood and glared. He had still no words to say, only stormy eyes and pale skin. Finally he snapped. Really snapped. And what was worse it was a girl he snapped on.

It would be too late for him to do anything about Snape.. he'd leave that to Remus, who was just as broken as himself, but Akari was a different story. Walking up to her, he grabbed her shoulders and menacingly shook her, squeezing her shoulders until his knuckles tensed and were a ghastly white. Never before had he felt so angered.. well.. maybe.. with his whole family.. but this was a different story.

"Say one more word and it'll be the last thing you'll ever say." He was darker than usual.. a darkness that crept around him, forming an auroa of hatred that anyone then that didn't know him, would assume him Slytherin. His past was enough to trigger any streaks of rage, but this.. this was incredulous. He had had enough. More than he was able to stand. Venting his rage, he would knock the girl unconcious least she say another word about either Tori or Remus. Or even if she was being reasonable..

Julienne walked a different path. The boys had gone back to the Slytherin Common Room. She knew that Ozraya was behind her. Sitting onto a stair she sighed.

"Do you think they bought that little act?" Julienne asked Ozraya, "I hated having to act that way to them. I had to make it so that Lucius would actually believe me."

Ozraya nodded. "It looked believeable."

She sat next to Julienne. "You know, I am your friend, Julienne. I will stand by you even if you make a decision that I am completely against. but I'm proud of you."

Julienne grinned. "Your proud of me?"

Ozraya grinned back. "Of course I am! Your standing for what you think is right, not by our silly Slytherin rules or the Malfoy family laws. I just hope Lupin-ette and Snape would have looked through the whole act. To tell you the truth, I actually find Snape's company quite amusing. He has a very dark sense of humor, so I don't fancy having him believe that he's been shunned from everyone of us."

"Lupin-ette is intelligent, she should have seen through our little drama show."

"I hope so," Julienne said quietly, "At this time, I don't really think it would be wise to abandon them both. Their life for now on is going to be a living hell."

The sight of Astoria Lupin running out of the hall and toward them surprised them.

"Astoria!" Julienne yelled after her, when she caught up to her she laid her hand gently on her shoulder, "I wanted to say, that I would always be your friend, even now. I just hope that you didn't really take our little show seriously."

Ozraya wheezed behind them, tryuing to catch up. "Yeah, your not exactly my favorite person, Lupin-ette. But that doesn't mean that I don't respect you. Tell Snape that if he needs any help to come to ol' Merlow. I'll hook 'im up!"

Julienne glared at Ozraya. "Could we please not stray this conversation to illegal magical products, please!?"

OoC: Um, okay, harrys*chocolate*cherry, this is a serious rp, and you're disrupting it right now. If you want to go talk about Harry Potter, there are other forums for that, NOT in the middle of a roleplay, thank you!

In an instant, Sirius found himself on his knees, a wand directly at his throat. But would he stop there? No.. he wouldn't. Glancing up at her, he smiled. A smile that should not be pasted on the lips of Sirius Black.. a smile taught by his father but never used before. Not until now.

"You're going to challenge me because I told you to shut that wide whole on your face huh? I'm not about houses.. I'm about the people in them!" His voice low, a growl that would surpress into a quickness he had become accustomed to. Standing as he pushed her wand away from him, he gripped her wrist and twisted forth as far away as she could not strike a blow..well.. or so he thought.

He wasn't about the wand fighting, he was about snapping bones in two.

Remus watched as he realized that Sirius was getting very vicious himself, but much more than Remus could have been. Sirius shook and squeezed Akari, clearly ready for a fight, as was Akari, who was really a startlingly good opponent.
"No, Sirius just-" Remus began automatically, used to having to stop Sirius and James from cursing everything they met. But this time, Remus changed his mind. "Nevermind, carry on. I really don't care anymore." He rubbed his temple; he was starting to get quite a bad headache now, and stumbled over to the nearest chair and sat down on it. From his position in the chair, he could watch Sirius and Akari punching their guts out at each other, as well as try and think through the abomination that was the relationship between Astoria and Snape.

OoC: Sorry, but I must go now! And just when the rp is really getting good. No rehearsal for me tomorrow, so hopefully I'll be able to be online longer. Good night!
