Hermione felt her face grow red. She opened her mouth to speak, but nothing would come out. Clearing her throat, she gave Hermes a small smile and then whispered "Yes" while leaning slightly forward.

ooc: ooh...things are really heating up!

Hermione's breath quickened as Hermes leaned closer. Closing her eyes, she felt him kiss her. After kissing him back, she broke it off and smiled, feeling giddy inside, but struggling not to show it. "Wow" she breathed, grinning.

Hermione giggled. "Oh, it was a really good "wow" she said. "On the contrary, you're quite the kisser." I cannot believe I'm having this conversation she thought, the feeling of giddiness refusing to subside. She felt like she was on a new high and she enjoyed it.

ooc: Lol, you read my mind. That's what I was planning to do!

Hermione giggled again. "Sure. That sounds like a good idea!" she said, allowing herself to be pulled off of the couch. "Now, what kind of 'wacky' dance did you have in mind?" she asked, a slight smirk on her face.

ooc: No way!

"Hmm..." Hermes put a finger to his lips, thinking. "What about the hokey pokey? It's a favourite on Olympus." Laughing, he started, "You put your left foot in, you put your left foot out, you put your left foot in...", doing the actions and looking like the total fool that he was.

Hermione tossed her head back and burst into laughter. "Oh, I'm sorry, it's just that it looks quite funny." she smiled. "You put something in and then you take it out?" she asked, wondering who came up with this idea for a dance.

"You made it up?" she asked surprised. "Yes, very amusing." she paused. "I suppose I could give it a try..but if anyone comes in here and sees this, they're going to think we've had too much butterbeer!" she exclaimed.

ooc: You're too much, Cookie!

Hermione stopped also, taking the offered mug. "Yes, to love, sweet nights, and the hokey pokey." Chortling, she sipped her butterbeer, her eyes studying Hermes' face. She turned and went back to the couch, sitting with her legs folded underneath her.

ooc: Ha ha..

"Hey, you didn't even try the dance!" Hermes protested, plopping down on the couch beside Hermione. "Or are you getting tired already?" He drank from his mug deeply and smacked his lips.

OOC: OMG you guys are too funny!

Nike was getting tired of the dance. She took off her heels and held them by the strap in her hand, making her way to the common room. She walked gingerly; her feet hurt from trying to avoid the Hermy pair. As she entered the common room, she noticed Hermes and Hermione having butterbeer on the couch. She gave them an icy glare that sent bad vibes through the room, and she proceeded to the girl's dorms.

ooc: Thanks!

Hermione smiled "I didn't want to spill butterbeer while I was dancing!" she said, giggling again. I seem to do that a lot around him she thought. Hearing the portrait hole open, she turned and saw Nike. Her face momentarily blanched as Nike glared at them on her way to the girl's dorm. "Oh, dear." she murmured turning back to Hermes.

OOC: Anytime!

Nike was about to go all the way upstairs, but she decided to snoop around instead. She pressed herself up against the back wall and listened to the both of them. "Oh dear," she heard Hermione murmur. Nike scoffed inwardly, though she didn't know why.

ooc: lol did!

The smile was momentarily wiped from Hermes' youthful face when Nike interrupted them. He didn't stay like that for long though. "She's had a bad night; I don't blame her," he told Hermione softly. For some reason, seeing Nike down in the dumps made him feel extremely guilty.

Hermione tried to smile again. Hermes looked upset but she didn't blame him. It was obvious that Nike liked him and he must feel like he has to choose. I hope she isn't dangerous or anything. she thought. She remembered a quote she once read. There's no wrath worse than a woman's scorn. (Lol, couldn't put the actual saying!) Shaking her head, she turned her attention back to Hermes. "Yes, I suppose you're right."

Hermione glanced up at Hermes' comment. "Oh! Everyone should be coming up soon. The dance is supposed to end at midnight." she said, and then answered his other question. "No, not really...maybe it's the butterbeer." she giggled. "Are you?"

Dite nodded.
"Oh, yes I think Harry and Artemis should be together." she said smirking. "I wonder how Nike feels about the two h's." she said worrying.

Hermione slightly blushed and murmured. "Mm-hmm." She glanced around. Oh, there was that awkward silence. She paused and then lightly said. "Okay, so we've had the drinks and the dance, what's next?"
