Story:
What was intended for the Slytherin snakes of the school, ended up a disaster. Not only did the Marauders, Sirius, James, Remus and Peter, find their way to detention with Professor McGonagall, they also found more than a days work of detention. The only luck up their sleeves was the fact that McGonagall did not expel them from the grounds of Hogwarts.

The Punishment:
Hogwarts is providing a masked ball in honor of the seventh year students, as they prepare, themselves, for the real world ahead of them. McGonagall, the dance instructor, has hurt herself thanks to the wonderful prank pulled by our daring Marauders. As punishment, or as she thinks punishment, the Marauders have to take her place as dance instructors for the students who do not know how to dance. Boys and girls are welcome to join in on the fun as they learn to dance their way to the end of school.

With it being the seventh year of the Marauders, James is still on the prowl for the attention of Lily Evans while Sirius is on the prowl of all the beautiful girls of the school. Will Lily finally give in and attend the dance with James? Will Remus find love with one of the beauties of the school? Will Sirius ever settle on just one girl? Will Peter find a girl? The choice is up to the RP’ers.

The RP will start with McGonagall leading the way for our four Marauders to their first day of detention, dancing detention that is.

Background:

She is American, but moved to the UK with her Father after her mother left them. She is a bit of a tom-boy, but knows how to have lots of fun. She is pretty nice when you don't tick her off. But watch out if you get on her bad side; she used to live in Manhattan, and knows how to make you pay.

She Loves to play quiddich, and is on the Gryffindor team. She enjoys doing mostly anything, and is good at thinking fast, but not many are willing to deal with her control issues. She likes to be in charge, unless it insults someone she admires.

Melody loves to play the guitar but NEVER, I repeat, NEVER plays for anyone but herself.

Background: she was a loner in her muggle school, but when she came to Hogwarts she was accepted and even became close friends with Lily (if Jor lets me have it that way ) and plenty of others. By 6th year, knew most of the kids in her year. she knew that the Marauders were trouble and to stay away from them unless you wanted to lose points, which she didn't.

at the end of her 6th year she gave in, much to her friends' dismay, and came to the dark side (aka: the goofy side) and now has her eye on one of the Marauders, she just hasn't decided which one yet. she didn't really join forces with them, she didn't take part in any pranks, up until then at least. she just is trying to get a hold of one of the guys, altho her heart is as of yet undecided as to which one.

Blake's history is really simple.He is a muggleborn, his parents were surprised that their son was a wizard.His grandmother remarked that he'll be the next Houdini.

Blake had been the Ravenclaw prefect (( Whaaat?)) since fifth year.He had hoped to be Head Boy but alas.James Potter beat him to it.Blake didn't mind James Potter and his friends,they were a bit nice to him.If they wanted to borrow his homework that is.

Background:

Leeza is halfblood, her mother is a muggle and her dad is a wizard. She loves to read and to play musical instruments. At home she can play the Flute, piano and electric piano. Her father wasn't too sure about the last one because since he is a pure blood muggle things confuse him. Example: He blew up the toaster.

Leez has been a prefect since her fifth year and she is also on the Quidditch team. On the team she is the seeker. She has gone against James and sometimes she would get the snitch and other times he would. She respects him on the quidditch pitch but thinks he is a goof ball off of it. As for her goals her mother wants her to get a muggle job and her father wants her to either be in the ministry or to go into pro Quidditch. She has no clue what she wants to do because she is torn between her parents.

She used to have a boyfriend but he broke up with her because...her team beat his. He was a Slytherin and he hated to lose. Now she has a huge dislike of slytherins and hopes to find a new boyfriend...hopefully in her own house.

Personality: Teresa is a very loyal friend. She has a red-head behaviour, since she can get really angry when someone or something bothers her. She is scared of falling in love but she's very romantic. She can get over-excited when something happens or is going to happen, like a book release she has been waiting for a long time and such. She is brave and if a friend of hers is hurt or if someone says something bad about them, she stands up for the person in question.
She is very intelligent and believes in some things most people don't, so she is often called 'lunatic' but she doesn't mind it because she considers herself a lunatic in a way. She loves to read so much that sometimes she forgets in which world she's living but thankfully her friends are always there to remind her. Her mind is always filled with many thoughts. Tess is terrible with names and it takes her a while to remember and/or memorize them. Sometimes she competes with other students over their grades to see who's the best but this is disappearing as the time goes by.
She is almost always smiling and she's always there for a friend. Sometimes she acts misteriously just for the pleasure of doing so. Name: Diabelle Sauvage
Age: 17
House: Slytherin
Appearance:
- Hair: long, streight, black with blue reflexions
- Eyes: dark brown
- Height: about 170 cm

