"Well" he sighed "Professor McGonagall can be highly creative-" but he cutoff with the goofiest smile seeing she took hold of his hand. He squeezed her hand as he spoke, "You know i try Amy" masking a puppy look for forgiveness "maybe one day I'll succeed".

He smiled while his eyes twinkled, he loved how her instincts fired up to own him. "And i wouldn't want it otherwise" smiling as he said those words, taking her hand to twirl Amy on the spot.





Upon hearing her name, Fay turned around a bit surprised that someone yelled her name. "Yes?" she said annoyingly towards Tess, she knew who that girl was and she knew how hard she's been trying to date Sirius but he was never interested in her, always thought she was a friend. "Well well" she teased hopping into Sirius's lap and wrapping her arms around him, "I came here first. You have to wait till I've been taught how to dance, RIGHT PROFESSOR MCGONAGALL?" smiling at Sirius then shifted her glance onto the Professor for some guidance.

When the Fay girl faced her and started to cling on Sirius even more, Teresa clutched her hands even more as a dangerous fire twinkled in her eyes. Most people knew that if she had that look on her face it was best to back away for the consequences were never pleasant, but how could that beast with no brains know it?

'Really, I don't mind if you stay there forever. Though I do doubt that you'll be able to dance in that position in the first place' She said calmly and shrugged. 'Actually, I would love it if you stayed there. After all, you'd only have more problems. See, Professor Slughorn was saying something about having to find you, muttering about awful homework and worst potion he'd ever seen' She lied in a perfectly relaxed way, just as if she was talking about the weather. 'If I were you I'd go talk to him before he finds you in that state' Tess pointed at Fay. 'He'd actually think you don't care about having good grades. But hey, I'm no-one'

Teresa gave Fay a fake warm smile and titled her head to the side, silently praying she would be able to make Fay get out of Sirius's arms at once.

Amy chuckled softly, barely hearing Tess's exclamation of Fay's name, and nodded in agreement. "Very, very creative, apparently. Let's be reminded not to get on her bad side again." She murmured, giggling a bit as she suddenly looked up and saw him beaming at her, and then switching to that puppy dog look that always got to her.

Pretending to debate for a moment, she grinned. "Alright. You're forgiven. But only because I can't resist that look that you put on for me." She informed him. "And you will succeed. Just keep trying...and getting fewer detentions while you're at it." She teased.

Quite pleased at Remus's words, Amy beamed. "That's certainly good to know." She replied, a quiet squeal of delight following her words as Remus suddenly twirled her. "My, my. You are quite the dancer." She complimented.

Alia was walking slightly behind Lily, she was on her way back up to the common room when she couldn't help but notice out of teh corner of her eye, a bright flashing sign, "Open For Dance Lessons" on McGonagall's classroom door. She had to see what this was about, she'd never known McGonagall to have anything like this, and there appeared to be quite the congregation at the doorway.

"Excuse me," she said bitterly and shoved her way past the Slytherins and next to Lily, obscuring Snapes direct view of her. As she looked around, she nearly snorted out loud, but managed to suppress it into a laugh. Fay clinging to Sirius, Peter in a tutu, and Remus dancing with Amy. "What on earth is going on here, Lils?" she asked her friend. "And... why are they dancing?"
Peter's head wasn't quite as gone as he was portraying it to be, and he mumbled, "He'd rather dance with a Troll," at Fay, and wiped the still-sticky ice cream cone off of him and walked over to her, walking into a desk or two as he went. He smiled at her and extended his hand, cone in hand, "Is'is yours?" he asked, and tipped the cone upside down, to let the last drop of ice cream drip off onto her head, and then his smile faded as he lowered his arm. After a few moments, the ice cream cone and Fay's head met, and the cone squished into the top of her hair in a gooy, sticky mess. "I just thought I'd return it" he said and stumbled away, towards James.
Alia heard this and let out a cackling snort, she couldn't help herself, and her jaw dropped open in a shocked smile at what Peter just did. She immediately closed her mouth and tried not to laugh at her misfortune, however hilarious and well-deserved it was. She cleared her throat and spoke up, "Oh, dear Fay, what if Sirius doesn't wan't to have you?" she asked, seemingly sympathetically, "Afterall now there are more than enough girl's in this room to match each guy, I think the poor boy should be allowed to chose..." she smiled at her, politely. "Plus, have you never head that when dancing, the partners should be about the same height? Sirius is much taller than you," she said stepping forward to touch her shoulders, sort of aiming her head in Peter's direction, but careful not to touch the mass of goo on her head. "You and Peter," she giggled, "however are almost the same height and you would do much better to dance with him." she said and gave her a slight push toward Peter and quickly withdrew her hands, wiping them on her robes, she didn't want to get the fat-girl disease, even if it wasn't contagious.

Severus followed her glance to Sirius and back, and there was an odd sort of expression on his face. "If you're implying that I came here to stare at Black, I might be obliged to contradict you," he replied, measuring her with his coal-black eyes.

He blinked as Erica asked whether she was being accused of anything. Inadvertently, he thought of his own situation, and how everything he seemed to do lately had more or less to do with Lily Evans. Perhaps he was being a hypocrite. Then again, most Slytherins were. He kept quiet.

