Remus's foot went numb with pain momentarily, was he serious stepping on it like that? Fay was his problem. "Yes yes Fay, he just passed earlier in search of you. He was speaking very highly of you too" Remus replied trying to ignore the pain that shriveled through his feet, making a straight face to sound more convincing.


"What is that has to come between us?" she sighed and pulled herself away from Sirius "No worries charming, ill see at dinner then" she gave him a wink after fancying him momentarily then glared at the slytherin girl before making her way down the corridor towards the Headmaster's office.

Diabelle smiled. Not to what Regulus had said, not to answer his smile but to her own thoughts. She loved the way his smile didn’t make it to his eyes. He was like a porcelain doll. Something precious that you must handle with care.

‘I would be delighted if you did.’ She smiled to him still thinking of how delicate he seemed to her. ‘And Erica, you must come with us.’ She smiled to her warmly, speaking softly. ‘There is nothing that would please me more.’ She wondered whether to tell them about Sirius and his gang. It was rather improbable that they would know about it yet, but not excluded. Yet she decided not to open the subject yet, as she did not know how Regulus might respond to that.

"Hmm. Perhaps, once or twice. But maybe Diabelle or Lucius." She said. "But sometimes they can be to, how do i put this, to much slytherin at one time." She giggled a little and went on. "Umm, why exactly are you blocking the door?" She asked, combing her hand through her hair.

Sirius heaved a sigh once he saw Remus finally back him up. He thought he heard Lily's voice through the door, or was it James'? He didn't really know. He felt as if he was going to start halucinating every moment now - if he hadn't started already. "Yeah, see you then!" Sirius waved without too much spirit, and turning towards Lupin, nodded in recognition for his aid. But now he still had Kairi to take care of.

"Right..." Sirius acknowledged offhandedly. He smiled sincerely as she mentioned the 'too much Slytherin' at one time. Oh yes, that he could relate with... But he didn't comment upon it. His knowledge of Slytherins was broad enough not to let him fall into any of their potential tricks.

Yet then she popped the question, the one he had tried so much to postpone. Glancing at Kairi with a refreshing smile, Sirius wished - really wished - James would hurry with his 'Evans' ritual. "McGonagall's orders, actually. She told me specifically not to let anyone pass," he shrugged his shoulders, as if to convey the idea that he clearly thought McGonagall mad. At the same time, Sirius really hoped neither Lily or James would make another sound, and blow his cover.

"So, unless you came here just to see me, I suggest going to a different bathroom, love." He eyed her pleasantly, surprised at how courtsy he could actually become, when he had his mind bent on such a purpose.

"Yes, i see. And since when do you listen to what she has to say?" Kairi asked, realizing his game. She knew that something was going on in there. What, she couldnt exactly say, but she knew there was. She also knew he didnt trust her. It came with being a slytherin. So anything she said was probably just forgotten. "And i have never appeared somewhere to see a boy, no matter how many girls are in love with him. So, Fay must be so much fun, eh?"

Sirius was rather intrigued by her retort. She didn't seem the average Slytherin, but not some girl he could ensnare easily, like half the female population of Hogwarts, either. He cast a quick glance in Remus' direction, then turned his full attention to Kairi. "Since I'm already up for a detention," Sirius said coolly, telling the truth, for once, to a Slytherin.

His black hair stood smoothly arranged on the sides of his face, but he reached out and ruffled it to the back, giving it a rebellious hue. All the time, Sirius was smiling his charmingly abstract smile. "Good for you. Though I'm not sure what you mean by the 'many girls' comment," he tilted his head sideways, innocently. Being coy suited him. He wondered how come she brought up Fay, all of a sudden. Her voice bore no signs of jealousy, but still, it surprised him. "She can be sometimes. Why do you ask?" Sirius glanced at her curiously.

Kairi listened intently, contemplating each word out of Sirius's mouth. "It's slightly funny how you pretend to have no idea how many girls like you." She tilted her head a little , mimicking Sirius. He was postponing, yet she didnt mind it one bit. "As for Fay, I dont think i could handle someone following me around all the time thinking they were going to be my future groom." She smiled, a slight grin that didnt go very far. She quickly swept away the hair that had fallen in her eyes. "How do you manage it?" She asked, a hint of humor hidden in her voice.

Teresa stayed silent still with her head over the table for quite some time, unable to stop thinking and thinking of why everything had happened that way and not differently. Oh, what am I doing here? she thought some time after, raising her head at last and looking around her. She was the only one in the classroom, even Amy had left her without saying a word. Partly she felt quite angry at her friend but then again, the ones she should be angry at were the boys, not Amy.