Background:

Diabelle is an orphan, raised by her noble grandmother. She is the result of a maisalliance from all points of view: her father was a French nobleman, but a muggle and her mother a witch coming from an influential wizarding family, yet not from the nobility.
Diabelle is used to having everything work they way she wishes, but she is a discrete person, as she spent her childhoot trying to get unnoticed by her noble relatives who would forever comment upon her origin. She is a cold person, but only because she had no one to love her, after her parents died when she was only 2, burnt alive along her mothers' grandparents in their home, by the 'orders' of a wizarding official.
She is very witty but prefers to keep to herself as much as she can. She gets along well with the Ravenclaws because she's not the type of bully her Slytherin colleagues are. Generally, she learnt not to be biased over the blood of those around her, but she doesn't really know how to get close to those she would like to befriend, as she never had real friends in her childhood.

Diabelle is very helpful and likes to take on responsibilities, but she appears rather professional or polite more than friendly. she learnt not to stare at people so at times she appears rather arrogant to those that do not know her. very elegant and delicate, she excelles in things a noble lady should know, and she has been trying through endless hours of study to compensate the lack of a magical upbringing.

However, she does not like having her authority doubted and she appears quite evil when it comes to disobedient individuals. Some Slytherins can't stand her because of that and avoid her. She's usually quite direct when something bothers her. She's charming and she loves dancing and she enjoys making gifts for people or even secretly solving their problems.

Diabelle tries to avoid Gryffindors so that she is not unjust to either them or the Slytherins. She allows herself to be slightly manipulated by Lucius, the boy Prefect, and when she is with him she'll usually back him up with most things. He usually uses her, and she likes being seen with her. She also gets along very well with Lilly(they know each other from Prefect meetings), whom she admires for keeping those Gryffindors behaving. But she prefers not to be seen chatting with her more than necessary.

Personality:Jackie is a HUGE tomboy, and often hangs out with the Marauders, though she does have a Love/Hate friendship with Melody Edmunds (if that's okay with you). Jackie had only just started to get interested in love, so who know's what could happen with her. Jackie had moved to Ireland from America after her father died with her mother. Jackie is still the biggest baseball fan ever, but she has learned to love Quidditch and Jackie is a beater on the Gryffindor team. Jackie sometimes helps the Marauders with pranks for pure fun, but she didn't have anything to do with the skateboard incident. The red baseball cap that she always wears was the last gift she got from her father before he died when she was 10.

There were her cranky roommates mumbling on how much of an idiot Jackie was, while a girl sleptwalk around the room. "Oops," Jackie shrugged it off.

Personality: Don’t let her height fool you. She may be small, but she’s quite strong thanks to her active exercising and athletics. She won’t hesitate to get in someone’s face if she doesn’t like what’s being said, is quite stubborn, and at times has a trigger hair temper. She learned to communicate with wildlife and live off the land. She is very strong, cunning, smart, and pretty. She was "rescued" by some locals at the age of ten, who took her to their village. She stayed with the local doctor and his wife and six kids. Unexpectedly, she received a letter from Hogwarts at the age of eleven. Her family was very supportive, and did everything they could to try and understand. Of course, no one else in the village knew. She loves Hogwarts, but is very annoyed with some of the students. She enjoys Diabelle's company and usually hangs out with her and Lucius.

Kairi sat on her bed, staring out her window. Outside the sky was gray with clouds and rain was falling heavily. She let out a sigh and watched as the lake rippled where the drops were falling. She turned around, pulling out her diary. She dipped her quill in the ink and began to write. She paused a moment, tapping the end of the quill against her chin. Kairi glanced at her clock. Realizing what time it was, she quickly put her stuff away and scurried to the Great Hall.