"Aren't I lucky?" Sirius asked with the slightest hint of sarcasm, as he struggled to look at her without betraying any signs of dislike. He glanced around in search of anyone to come to his aid. Erica had joined the Slytherins, and looked like she was being interrogated by Snape, Alia and Lily were a bit far off, and there was also Tess? Sirius had no idea when all those people had appeared. Probably during the time when Fay had launched himself upon him, obscuring his every thought or vision.

Trying to move, but failing to manage it, he shot the girls who had been attempting to save him a 'thanks-for-trying' look, before turning to try and appeal to reason. If only Fay would listen. But then something else happened, which no one was expecting, no doubt about it. Peter stumbled out of nothingness, still in his tutu, and dropped his ice cream on Fay's head.

"Thanks, Pete. Saving the day, as usual," Sirius muttered, morosely wiping the ice cream remnants that had slipped from Fay's head unto his arm.

Staring at Black.... Those three words echoed in her head, sneering at her thoughts. Turning away from Snape, she watched as Tess tried to stop Fay from holding on to Sirius and how Peter dumped ice cream on top of her head, creating a huge mess. Looking at the boy who seemed to dominate all her thoughts lately, she bit her lip. It seemed like Snape had figured out what was going on, but she wouldn't admit it in front of him. How could she? Unless Snape admitted to them all, his love for Lily Evans. It seemed like the Slytherins were all traitors somehow. She probably wasn't the only one who had fallen in love with a Gryffindor. Problem was... should she take the initial step or bury it?

James kept his eyes fixed on Lily as she looked away. "Oh I do believe her cheeks are rosey red...like the color of Gryffindor," he whispered to himself as he became into a dream-like state for a moment.

James' dreamy state was soon returned as he heard the voice of another female approaching. "Oye!" he exclaimed as he looked up to see Fay making her way towards Sirius.

McGonagall's feet were gliding across the floor to the Slytherin's as she heard Snape's reply. "Oh, not a fuss at all, Mr. Snape," she insisted as she walked over and took his right hand into her left. She then carefully placed his left hand on her hip. "Show me the actions you have," she bellowed as she looked to Regulus. "And you are next, Mr. Black."

She waited for Snape to guide her across the dance floor as she fixed her eyes in his direction.


James' attention was thrown once more as he heard Fay's voice closer than ever. His eyes darted towards Sirius and grew wide with surprise. He knew exactly what Sirius was thinking and was about to get him out of this mess when he heard Fay speak of Lily dancing with Snape.

"I beg your pardon, Fay," he firmly spoke towards her and continued, "but Lily would never dance with that filthy git." He was unaware of the anger that filled his head at the moment and was not paying attention to anyone around him.

McGonagall turned her attention towards the girl Fay while she kept her stance. "Yes, Fay," she spoke as she looked back at Snap. "Excuse me for a moment, Mr. Snape but do you mind dancing over towards the lovely girl sitting in Sirius' lap." Not paying attention to the last bit she spoke of, her eyes kept their gaze on Snape for just a few minutes more.

James' frustration quickly turned as he heard Peter speak. Turning his attention, he totally forgot about the tutu Peter was wearing and his smirky smile returned once more. "'At'ta boy, Pete!" James exclaimed as he watched Peter return the items that Fay had lost.


James let out another snicker as he watched Lily's friend pair up Fay with Peter. Never in his deepest thoughts did he ever think that Peter would go for such a blunt girl as Fay, but Peter never seemed to go with any girl at that thought. James flung his attention back towards Lily once more.

"Would you care to dance Lily," James asked as he walked closer to the red headed angel standing in front of him.

Severus had resumed his subtle observation of Lily Evans when he was approached by McGonagall. Again. She was apparently as impervious to reasonable explanation as her Gryffindor minions. He sighed. Do you hate me, God? he thought as he eyed the deputy headmistress' hand with obvious dislike.

As if answering his call for justice, McGonagall gave him back his freedom, and for a moment, Severus thought he was being saved of the embarrassment she wished to thrust upon him by making him dance with her. But no, the Gryffindors were far from innocent, Hufflepuff-like lambs. As Snape glanced in the direction of the 'girl' McGonagall had now paired him with, he frowned. Pushing aside the fact that he would never even look at anyone labelled as 'the lovely girl sitting in Sirius' lap', he was certainly not going to dance with that... thing. Never.

He didn't respond to her, his eyes wandering instead towards Lily, now chattering with James, who was being his usual dimwitted charming self. Turning round thunderously, Severus grabbed hold of the only girl he would ever concede to dance with (apart from Lily, naturally).

"Just... go with it," he hushed in Erica's ear, as he led her into a slow, but not at all awkward-looking array of movements. Far from clumsy, he was actually a rather good dancer. Not that anyone cared, of course.


"Would you just--" Sirius barked, struggling to be rid of Fay. He glared at his friend, who was obviously so wrapped up in the worshipful fascination of Evans that he didn't care all too much about Sirius' poor fate.

"What a wonderful idea, professor!" he grimaced, as McGonagall paired Fay with Snivellus. What a pair they would make... however, even that fantasy was warped away as Snape started dancing or whatever it was that he was doing, with Erica. A small pang, as if of jealousy, crossed his chest.

"Oh, oh, that's right, Prongs. Just leave me here, I'm all set..." Sirius whined, eyeing Fay's ice cream-splattered head with disgust. James was a lost cause as long as Lily was around, that much Sirius knew. He eyed the rest of the girls present, feeling utterly at a loss. At this point, he'd take even McGonagall, if that meant getting Fay off his case.
