Hermione gave Artemis a watery smile and took a deep breath, rying to calm herself down. "I'm sure you two have enough problems already. You don't have time to bother with my boy troubles." she admitted, but mentally kicked herself. If they want to help, let them help "On second thought..." she trailed off and paused, hesitant as to whether she should burden them with her troubles.

Ginny jumped back as the stairs turned into a slide. She stood on the slide and it turned into steps again she went down to see who did it. "Harry? Why were you coming up? You know this happens," She said to him sort of sickened at the moment. You could see redness in her eyes.

Artemis shook her head. "Please? Me and Troubles. Two words never together. Just talk about it. It helps and I'm here. I swear I won't be like Diana and blabber. I'm much better than that one." She said and waited for Hermione to start. She knew what this was about mentally. She remembered reading through Hermione's book of life. She wouldn't tell Hermione that. That was one mistake that Artemis had made that no one but Hermes would know about.

Dite shouted "Posiedon" because the merpeople were coming.

Hermione sighed heavily and began. "Okay, basically, Hermes and I like each other...a lot, but downstairs, just now, Ron said that he was loved me. I couldn't believe it. I mean, sure there might have been an attraction between the two of us, but he's never made a move and last year when the Yule Ball came and he was going totally crazy over a Beauxbaton's girl, I figured that he wasn't interested. Then for this evening's dance, he was all over Aphrodite and asked her out, so I saw this as another indication of being uninterested, and I turned my attention to Hermes. We got together, but now Nike is angry because she likes Hermes also, but he doesn't feel the same way." she heaved a huge sigh as she finished. Artemis was right. It did feel good to get it off her chest, but it didn't make her feel any less guilty.

Artemis nodded. "Thats it see...which one do you love though? Or think you can love? Cause thats the one you should go with Hermione. You've known this Ron bloke for a long time I suppose and Hermes for less but don't let that affect your mind. Its all about feeling here. Which one do you feel for? Did you like this Ron guy? Or was it just an attraction?" She asked her swallowing each word. I'm so sorry Hermes... She said in her mind knowing that he would most likely hear her. She then blocked off her mind after that so no one could enter it.

Ginny shook her head. "How about I give you a hint? Next time you want to come up the stairs come with a broom." She said and shook her head once more. "Never you mind what I was doing. I'm just really worried for Hermione. Ron said it at the wrong time and a tad bit too late. I just feel really bad for her." She said lightly brushing off a spot on his shoulder he hadn't brushed off.

As Hermione listened to Artemis, memories came rushing back. Some of them with Ron and others with Hermes. Artemis was right, she hadn't known Hermes for a long time, but that didn't mean anything in the case of love. She had so much fun with Hermes but Ron had his good points too. Oh, I can't deal with this right now! She swallowed hard. "Of course I like Ron, he's one of my best friends, but Hermes came in and swept me off my feet. I've never had these types of feelings for anyone before, but I can't tell if it's because of a crush or if it's real. I can't say that I love either one of them though. I can't say that." she shook her head hard, tears beginning to flow once again.

Dite got up from the shore. She walked up to the castle. She got to the dorm and fell right on the bed next to the girls.

Athena layed back on her bed when Artemis went to talk to Hermione. She sighed, remembering how horrible the night had been. She felt better, but just a little. She was still sad, but not as depressed as before she had talked with Artemis.

Artemis looked to Thena and wondered if she was going to talk anytime soon. "Hermione..I have to tell you something..I know your probably going to kill me for this but I believe it might help you. When I was..when I left for a day I went up to Olympus to read up on you...I read about you and I read about your..attraction to Ron. I read up on Ron and I'm not sure if I should tell you this but he was really scared of being rejected by you. He decided to go for 'prettier' girls like Dite and Fleur because he knew what the outcome would be. He was scared of his feelings for you and.." She said shaking her head. She felt like she was betraying Hermes her head felt like it was about to explode. "I can't say anymore I'm sorry. I'm not permitted to." She said waiting for Hermione to yell at her. She hadn't felt that her reading up would become useful at a point. It had oddly enough. She saw Dite walk in and nodded to her. "Hermione I know you can't differ right now. Just..which one do you imagine growing old with. Though I have to tell you right now. Hermes will never grow old. He will only get older. He will never grow old...and after...after your death I'm pretty sure you'll..make him a shell..I don't mean to sound mean in this Hermione but there are too many things to conside with a mortal immortal relationship. I'm all for you and Hermes but I know Zeus isn't." She could feel by the massive headache. "At one point Dite had been against them too. With Eros and Psyche I'm sure you've heard of it." She said holding her head in her hand.

