Jackie had been wandering the halls when she spotted McGonagall who was leading the Marauderers away like prisoners, with the exception of Peter, who was floating in midair.

Jackie hid behind a pillar, knowing what would happen if she didn't. Professor McGonagall would assume that she had something to do with it, and make her suffer the same consequences, even if Jackie didn't do it, which she hadn't.

I really should stop hanging out with these guys she thought. It was true the marauders did cause her a lot of trouble. But Jackie knew she couldn't. They were too much fun. Besides, she had to help Remus stand up to James and Sirius.

Before they vanished around the bend, Jackie met Remus' eyes and flashed him a quick smile.

Leeza watched as he fainted. She had seen him do this before and hoped he wouldn't do it now. She looked around hoping that someone was nearby that could help her. Got down on her knees and checked to make sure that he was okay. She then moved Blakes bangs out of his eyes.

She had to do something...and she didn't know how long he would be like this. She took a few deep breathes. "Someone help! Man Down!" Leeza yelled hoping someone would hear her. She had to get Blake to the Hospital wing..and she couldn't do it on her own. She would even settle for James and his group to help her.

Lucius Malfoy, as insufferable as usual, and some girl Sirius didn’t really remember. His posture lazy, his grey eyes gleaming, Padfoot came to a stop once Malfoy began his usual routine. But he didn’t retort, oddly enough. Just stood there, eyeing first the girl next to him, then Lucius himself. Why was he staring at Lily, of all people?

Waiting to see if one of the two were going to say something before McGonagall would urge them onwards, Sirius rolled his eyes at the sight of Peter bumping from wall to wall. The boy had a problem, a big one. Perhaps an illness... Sirius shook his head as Peter approached them, shouting what sounded like random words. “Geez, Peter, watch where you’re going!” he admonished Wormtail, stopping him in his tracks, so as to make him avoid further impacts with the walls of Hogwarts. “And why are you shouting?” Sirius leaned over, brow furrowed conspicuously, as if he was wondering just how many fire whiskeys Peter had had that morning.

James was soon brought out of his daydream with Peter and his annoying self. "Watch it," he whispered towards Peter and shook his head to his shouting match.

"Boys! If you don't-PETER!" she screamed as her cane began to work overtime, helping her hobble over to where the two students were. She took her free hand and looked towards James and Remus.

"Remus could you please help? He can't lay on Sirius forever."

James noticed that Lily was back once more. He ran to her side eventhough she called out for Remus. "I'm here too," he whispered behind her ear, letting her know that he was right behind her.

Finally reaching around, James began to take hold of Peter. He hoped that Lily would see just how strong and helpful he was to his friends, even if it was Peter.

As James looked around for other helpers, he noticed Jackie running off around the corner. Great, he thought to himself, she is never around to help out when we need her the most. His ungreatful mind was at a great loss for the moment, hoping that someone else would help out with Peter for the time being.

"If ever I have handled such students as the four of you," McGonagall stressed with an unpleasing voice, "I would have left school a long time ago. You are all driving me insane!"

She took her cane and began to poke Peter in the stomach, trying to wake him up. "Get up, boy," she demanded, then looked to the other three. "If he does not wake, I want the three of you to take him to the hospital wing and then meet me in my classroom, PRONTO!"

She stormed out of sight with a huff. Never before had she been so quiet towards students during her time of anger, but she was afraid at saying something unfit for young ears to hear, screaming.

James felt his heart melting into a heart formation as Lily touch him. His staring contest quickly turned as he watched Peter's limp body move to another position besides Sirius.

"Why yes, he did," he responded to Lily's witness of Remus' actions. His mouth began to open once more as he pushed his glasses into their normal position but it was too late. His beautiful redhead was leaving them once again.

He lifted his fingers into an 'okay' position towards Lily with a smirk on his face. "Thanks-," he mouthed, turning his attention back towards the situation, "alot, Peter."