Appearance: Like his older brother Sirius, Regulus Black has inherited the charming smile and good looks of the Black family. He prides himself in his appearance, determined to be smooth and slick at all times. He has startling blue eyes which at times are veiled to hide unwanted emotions. His dark brown hair is long, but always neatly tied back in a sleek ponytail. A generous mouth and a proportionate nose grace his well formed face, giving an overall impression of masculine beauty. He is always clean shaven and his robes are pressed and neat, perfectly tailored to his 6ft frame.

Background: The younger brother of Sirius Black has a reputation for being the honoured one of the Black family. A strong supporter of the pureness of blood placed him into the Slytherin house, much to the applause of his family. Although not a hater of his brother, he prefers to distance himself from Sirius's reputation as a troublemaker, though as a Slytherin, how innocent can he really be? Regulus is a firm believer that rules are meant to be bent, and along with his close friend Lucius (if the person playing him permits), spends time exploring the more interesting side of the dark arts.

Regulus Black, favoured son of the distinguished Black family, lounged lazily in the Slytherin common room. His piercing blue eyes surveyed the room with veiled interest. It was mostly empty this time of day, save for some icky first years studying at one of the nearby tables. He stood up slowly, swinging his legs down from the chesterfield in a smooth motion. Tugging gently at his sweater to remove the wrinkles, he then bent down and retrieved his brown leather satchel from the rug at his feet. A faint embossing could be seen tooled on the front flap, letting the world know whose satchel it was: R.A.B.

Erica Roberts


You might think she’s the typical blonde with baby blue eyes, born into the most stereotyped family. The most popular and the most gorgeous girl in the school. Well, she’s not. I’m not saying Erica Roberts isn’t pretty and isn’t popular, but if you mistaken her for one of those ditzy blonde plastics than she’ll get in your face about it. She’s been called so many names by people that she won’t hesitate to retaliate. At certain points, she bound to call you names back or if you’re lucky she might just ignore you. Although if you mess with her close friends…well than you might wanna go look up some earlier funeral plans.

Her friends are the most important thing to her. Sure, it’s sounds cliché. But it’s true. They’ve always been there for her and her for them. No matter what. Whether it’s needing a person to listen to them or staying over at her house for a week or two. Some call her a social butterfly but she tries to deny it. Erica just likes to be friendly and talk to people. Another most important thing in her life is her studies. Working hard for exams and different homework assignments make her feel complete and satisfied with herself. Wanting a career so she can support her future lifestyle and family, she wants one of the best ones around.

So, you’ve heard her good qualities but not her bad ones. One of the negative traits about her would be the fact that she’s stubborn. So stubborn. Once she starts something, she has to complete it, no matter how sick of it she gets or if she even gets hurt in the process. Some may say it’s a good quality to have but others hate it. Saying she should give some stuff up but this only makes her more motivated to prove them wrong. Another negative trait is that she’s a flirt. Not the whole prissy thing, where she sits in other guys lap or something. It’s more of a subtle one. The one where she makes lingering eye contact and gives the guy a small smile, which makes everyone guessing who her next victim is.

You may like her or you may hate her. I’m not sure of which but whatever you choose, just don’t brag about how great your marks are or how good you look. She may just have to hurt you.

If looks could hurt, then the Marauders would have been rushed to the hospital wing, no questioned asked. A limp strand of hair hung to one side as her bun began to unravel.

"Follow me," McGonagall demandedly hickuped as her lip began to curl. She stood up from her chair and began to manuever around her desk, her cane attached to her right hand.

With a long limp then a hop, McGonagall hobbled over to the door and opened it without looking at a single student that exited her office. If it were not for Dumbledore and her drained temperature, the boys would have been expelled without a question asked, but, after a short visit to Madam Pomfrey's, McGonagall calmed her nerves a bit with a shot of Fire Whiskey.


James looked to the other three, starting with Sirius, then Remus and Peter. A sigh of relief exited his lips before he used the arms of the leather chair to stand up. Shaking his head with a smirk look on his face, he turned towards the door and walked into the hallway, awaiting the wounded professor to lead the way.

Kairi sat in the Slytherin common room, letting the fire warm her. She checked her watch and became aggrivated. Lucius and Diabelle were late meeting her.
She fidgeted a little, growing bored with herself. She stood up and walked quickly out to the hall. She looked around, seeing if they might be headed this way. No such luck.
She walked along the corridors, running her hand across the wall. Kairi heard footsteps around the corner. Thinking it was her friends, she walked towards it. To her horror, it was Mcgonagall. To stunned to do anything, she stayed in plain sight.
Realizing she had to do something, she walked up to her and began to talk. "Professer. Lovely to see you." Kairi put on her prettiest smile and put an innocent look on her face. "Just off to find some friends."

