Artemis nodded. "I know someone there who used to like you an Era ago. You remember Mars? Ares's counterpart? Well he had quite a little thing for you." She said nodding. "Then he got scared that Jupiter would strike him down and he didn't say anything to anyone except Diana which was such a mistake cause she is such a blabber mouth."

"Dite!" he called. The squid grabbed onto her leg at the same time a merman grabbed her arm. Poseidon conjured his trident, and started swatting at the swarming merpeople.

Dite screamed. She was plunged into the water by the merpeople.
"Posiedon!" she tried to say.

Athena laughed. "As if I would like Mars. He's always been a jerk!" She smiled. "Lemme guess...he liked me but couldn't tell me, so he pretended he liked Minerva? Since she's my counterpart?" Athena sighed. "See, things just aren't working out for me!"

Artemis nodded. "He had this major thing going on and then he forgot about it. He liked you cause you were the only girl who he could talk to about wars. Minevra was such a wuss. Still he had to pretend cause Jupiter didn't like Zeus at all. I just wish they could get it done with you know. Plus you were the only one who could beat him up. Guys apparently go for things like that." She said shaking her head. She wished the two could join forces. They could control the earth even more powerfully than before. "So what you say?"

Ginny's eyes went wide. She felt like now screaming Ron! Though she couldn't. She stood there waiting for Hermione Hermes and Rons reaction. Ron seemed awfully calm about all this. "Where the bloddy **** is Harry when you need him?" She muttered.

"Dite!" he called again

Dite struggled to swim. The merpeople were pointing pitchforkes at her. She shouted again. She punched one mermaid but the merpeople kept swarming. The king pointed the pitch fork at her neck. She kicked him. She swam up to the surface and tried to go to the squid.

Athena frowned. "So what do I say about what?"

"Wanna go show the Romans how the Greeks party?" Artemis asked her shaking her head. "Cause I'm totally up for staying here in the dorms and having a sleepover style thing. PJ's Ice cream, house elf at our service. The whole shindig."

Apollo turned away from the sky and back to Nyx. "Well, where do you want to venture to next?" He asked, glancing around the grounds.

Harry smiled after Artemis left to go find Athena. He proceeded into the common room to see lot's of different facial expressions and emotions. Harry then decided to go over to Ron and Ginny, who happened to be glancing at the "Hermy" pair quite often.

Dite swam and swam.

Ginny shook her head and watched Harry come in and immediately dashed to him. She really didn't want to get into this. "Ron you shouldn't have said that...you deal with this." She said and shook her head. When she reached Harry she stopped him. "Believe me you don't want to go ahead. I'm just waiting till the bomb explodes. Ron just said he loved Hermione right in front of her and...I'm not loud am I?" She whispered looking at him sort of nervously. Then looking back to Ron and Hermione and Hermes. She saw Nike and Eris looking equally uncomfortable like her.

"Heh..." Harry cocked his head to the side and took a glance at Ron. "Jeez, he looks entranced or something." He said, turning back to meet Ginny's eyes. "He wasn't like this until he noticed Hermione and Hermes hanging out together.."

Dite got to shore and caught her breath. She sent a message to Artemis.
Help! Mermaids!

Ginny gulped. "You know Yule-Ball Hermione?" She asked him if he remembered how Hermione had reacted then. Well Ginny thought that Hermione was going to a)scream her head off at Ron or b) fall into his arms which was quite unlikely because Ron had said it in a very very bad way. She looked back to Harry shaking herself out of her thoughts. "Well..how would you feel if the person you loved who loved you back left you for someone else?" She asked him. She wouldn't tell Harry ever but she knew. Except she being part of the female part of the human species dealt with it in a completely different way than Ron was.

Hermione gasped as she heard Ron. She felt lightheaded again and turned to Hermes. "I'm sorry" she whispered and then shoved past them all running up to the girl's dorm. Locking the door with a spell, she collapsed onto the bed, tears beginning to trickle down her cheeks. This was all so confusing. She buried her head into her pillow as sobs racked her body.

Harry thought about what Ginny said and was about to answer, but then Hermione ran out of the common room, sobbing. "Oh, great." He said, wondering what to do about the situation.

Unknown to Hermione Artemis and Athena had already been there. Artemis watched as Hermione cast the spell and walked to her bed and threw herself on the bed. Artemis glided over and shhed to Athena and lightly patted Hermiones back. Artemis was used to this. Most of her nymphs had been women hurt by men or who just wanted to escape for a while. "Are you okay Hermione?" She said to her.

Ginny immediately left Harry with the question hanging and dashed up the stairs to Hermiones dorm. She tried the door knob. It wouldn't open. She oddly felt like crying for her friend. For herself. She didn't know anymore. The tears came down. She was torn between yelling at Ron and hugging him. Torn between punching the wall or sitting down and crying. Torn between leaving Harry alone or becoming the shell of herself she was in first year. She wiped the tears as quickly as the came and shook her head. No this wasn't going to happen to her. She would be strong.

Dite hoped Artemis heard her. Maybe her brother would hear her:
Apollo! Help!

Hermione jerked up as she felt a pat on her back. She rolled over, startled to see Artemis looking down on her. She pushed herself up and leaned against the backboard of the bed, furiously wiping the tears off of her face. "I-I didn't know anyone was in here." she choked out.

Artemis heard Dite in her mind and replied. Nyx is coming to help you Dite...wait. She then proceeded to tell Nyx as Hermione jerked up.Nyx! Find Dite! She's out at the lake somewhere and I'm afraid she's going to freak. Help her! Please she's near the Mermaids at the lake...find Poseidon She sat there and patiently listened to Hermione as if she wasn't internally scared of her sister choking. "Shh...it doesn't matter..just tell me whats wrong. Me and Athena were having some girly time anyways. I can help you if you want. Only if you want though."