Ginny nodded. "It cripples you sort of doesn't it?" She scoffed and shook her head. "Harry...when is it all going to be over?" She asked kind of pointlessly. She watched Dite go up the stairs and heard talking inside. Good Hermione was releasing her emotions that were pent up inside her.

Dite sat on the bed.
"It was fine atfirst but then we went across the lake and the merpeople attacked." she said weakly.
She felt her head.
"I don't feel well."

Hermione pressed a hand to her forehead. This was all getting to be a big headache. As she heard Artemis speak about reading up on her, she glanced up sharply, but didn't say anything. As she heard about Ron's true feelings her heart began to break. He was scared? she thought. She continued listening and realized that she never thought about the immortal-mortal relationship. Hermes was just a guy to her, a handsome, sweet guy. "I really don't care about the mortal-immortal relationship." she said "But as for the one I could see myself growing old with..." she paused and then blurted out. "It would be with Ron." As she uttered these words, she felt her heart completely break and she felt as though she'd never be happy again. "I can't believe I just said that." she whispered, her throat constricting. "I don't want to hurt Hermes or Ron."

Athena stared at the ceiling, ignoring the sounds she heard that were Artemis and Hermione talking.

Artemis couldn't help it. Tears leaked out. "I'll go take Hermes away don't come down yet. I'll send a message to you if you want. I know..it hurts right now but I promise you it'll go down. I'll help you through this," She said hurting for Hermes who was like her brother. She remembered chasing him around the hot springs with living scorpions and it made her sad for him. She looked up and the tears disappeared as soon as they flowed down her cheeks. "I'm behind you Hermione don't worry." She said and hugged her and forced her skin to untear. She looked as if she had never been crying at all.

Ginny nodded. "Harry who do you like?" She asked idly and sat down on the steps and cast a charm so he could sit down as well if he wanted. "You can sit down now. You won't slide." She said to him smiling. That was it. That was her moment. She would never ever again like Harry Potter. Or she would stop herself atleast. She would be friends with him...because that was the only way it was easy for him and her.

Dite fell asleep. She was tired.

Athena sighed. She sat up and pulled a mirror out from under her pillow. After making sure she looked ok, Athena stood up and walked downstairs to the common room and sat down by the fire. I'll go back up when I think they're done talking, she decided. She sighed again, staring into the flames but not seeing them.

Ginny laughed. "Well if you 'liked' Ron I'd be rather scared. Well not that I'm saying I'm against gay people or anything..it'll just come as a very big surprise." She said smiling. She watched a girl by the name of Athena come downstairs and looked to Harry with a question in her eyes. "Should we go up? I mean...like..well should we go up?" She asked sort of nervously. She was scared about Hermione she didn't want her friend to be all depressed and..stuff.

Artemis watched Athena walked out and looked to her confused. "Thena!" She said to her and shook her head. She'd deal with Thenas problems when she went downstairs to get Hermes. "So Hermione...its your call." She said to her wishing Nyx was here oddly enough to crack some sarcastic comment. It would be comforting.

Dite stood up.
"I'm going back to Mount Olympus."

"No" Hermione shook her head. "Don't take him away. I need to talk to him and Ron, alone." she said pointedly. She then lapsed into silence, her mind whirling with thoughts. What am I even going to say?

Artemis nodded. "Whatever you wish. Someway I can make this easier just tell me." She said truthfully and decided Hermione needed to freshen up a bit. "You might need to freshen up just slightly." She said pointing towards the washroom. "Your mascara looks a little well...a little down your cheeks." She said to her taking her wand and scourgifying it. "There better." She said nodding. She shook her head. "Not yet Dite...we haven't finished everything yet. We all go back together.." Ofcourse I broke that rule.