Remus silently returned Jame's glance then stood up and followed him out of Professor McGonagall's office, he was SO ashamed for the first time in his life. How could he not see this coming? Being a prefect and caught red handed with the gang. He should have done something to stop them, a long time ago.

He couldn't help but steal glances from the Professor, her limping ached him by the second. She was old, how could he not stop this? For the second time he stopped at the same question. It was obvious that he never plucked up enough courage to stand against them: James & Sirius. He sighed inwardly and glanced at the girl that just bumped into them, then looked in the other direction. Professor McGonogall was on her last nerve for sure, he wouldn't want to be the one to blow it.

Kairi blushed midly as she saw Sirius. "Must be going." She said in a hurry and went back around the corner. She let out a small sigh and continued with her search. She reached the library and peeked inside. Even more aggrivated than before, she started to walk back to the common room.

Amy leaned against the wall, doing nothing but thinking; thinking about what she had just witnessed. It really was almost an unbelievable sight and she would have thought it was a joke if she hadn't seen it with her own eyes.

Her back scraped against the wall as she pushed off from it. She began to pace up and down a stretch of the hallway, shaking her head a few times in disbelief. Didn't those boys know any better? Especially Remus! For goodness sakes, he was a prefect! How many times had Amy, herself, warned them about their little antics? She liked Remus, really liked him. They had such a close relationship, but she had to admit that it was rather annoying when he couldn't keep a reign on Sirius and James.

Sighing, she slowed to a stop as she approached Professor McGonagall's classroom once more. Glancing down the hall in the direction where the boys had followed an angry McGonagall, Amy pushed her curly hair from her eyes. She had never seen Professor McGonagall so angry before, not since Amy and Remus had been caught nearly snogging in the hallways. Blushing at the memory, she settled against the wall again.

Kairi walked into the common room, resting a moment on the couch. She was very drowsy and hoped that when she woke, they would be easier to find. The loud crackle and pop of the fire soon put her to sleep.

She woke up 10 minutes later and looked around. Kairi couldnt figure out what had made her so tired. She stood and stretched, walking out to the hall.

Lucius and Diabelle were walking silently, coming back from the Quidditch field. Neither of them played Quidditch, of course, they were too delicate and sophisticated for that brutal game, but the Quidditch team captain had some news that had to be kept away from most ears. Lucius was dressed in a set of wonderful green robes that were not the school uniform and was humming to himself softly, playing casually with his wand. Diabelle was walking by him with her steps unheard, only her blue robe, a rain cape, making a sound on the floor. She was carrying two books and appeared to be thinking of something.

'Oh...My, my...if it isn't our brilliant Head Boy.' Lucius said to her with a grin as he saw James Potter in the distance. He clearly had s reason for his grin, but the smile quickly faded.
'There's also McGonagall with them.' Diabelle said with a cool warning.
‘Don’t worry…’Lucius said with an affected voice, looking at her sideways, 'I’m not going to ruin her fun when I can join it.'
‘Good day, Proffesor,’ Diabelle said with her usual professional politeness.
Lucius smirked… ‘Oh, I’d beg to differ…’‘Professor McGonagall, how good to see you… Potter, I see you gave your Head of House reasons to walk tall again.' Lucius looked at the boy, knowing the Gryffindor could not do a thing to him right now. 'Well, Professor, do excuse us from walking out on you, but we’d hate to see you running late on our account. Well now, boys, break a leg!' Lucius wished them and smiled turning around on his heels and going next to Diabelle who was waiting for him a few meters further.

Diabelle was looking at Remus Lupin. The boy had always seemed very sensitive to her, and he was always one of the more rational people at the Prefect’s meetings. What was he doing here with the troublemakers? He sure looked as if he had just assisted at his own funeral. Then her eyes stopped on Black, for a second, measuring him. She only knew him from Regulus’ stories, and she did not know how much truth there was to them. Then she heard Lucius. He always did what he wanted, never listening to anyone’s advice.
