While sitting with the girls James is interested to learn that Lily got Juliet. He decides to keep a secret and to not tell Lily about them being paired together. "Well girlys... seems like none of you are my partner... what a pity... dont you think... Good luck with Petegrew Arwen... your gonna need it." Gets up from the table then walks over and sits next to Sirius and talks with him.

Looks at James with a "shut up" look as he goes. "He's so full of himself... kinda of charming isnt her Lil... oh come on... you really cant hate him so much... I think that act is really just a cover up for you liking him." Grins at Lily. "What do you guys think... hes is kinda of charming, in a way... but I prefer someone else at the time." Thinks about the mascarade and wonders what dress should look like... "This is going to be funn... always did want to dress up in a fancy old style dress."

Arwen looks at Tena "Well looks like I wasnt your friend... I would of remembered. Poor Remus... he must get tired of always trying to keep Sirius and James in line... there lucky he there friend or they most likly would of gotten in more trouble than they already do." Looks at Tena with a concerned face... she didnt know that... "I've never been cursed... and I hope that I never will be cursed. James is a jerk... I just cant help but defend him... he always has been nice to me... even thought I'm from Slytherin. I'm glad you guys are my friends as well... Not all of us Slytherins are horrible... Look at me." Looks at the others with a dont you dare say anything look.

Mark nodded, chuckling slightly with a small grin on his face. He however kept holding her hand as he added.

"I think that's a good idea, makes sense yeh know."

Lina stopped in her tracks, his words repeated in her mind. He wasn't teasing this time, at least she hoped not. If so...god, she didn't want to even think of such thing. Slowly, she turned her head to look at him, and whispered very softly in return.

"You... already are, Heathe...always have been..."

Heathe nodded to show he understood. "Why did it take a ball and shoving from Mark to get us together?" He laughed and moved to hug her. "You truely are brilliant you know?"

Tena smiled at Arwen and sighed. "I truely do feel sorry for Remus. He needs somebody who will look after him, not need him to take care of them." She said looking at him carefully and with a dreamy look in her eyes. "Guys. Please don't tell him, I am Satine. I want him to be surprised tomorrow, when it's one of his friends, even though I wish it were more."

Lina laughed, and quickly moved her arms around his neck for a tight hug. She didn't know what quite to say at first, after all she found herself in Heathe's embrace, which practically left her speechless.

"You wouldn't believe how much I wanted to do this."

She confessed with a blush on her face.

Lina laughed silently against his shoulder, trying to cover up her blush on her face.

"Hopefully you don't mind strawberries."

She commented softly.

Jessyrah tried not to blush when she realised that Mark was still holding her hand but knew that she was failing in that department so she tried to spark up a rather lame conversation by asking, "You wouldn't happen to know anything about sewing or designing clothes with magic, would you?"

What I mean is that, I design clothes, costumes, and robes for Madame Malkin's store and... I was planning on making the dress for this ball and I was just wondering if you knew how and we could... you know, work together?"

Mark's eyes quickly widen at the realization of this and made a big 'Ohhh' sound. He seemeded to quite impressed with this skill she had and chuckled.

"Ah, ok, well I wouldn't mind working with you at all. Gives me more time to know yeh better."

He smiled at her and added.

"I had no idea you worked there. You must be very good to work in a shop like that."

A thought just then jumped in his head. That could mean he and his partner could have the best costumes ever...And to see the look on everyone's faces...Oh...how glorious...

Jessyrah couldn't conceal her smile when Mark complimented her so graciously and she said, "We must start almost immediately since I'm not sure how long it will take to make a ballroom gown and a formal for you..." She paused, in deep thought with herself, and said, "We'll need several shades of green, a touch of brown, and some deep blues to make it all fall together, not to mention a load of glitter for mine and...well, probably satin and silk for yours." Her eyes lit up as she began piecing together the clothes in her mind, momentarily distracted as she thought out loud, "We can get most of that from Madame Malkin, I've just got to send her an owl explaning the situation..."

"Um not to be rude or anything but what do you mean by "relieved" Aura said inoccently looking a bit hurt.

Remus chuckled quietly at Sirius' appointment of 'Prince Charming'. Well, one could not deny that Sirius did try to be as charming as possible, hence why Remus had once made a joke of nicknaming him 'Mr. Charming'. Sirius would definetely be pleased with his role.

Realizing it was safe to tell Raine, as she wasn't his date, he whispered, "I'm Christian from Moulin Rouge. But please, do not tell anyone. Otherwise I'll have to... er... well, I won't be so generous with helping people study for tests or copy off my homework..."

Already feeling guilty at himself for telling a few people himself, Remus vowed to himself to shut his mouth up for the rest of the time in the Great Hall until the next morning. Obviously, this vow did not work, for he said, "Hello, Kristena," as she greeted him. "Er, how are you doing? Eardrums still all right from all that noise?"

James sees Remus and calls him over. "Hey Remus... where you been... Oh yeah... I know who your partner... but after I found out... I think they want it to be a surprise... Kinda of like what I'm doing... and I know if they found out that I told you they might be upset... and I dont want her to be upset with me and yeah... I havent told you have I? I got paired up with Lily... dont tell her... but I wanted to do it like this cuz I knew she most likly over react... you know shes not fond of me... I dont know... I dont get why she hates me... sure the whole cursing people doesnt help... maybe I should stop that for a while. But I want to make a point to her... I'm going to dress up all fancy... going to show her a nice time... change my voice so she cant tell. Then towards the end of the ball I'm going to tell her who I am... I dont know... maybe she'll like me more after that." Thinks about what he just said... I cant believe I just said all that... those were his most secret and truthful feelings. Looks around... notices that no one heard what he said except for Remus and possibly Sirius. "You cant tell anyone I said that, got it... I kinda just poored out my feelings... feelings that I dont want people to know. Just promise not to tell." Shakes his head as if saying I know I can count on you. Then continues to talk with Sirius.

OOC:I believe I made it so that he was evesdropping on the girls when you told them so he found out ... but i was going to say to Remus that while james was evesdropping that he found out who his date was... but that would make it to obvious so i didnt go into detail.