Since there really was no point in staying at the classroom any longer, she simply got up and walked away, not sure where to go to. She just needed to walk for a while and try to get those thoughts from her mind. However, that did not happen for rage overcame her at the sight of a dark haired boy she knew so well, even if he was not facing her but someone else.
She started hurrying her pace to ask him and his friend what exactly had happened with McGonagal when something made her freeze. Remus and Sirius were talking to a Slytherin. A Slytherin girl. And guess what? Sirius was acting politely towards her. At once, Tess clenched her fists and started walking to him once again. She didn't know the reason why she was angry or why she was feeling so mad just for seeing him speaking to a girl. The only thing she was completely sure of was that she was not going to stand there seeing that.

Once she reached Sirius and his new friend or whatever she was, she just raised her hand and slapped him on his face as hard as she could at the moment. And then, as quickly as she had appeared, she ran away, her eyes already filled with the tears she knew she'd shed once she found herself alone, unsure if he had even seen who she was or if he even cared of what had happened there. But he was probably too busy with that Slytherin to care. She had always been just his 'friend' and she was sick of it. She was sick of seeing him walk around kissing a different girl every month and having to smile and pretend everything was alright.

Kairi stared at Teresa, not exactly sure who she was or what she was doing. She was shocked when she slapped Sirius across the face, eyes wet from tears. Kairi watched her walk away angrily, trying to figure out why she had just done that. "Are you all right?" She asked Sirius, a bit worried.

Sirius shrugged his shoulders, casually. It wasn't his fault all those girls followed him around as if he was some national treasure. And everyone in the school also drew the wrong conclusions about it. Perhaps there had been a time when Sirius enjoyed the overlapping female attention, but lately, it had just become tiring. He wondered what it would be like not to be noticed at all, such as the case of Peter, or simply leading a more quiet existence, like Remus. All these thoughts swarmed in his head as Kairi's voice flew past. He smiled faintly and was about to open his mouth when something happened, which he wouldn't have foreseen even with an automatic crystal ball.

He didn't even have time to look at Tess, and even less time to react in any way. Had she been any other girl - one of the many he had actually dated - Sirius might have probably understood the reasons behind the slap. But Tess and him were friends, and had always been. Plus, Sirius wasn't even doing anything bad. Just talking, and moreover, he was trying to watch out for his best mate and his romantic endeavours. He felt a pulsating pain throbbing in his veins. Not once had he been slapped like that, and he knew in his heart that despite what Tess could have been feeling for him, she had absolutely no right to act the way she did.

He looked at Remus for a long while before managing to settle his irritation. He wasn't going to run after Tess, if that was what she desired. The way he saw it, she was the one who needed to provide an explanation, not viceversa. Bringing his right hand to his now rosy cheek, Sirius rubbed the sore spot lightly, then lowered his arm. He felt like saying a lot of things, perhaps even shouting, but Kairi was still there, and there was a locked Lily just beyond the door. He wished Remus would do something about it all.

Kairi's voice reached his ears, as if from afar. He had forgotten for a moment that she was still there, and felt mildly disappointed about it. He didn't know how long he would be able to keep his calm. "Yeah, don't worry. I'll live..." Sirius replied, attempting to muster an amused smile. He wondered if she managed to see through his behaviour. Probably anyone would have, he wasn't exactly trying hard to hide his emotions.

Kairi stood there, looking back and forth from Sirius and Remus. "That's good, although I've never heard of anyone dying from a smack before. Your friends a bit quiet." She looked at Remus thoughtfully.
Kairi opened her mouth to start another sentence, but stopped herself, and thought a bit.
It is so obvious that they would rather me not be here. But it is only a matter of time before i figure out what is going on in there.
Kairi's curiosity got the best of her. "Back to an earlier subject. If Mcgonagall did indeed tell you to gaurd the door, then what is the reason. I mean, what is so horribly wrong in there, that she let you, of all people, gaurd the door? Not that I mean anything by that, but you aren't one of the professers favorites by any means." Kairi was going to figure out what was going on one way or another.

Peter didn't wake, he didn't move, he did nothing. his face had turned a violent shade of crimson now, nearly one enough to match the colors on his school robes. without even touching him you could tell he was burning up with a horrible fever. all this blunt force trama to his head lately wasn't doing any good for him in the least.

for all he knew, he was in a patch of lollipops in flower and it was raining daisies. in fact, a smile spread across his unconscious face because it was that exact thing that he was dreaming of at the moment. Lollipops of all colors, and some of multicolors, were sprouting out all around him and it was raining daisies, with rainbows filling the sky. he was prancing about and enjoying himself.

on the outside, all you could see was a hovering-in-the-middle-of-the-hallway-boy who had a temperature of at least 102 and smiling to himself ridiculously.

