OOC: Hey Cyclops, I noticed Eris was never filled. Could I be her??

Nike peered round the corner and saw the pair playing tag. Then Hermes caught Hermione was wrapped his arms around her. She remembered the many times when they were younger that she and Hermes would play tag on the hills of Olympus. Oh, if only he loved her back! She smiled sadly through tears once again. Nike groaned loudly, wondering why she couldn;t just run out of tears. When she heard Hermione and Hermes stop talking, she knew they had heard her.

Ron went over to Ginny. "May a big brother ask his little sister for a dance?" he asked holding out his hand.

OOC: Sure, that's fine.

Harry grinned at her excitement. "Alright" He said, and mimiced her, jumping up and down, though not knowing whether it was produced from her enthusiasm or if it was part of the dance.

Nyx let herself fall into a cursty(sp) after he bowed. She wished the song lasted longer. She loved dancing with him. Still totally new to her she thought he was cute...no more than that..hot. Though if she said that...he would reject her. She would be devistated...and her heart would go back to being a block of ice and her being upset would upset the balance of the stars. She didn't want to set her self up with that. Even though it might have worked out...as she said before opposites do attract.

Ginny nodded. "A brother may...you boy go away please...you probably freaked a lot of girls out the way you asked me." She said to the boy who had asked her before. She looked to Ron as she wrapped her arms around his neck in a very sisterly way. "So how are you holding up?" She asked him making sure her brother was alright.

Artemis nodded. "It was the enthusiasm," She said as if reading his mind...which she didn't. She laughed at his impression of herself. "Harry has anyone told you your incredibly funny when you want to be?" She said to him smiling as they glided onto the dance floor. "Okay so you lift me and let me glide over to the other dancer person.." She said explaining the rules of the dance to him. She noticed Ron and his sister on the other end of the circle which was forming.

Hermione giggled as Hermes tickled her. "Okay, okay!" she cried out, pulling slightly away so that he'd stop tickling her. Mmm, so warm she thought as he embraced her. As she turned to face him, she heard a moan. Whipping around, she scanned the common room, looking for the source of the sound. "Did you hear that?" she whispered, moving toward the darkened stairway leading to the girl's dorm.

Many students seemed to be going back onto the dance floor, so Apollo took Nyx's hand and headed for one of the tables. "So, now what do you want to do?" He asked her, hoping that she still wanted to hang out with him, even though they had danced already.

Harry grinned as she told him that the jumping was due to her enthusiasm. "Ah.. right." He said, biting his lip, and he then did as she said, lifting her up and then letting her glide over to another dancer.

Since she had never been to one of these things she really didn't know what to do next. She knew that she didn't want to leave Apollo right now. "I don't know...I've never been to a dance before. Could I hang out with you?" That may have sounded bad but she didn't want to leave yet.

Poseidon saw Eris enter. "Dite, look," he said to Aphrodite. "Eris is here."

Apollo smiled and, out of habit, ran his hand through his hair. "Yeah, that's what I was hoping you'd do." He replied, and then glanced outside. "It seems pretty nice out. We could go see if the squid is near the surface or something.." He suggested, hopefully.

Nyx nodded, "Sure lets go." It would be great to be under the night sky. She saw some stars out maybe she could point out some constellations to him or something like that. Tonight was going perfect so far...and she didn't want it to end.

"Great" Apollo said, as he headed for the doors with Nyx. As they proceeded outside, Apollo noticed Orion's belt up in the stars and grinned as he thought of his sister's old suitor, whom he disliked. Apollo then turned his gaze back to Nyx, and he took her hand in his.

Artemis was glided over and glided over. Atleast most of these boys were good dancers. She looked back to Harry to see him with a bright haired blonde at the moment who was smiling up rather coyishly at him. She glared at her lightly but continued curtsying the way she was supposed to and soon she ended up in Ronald Weasleys face. "Hello...your Hermiones best friend aren't you?" She asked him.

Ginny nodded. "I know what you mean Ron...Ron when did you know you liked her?" She asked him but didn't get a chance to hear her answer since she was glided of through numerous boys. Bowing and curtsying and being glided over she finally ended up face to face with whom she liked to call Harry James Potter. "Hello Harry," She said brightly now just hoping her hair was intact and her black sparkling robes looked as fabulous as Hermione had said they had. She looked at him straight in the eye. Oddly enough she could see happiness and that was rare in Harry's eyes.

"It's beautiful out here. You can see every star in the sky..execpt the sun of course." She smiled as she said that. "Each constellation tells a story...from a time mortals have forgotten. I have to say mortals remember you and the others more than they remember the older ones. To tell you the truth...I can't remember that far back..how I came to be..." Nyx didn't know if she was talking to herself more than him. She seriously couldn't remember that far back. It was strange...maybe the years of being alone made her want to forget. She knew that she didn't have actual parents like the others. She stared up at the sky...looking over various stars.

Apollo smiled and listened as she trailed on about the sky and her past. The stars reflected in her eyes and he enjoyed watching her as they walked about the grounds.

"Oh, hey.. Ginny." Harry said, surprised and feeling somewhat awkward. "Your robes look really nice on you." He said, noticing her dark robes in contrast to her pale skin.

Poseidon heard gurgling in his head. It was the giant squid. 'Now you wanna talk,' he thought to the squid. The squid said that Nyx and Apollo were hanging out by the lake and was wondering if he should come up. 'Sure, I don't see why not,' Poseidon said back. 'Do a flip or something. I'll be there in a second.' "Gplprpuplpgpuprpgplpep," Poseidon said aloud. "I mean, want to take a stroll by the lake with me, Aphrodite?" Poseidon was emabarassed talking in the underwater language by accident. "My sources say Nyx and Apollo are there, and the squid is planning something cool."

"Sure," she said. "Wanna take a swim?"
Dite frowned.
"Not sure, who isn't dating someone already?" she said. "I haven't exactlypractised my archery.
"Wow! My brother is going with Nyx! Wow!" she said with her eyebrows raised.

"So is that a yes?" Poseidon smiled. You could always expect Dite to keep going on about couples if someone brings it up.

"Of course!" she said smiling. "Its time for some extreme meddling!"

"That's not what I meant...at all...but...okay!," Poseidon said laughing as he took Aphrodite's hand.

"Meddling and swimming!" she added. "So what were you saying before? I didn't understand what you were saying."

"Nothing, that was underwater talk by accident," Poseidon said sheepishly. "I was talking to the squid in my head."

She giggled.
"That's ok, it's hard switching from one language to another." she said.

Nyx felt at peace...with Apollo. She could tell he was watching her she could see that out of the conor of her eye. She lowered her eyes to where they were going. She saw they were heading for the lake...where the squid was. She could remember when Poseidon pulled the worst trick on her. Pouring god knows how many amounts of water on her..getting her soaked. She forgave him but she was cold and she did have to get rid of her favorite outfit. This dress was her new favorite that was for sure.
