"Hi everyone It is nice to meet you all" Ray replied after Monica introduced him to everyone. They seemed a happy family just like his before the horrible event that took place on Ray's fifth birthday.
"I can't wait for the camping... I never been in America before" He wispered to Monica.

"Me either." She smiled. "Come on sit down, we have Ham and Cheese or Egg salad Sandwiches and any kind of fruit you can imagine." Monica said.

"Hi" Emmy looked up at Ray.

"Hello Ray, It's so nice to finally meet you!" Ashleigh smiled.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Ray," Draco said, extending his hand. "Monica has spoken fondly of you, and I welcome you to our household. I'm sure the trip will be a memorable one for you and for the rest of us as well. Welcome."

Excelsior frowned slightly at the mention of Sarah's grandpa not feeling well, and that she would join them later. He had so looked forward to spending more time with her, but he understood that her grandpa came first. He would see her when he saw her, and only hoped it would be soon. "How's it going, Ray?", he said. "Are you looking forward to this trip as much as I am?"

"It's my pleasure" Ray replied.

"I'm doing just fine" Ray replied. " Yes actually I just can't wait"

Ray laughed as he heard Monica suggesting to be the first leg of the trip. This intense family reunion was making Ray want to scream from joy, he had missed this family reunion. In this house he was able to feel it again.

"Your car is ready to roll," Draco announced. "Is everyone almost ready for the trip?"

"Yeah, it's going to be really exciting and fun," Excelsior said. "Who knows what we might find on this trip? I've never been to America before, so it's going to be really different from anything most of us have ever experienced, I know that."

Monica got up and took her stuff out to the Porche. She popped the trunk and loaded everything but her purse and tote bag which she would ask her mum to hold for her. She opened the hood and checked her fluids and climbed under the car to check her Invisibility booster.

Ashleigh wrapped up the leftover sandwiches and The leftover fruit and put them inside a cooler for snacks on the road. she stopped at the window and looked out. "Draco you gotta see this." She called to her husband who was wiping off a very sticky Emmy. "Look at Monica, she's checking that car over with a fine toothed comb!" All she could see was a pair of long legs clad in denim shorts and a pair of feet in pink flip flops sticking out from under the car.

"I knew she was capable of handling this," Draco said, happy to see that his faith in his eldest daughter was not misplaced. "She is going to do a great job of driving that car, she is already proving how devoted she is to wanting to drive it. And we are here to help her should she need any. But I have a feeling she's not going to." He smiled.

"I'll be glad when I'm old enough to drive," sighed Excelsior. "It won't be much longer, will it?

Ray took out his bags, they were heavy again, the spell wmust have wore off. He took his wand out and tapped each bag twice. When he pulled them, they were light as feather.
Outside, two cars were already waiting, he headed towards Monica's car, and place his bag in the trunck after shrinking them to the size of an apple, he then climbed in the back seat of the car and waited for their departure.

Emmy did not like having her face wiped off. "No Da-Da!" She said firmly, her lower lip in a pout.

"Next year son. But if you are nice to your sister, she might let you practice with her car when we get home." Ashleigh said as she picked up The Diaper bag and Her purse. "Ok, let's get loaded up."

"You have to look nice and pretty for the journey," Draco told his daughter, who was not pleased about having her face wiped off at all. "One day you'll understand that, when all the boys are standing in line to get a date with you." He knew that day would come. Emmy was definitely going to inherit the beauty of the women before her, including her mother and sisters.

"That would be great!", Excelsior said enthusiastically, adding all his carefully shrunk luggage into the trunk of the car. If this family hadn't been wizards, there would never have been room for all this stuff, he thought to himself. "Well, I guess we're on our way!" Excelsior also took a seat in the back of the car, where Ray was sitting.

"Me Pwetty?" Emmy asked as she held up her arms for Draco to take her out to the Car.

Monica turned to the back, "You guys buckled up?" She asked, pulling her abundant mass of red curls into a ponytail, and putting on her sunglasses.

"Yes, you're the prettiest little girl I've ever seen," Draco answered truthfully, giving his daughter a hug as he held her on his lap for the drive.

"All set," said Excelsior, getting ready to make some new discoveries and meet some new friends. He adjusted his seatbelt, a strange device which he wasn't used to at all, though he understood that it would protect them from injury if they were in an accident.

Monica smiled at her dad, who was seated in the passenger seat. "Daddy, I'm not going anywhere until Emmy is strapped into her carseat." She said softly, wondering if her Dad was testing her.

Ashleigh buckled up in the middle seat. "Everybody all set?"

Draco smiled. "Very good, Monica, I wanted to see if you were aware that Emmy needs to be buckled into her car seat for safety," he said, lifting Emmy into the safety seat and buckling her in. "You really are observant, you are going to be a great driver, I'm certain!"

Excelsior was ready to go. He had a camera in his hand, ready to take photos along the way. The kids back at Hogwarts would want to see pictures of their adventure, for sure!

"Very good," Draco said, nodding his approval. "I knew you were a born flyer. What did you guys think? Ray, Excelsior?"

"I had my fingers crossed but you did great, sis," Excelsior said jokingly, not really all that surprised that Monica had proven to have good driving ability. She was very determined and did a good job with things she cared about, a trait that was very important to him. He knew their dad was aware of her determination to do a good job, too. "Hey Ray, think we can trust her to get us there in one piece"", Excelsior quipped.

Melinda was glad she would finally get on a trip again. By now, she was three months pregnant and was anxious to have her baby, who now everyone knew will be a baby boy. (ooc: tell me if you don't want her to be pregnant yet.) She now could control her nauseas. She was waiting for her cousins to come over.

"The first stop we're going to be making is to pick up your cousin Melinda," Draco instructed Monica. "Remember that she is expecting a baby, which is great. Soon all of you are going to have a new younger cousin to play with, which will be great for Emmy."

Excelsior smiled. "I'm glad that Melinda will be able to make the trip," he said.

The flying car was practically at Melinda's house now. Excelsior watched as his sister prepared to land the car to pick Melinda up.