Sirius grinned, patting James on the back. "You always say that, mate!" he nudged him lightly, motioning to his friend's beloved red-head and trusting his best mate had gotten the point. It was about time he acted in that respect. And if James still wasn't going to be able to make Lily fall for him (which Sirius doubted was possible, seeing as though he was one of Hogwarts' most wanted), Sirius would see to that himself. I've had enough Wormtail today to last me a century..." he said a bit morosely, dusting some invisible Peter remnants from his robes. He smiled at the mention of dinner. Though he wasn't exactly hungry, he wouldn't mind strutting a bit down the Great Hall along with his Marauders. "But what about our old hag? Isn't she expecting us in her office?" he asked the two boys, shrugging his shoulders, as if to dismiss the idea.

Once James uttered the word 'errand', Sirius' sparkled his grey eyes. By the look on James' face, this was definitely going to be enticing. He grinned at Remus, then allowed himself to be dragged up to the girls' bathroom. "Don't worry about that," Sirius assured his friend mischievously, signalling to the door, and adopting a determined posture. "You just go on and show her who's the man!" Sirius flashed James an encouraging smile, and watched him enter the bathroom.

Twisting the door's handle, so that he was sure no one would either enter or exit while he was there, Sirius turned with his back to the door, and began whistling a tune. A cheerful one, naturally.

"Oh it has to be here." she said to herself as she looked through every bathroom stall. Getting down on all fours Lily put her face close to the floor (but not directly on it) and searched the remaining stalls.

Pushing herself off of the floor she brushed her hair out of her face and began to walk back to the washing sink. She paused in dead horror when she saw the reflection of a certain someone in the mirror.

No! I'm seeing things. she thought to herself as she closed her eyes tightly and opened them again.

It was unbelievable, James Potter had followed her to the girls bathroom! Lily was in complete and utter shock. She turned and was about to run into an empty stall and hide, when she saw her potions book laying on the floor by the sink.

Gently hitting the stall, she walked out towards James.

"Using the girls bathroom? Why Mr. Potter is there something you aren't telling us?" she asked as she raised an eyebrow and gave him an annoying look.

"Using the girls bathroom? Why Mr. Potter is there something you aren't telling us?" she asked as she raised an eyebrow and gave him an annoying look.

As he made his way inside the bathroom, he quickly leaned against the wall and crossed his arms in an haughty fashion. He watched Lily as she seemed to be in search of something lost.

His head tilted from side to side as she crawled on the floor, nearly touching her face to the filthy floor that Argus "Filth" never cleaned up. Watching her stand, he noticed her look in the mirror. He knew at that point, she had seen him in an instant.

He chuckled arrogantly as Lily spoke to him. "Believe me, Lily, you would be the first to know," he spoke as he raised an eyebrow. "Now, you must fill me in on something-" He paused for a moment, walking closer to Lily and stopping inches from her beautiful face. "Whatever have I done to you that you feel the need to not even notice my presence back in the hallway?"

Remus shiftily glanced at a now yelling McGonagall, he knew she was on her last nerve and mighty awful their detention would be, mighty awful. He glanced back at his two friends that were yet not in their right state of mind at some people would stay.
He couldn’t dare say a word in front of McGonagall, instead he continued to hover Peter and shiftily look around at everyone, then watched her storm away down the corridor, completely disagreeing with her leaving them alone here. It would take them forever to reach her office, if not the next day. Maybe I should take peter to the hospital wing, alone, cause those two wouldn’t dare coming anyways?

James would never get Lily on her own so this was a good chance, if the timing wasn’t very off. He came to a halt in front of Sirius who was taking station outside the girls’ bathroom. “Dear Merlin’s, what’s he doing in there?” he asked as he realized James most likely followed Lily in there “Never mind don’t answer that”. He leaned against the nearest wall and rubbed his forehead staring at a whistling Sirius, “Sirius, this will end BAAAAD. I’m telling you, mark my words”.

"Oh, Moony, will you relax?" Sirius replied, a little exasperated. He placed his hands on his hips, eyeing Remus in a brotherly fashion. "Seriously, it'll be fine. If we didn't get expelled all these years, we won't now, trust me!" he claimed whole-heartedly, hoping his friend would quit worrying. He didn't cast a second glance in Peter's direction, however. What more could have happened to that boy? Sirius made a mental note to confront him about his drinking problem. It had better be that... he thought, looking away.