"Yes, Yes, indeed. I will have to talk to you later then." Kairi straightened up a little, irritated by Remus's power. She glanced down at Peter, who seemed to be a crimson color. "Would you like me to take him down to the office for you?" She asked, directing it towards Remus, a sign showing that just because she was slytherin does not mean that she was evil.

"Well, he looks awfully sick." Kairi began to argue. She stopped, fed up with this prefects superior attitude. She turned quickly, walking slowly down the hall. She turned around, saying one last thing. "I do believe you are to meet your beloved professer, are you not?" She turned back around and continued walking, still in their sight.

"Thats 5 points off Slytherin house for trying to argue with a Prefect" snarled Remus flicking his wand, he would not like to take more points off the student but if she decides to continue then there is no other option. "There is no need to make fun or call professor names, if we need to speak to a professor then its our concern. If you do not have any more questions, then you should be on your way to the bathroom. Unless you are here to causer mayhem then I'm afraid you should report to your head of house immediately for a very intensive speech on school rules, which one would you like to pick?" he remarked pulling a parchment out off his robes ready to report her to Professor Slughorn.

Kairi just kept walking down the hallway, fuming with anger. She couldnt understand how Remus was able to secure a prefect position. He was an avid troublemaker and hang out with a group of people who's minds were set on destruction. Kairi didnt really care about the housepoints, her mind was set on not going back there and punching him square in the jaw.
Kairi made to another bathroom, making sure there was no one 'guarding' the door. The last thing she needed was for her to take her anger out on a poor, unsuspecting student.
She slipped in and walked to the sink, resting against it. Kairi peered in the mirror, looking at herself. She fixed her hair a little, and walked out, going to her common room.
Kairi quickly whispered the password and went in, all in a very hurried way. She looked around for Diabelle and Lucius. When she spotted them, Lucius was talking about slytherin prefects, and Diabelle was with Regulus. She figured she go listen to Lucius's speech. She walked up next to him and remaned silent.

Despite the fact that Lucius loved to have an audience, noticing Kairi listening to him ruined his concentration. He paused for a second, looking at her with the corner of his eye, then resumed his speech.
‘Now go and remember that it’s not all about being a Prefect, it’s about being a true Slytherin.’ The younger students got the hint and took a hike.
‘Where have you been? I had the impression you were here, listening to me the whole time.’ Lucius questioned her, arms folded. He noticed something strange about her, some sort of mute rage that she didn’t have earlier. ‘Did something happen to you? Some…misfortunate occurrence?’ he asked in a detached, somewhat intrigued voice. Of course, the only ‘misfortunate occurrences’ the way he called them – that could happen to a Slytherin was to run into a Gryffindor or to run into a teacher.
He than cast a quick look over her shoulder to see what Diabelle was doing, for it was almost dinner time, but quickly shifted back to Kairi, waiting for a rather prompt answer.

Blake was still on the passed out,but after what seemed for a few seconds Blake opened his eyes to see two girls.TWO.in front of him.Blake's eyes widened,"H-h-ho-he-Hi." He stuttered as he stood up straight and fixed his glasses.

"B-B-Be-Blak-Blake G-Gra-Grayson" Blake introduced himself to the girl.

Kairi was a bit shocked that Lucius actually cared about what was wrong with her. She looked down and shook her head, mumbling quietly. "It's nothing, nothing at all. Nice speech. You know, I'm really beginning to think that Slytherin prefects are truly the best." She looked up at him and gave a weak smile. "It's almost dinner, right. I hope so, im starving." Kairi's stomach rumbled a little as she said this, her cheeks becoming a rosy red.

Lucius measured her well, his eyes piercing her.
‘We shall go to dinner in a minute.’ He said to her, then he moved his eyes on Diabelle and shouted: ‘It is almost dinner time, we’re going now.’
‘You go ahead and secure some seats for us as well. We will be right behind you.’ Diabelle said, then moved her eyes back to the other two Slytherins.

‘Well then, let us go.’ Lucius told Kairi, empathizing with her hunger, but never admitting he would be hungry himself . But when they got to the hallway, he asked again. ‘So if you believe that the Slytherin Prefects are the best, which ones were they to prove this to you?’ He looked at her, waiting to find out what really happened. He did not like much people who picked on Slytherins with no good reason. And as far as he was concerned, there was never a good reason to pick on a Slytherin. His eyes stuck on her as they walked, he would have her tell him everything.

Lucius had his hair in a slightly wavy tail on his back and a back velvet bow kept it in place. He had a slight perfume of something fine and indefinite, which hovered around him wherever he went. Passing by a group of third year Ravenclaws, he saw as one of them dropped her book as he passed by. Someone else in his place would have picked it up for her, but he just smiled – or rather smirked – from the corner of his mouth, and carried on, leaving the girls in awe, thinking he had actually smiled to them. But the little distraction did not make him forget about the question he had asked.
