Zyra laughed too. "Yeah...It would be...I hate interrupting people's private thoughts...but I just can't help it..."

Jalane's just sitting on the bed, just listening to Zyra and Baki talking.

"Oh my, you can read minds Zyra? You mean like telepathy?"

hhmm... i guess nothing to worry about if you're not hiding anything, she thought.

"So willingly or unwillingly, huh? Too bad you can't use it on professors in school, since they've learned to block out mindreaders..."

She remembered reading about it and attempting to do it on a professor once, and got in big trouble - bad case of detention - when the professor realized someone was trying to read her mind. Since then, she stopped trying to learn how to do it, so it never really went anywhere. Must be nice to have natural telepathy though, instead of "learning" it.

"So have you tried actually talking to people in their minds? Or can you just hear thoughts?" She's still awestruck by this girl who has an amazing power. She has real potential, that one, she thought.

"Wow! I didn't know that!" said Eliza, awestruck. And has a speechless, happy expression printed on her face. "Answer Ms. Jalane's question. Can you talk to people through their minds?" she added.

Dominique looked for Steve. "It seemed like I'm the only one left unpaid." she grinned. She gave Steve the right amount and sat back to her chair, continued reading her book.

stepping outside of her Muggle Mom's house, Nica took a quick glance at the night sky.

Another clear summer night.

She quickly took the path that leads to the sidewalk but, realizing that's she's not in a hurry, she slowed down.

As she reached the sidewalk, she quickly flung out her wand and after few seconds, she put it back into her duffel bag.

Bus, bus, bus.

Jen woke up with another bump on head. She had not noticed she fell asleep. Stifling a yawn, she looked for the conductor because she wanted another cup of hot chocolate.

The Knight Bus screeched to a halt... Steve, a passenger is waiting Ernie said. Im on it Steve nodded. So he quickly went out and found a lady with red hair... Welcome to the Knight Bus, emergency transport for the stranded witch or wizard. Just stick out your wand hand, step on board and we can take you anywhere you want to go. My name is Steve Shunpike, and I will be your conductor this evening. Goodevening to yah Steve greeted.. He lend her a hand to help her aboard the bus. Hello, where is your desired destination? as soon as Steve asked that question, the bus revved up and they go...

Nica took the conductor's hand and as soon as she stepped onto the bus, she said

"Leaky Cauldron, please."

She had her mind made up mere seconds before the great purple bus has appeared in front of her that she'll buy a new broomstick first before heading to Manchester.

"Is... Is the bus crowded tonight?" she asked.

As they were traveling.. Oh, another passenger heading for the Leaky Cauldron.. that would be for eleven sickles my lady.. Steve said.. Leaky Cauldron hmmm... I wonder whats up there tonight Steve thought as he was waiting for their new passenger's payment. You're our tenth passenger.. everybody is here at the first level of the bus Steve smiled.

Zyra just looked at the expression on her friends' and cousin's face when she told them she could read minds.

Eliza stared at her cousin. hmm.. Eliza thought. Maybe she could read what i'm thinking at the moment. Eliza had this expression that looks like she's really thinking hard. What am i exactly thinking about? she thought.

Zyra smiled at her cousin. "You're thinking about what you're thinking about, silly!" she said.

"right."

Nica paid the condutor eleven Sickles and made her way to the back of the bus where she found and an unoccupied bed. She put down her bags on the floor and reluctantly sat on the bed. She was just starting to feel comfortable when she heard a girl voice saying "You're thinking about what you're thinking about, silly!" Looking around, she found out that the voice came from a girl who's sorrounded by a couple of people.

"Oh," Eliza exhaled. "Wait you just read my mind!" she said in a stupid manner anyone could imagine. "Cool," said she, nodding her head.

Steve took her payment and said thank you, if you need something, ill be there at the front, dont hesitate to call me. I have to talk to Ernie.. hope you get to enjoy this rough ride. Steve smiled and walked to the front.... he's back talking to Ernie again.

Zyra laughed. "Well with you guys getting excited about me being able to read minds...you're giving me positive vines 'bout it so I can read minds unwillingly..." she said smiling. then she looked at her cousin. "So you guys better not think any deep secrets coz i might just find out!" she said grinning and taking the last sip of her chocolate.

"Ok," said Eliza, "thanks for the tip." She was nodding then stopped, "You're not yet done with your drink?" she said in bewilderment. And the bus gave a nasty jerk.
