Mark frowned at this and mumbled something about Heathe being unfair and hogging all this cute gurls. He then lift his head up to smile at Lina and said.

"Yeah, what he said. So....Lina...who exactly do you want to be with in the party-thing? Just curious..."

He turned to give his friend a wink before gazing back at her.

Lina nodded at Heathe with a smile, and replied softly.

"Yeah, exactly. And I am not quite sure...I wasn't really paying much attention..."

She turned to look at Mark and bit her bottom lip.

"Oh...I'm not sure....."

She clearly lyed, looking away.

Jett sat at the Gryffindor table, his mouth hanging open after the Headmaster's announcement of the masquerade ball thinking to himself, How exactly, are we supposed to get paired? I know that he didn't just say it was random.... When his slip of paper was passed to him, he opened it and read from it the name 'Mark Anthony,' wondering with amused bewilderment who his Cleopatra would be.

Jessyrah looked shyly at the slip of paper that had been handed to her and almost read aloud the name that was written on it, but not wanting anyone to hear that she had been dubbed 'Eve,' and not even sure she wanted to meet 'Adam,' she held her tongue.

DV grinned widely and ran a finger through his wild braids, his white teeth contrasting heavily with his dark skin as he proudly waved about the piece of paper that declared him 'King Arthur,' and shouting, "Who's got Guinevere?"

Lina swallowed, and blush slightly, her mouth opened to say something until she received a piece of paper.

"...What's this...?"

She blinked, opening it up to reveal the name Christine.

"Christine...? Is that who I'll be as? As in the musical...Phantom of the Opera...?"

"Hmm....Gimme that!"

Mark grabbed the bucket of pieces of paper, taking out a name. He blinked, staring down at it for a moment.

"Eh? I can't even read this! What the heck?!"

Peter was passed his peice of paper, "What's this for?" He asked himself opening the peice of paper "Rhett, ok...I wonder who got the other half, whoever it is isn't going to want to go with me...."

Raine listened to Dumbledore as he announced the masquerade. "Aw man this is gunna be so cool! she said to her friends. 'I hope I pink Sirius' she thought. She continiued to finish her dessert.

Devan was excited about this also, now he didnt have to to through the hassle of worry about who to go with. "So who do you guys hope to go with" he asked to everyone, not really one specific person.

OoC: Well, I remember that Peter is supposed to use a love potion because he doesn't think anyone will want to go with him, lol. Anyway, Victoria, I sent you a PM, so whenever you get it just reply back, and I made up some other ideas besides the one i joked about. *is also jealous about the Phantom and Christine being taken*

Remus had not gotten his piece of paper yet, but looked over at James, Sirius, and Peter. "Well, this ought to be interesting, shouldn't it?" He really hoped that whoever he himself was getting would enjoy his prescence. As well, he sincerely hoped that the masquerade wouldn't be on a full moon... but then, Dumbledore would have probably taken accord of that in his plans, and so everything should have turned out okay.

Raine recived the bucket and drew a slip of paper. "Cinderella" she murmured. "Hmm I wonder who Prince Charming is..." she said.

Devan was next and he drew "Danny" he said. "heh I'm a biker dude" he said.

Mark grinned widely and gave his friend a silly expression.

"Hey, thanks man. So I'm Adam, huh? That's kool, whose Eve then?"

Lina made a face at this and laughed lightly, her eyes shown bright with excitement.

"It's hard to believe that Mark would play as the first guy to live in Earth...kinda gives me the chills here..."

"Hey! I'm the hottest guy ever lived in this planet, that doesn't shock yeh, does it, huh?"

He replied with another one of his grins before noticing Heathe, and the odd expression on his face.

"...So....er....who did yeh get?"

Lina glanced over at Heathe, waiting for his answer as she absentmindly gripped onto the edge of the table.

"Hopefully it's no one bad..."

She commented softly.

Mark quickly turned to gaze at the girl, and grinned, quickly getting up from his seat to walk over to her.

"Sorry Heathe, be right back. I just gotta say hi to that cutie over there who's my partner."

Lina glanced at Mark and laughed to herself, wanting to roll her eyes. But the fact that he seemed quite content led her to just smile.

"Whatever Mark."

"Well hello there! Actually I am."

Lily sighed, staring at her full plate of food until her heard Dumbledore's announcement and glanced up, which left her staring into space. Looking around she saw that some people had gotten their papers already and were fumbling around, looking for their matches. She heard her friend Tena's comment, snapping her back into reality, "Umm yeah, sounds like fun," she said plainly. The bucket holding slips of paper was soon passed to her. She took one out and opened it, "I got Juliet," she said smiling slightly, "at least I'll know what to wear."

Lina's jaw dropped for that moment. What luck she had! She quickly replaced this action with a cough, covering her mouth with her hand, before smiling at him brightly.

"Oh...I wouldn't mind at all actually...I'm just glad I didn't have anyone....else- I mean, from another house."

Looks at his slip... it said Romeo in nice letters... "so that must mean I must find my Juliet... Hey Evans, who did you get? Wouldnt have gotten Juliet by any chance would you... if so meet I know who your paired up with... Meet your partner cuz I'm Romeo!"

*Arwen looks at the basket and grabs one of the sheets...* "looks like I got Scarlet... I wonder who my partner is? Who was Scarlets partner anyways... all I remember is shes in Gone with the Wind." *Looks around seeing if anyones looking for Scarlet.* "I've always loved Gone with the Wind and I've always wanted to take part in a masqurades."

Heathe smiled at this, although it came out like a smirk. "I am glad you approve." As do I! "Would you mind if escort you from the common room Carolina?" He had a deep Scottish accent and her name seemed to roll off his tongue in avery exotic way.

Lina just loved the way he said her name, and actually shivered from it pleasantly. She then quickly shifted in her seat, hoping he hadn't noticed.

"I wouldn't mind at all, actually."

She gave him a small smile, before she stood up from her seat. Lina then added softly, not realizing it had slipped from her lips.

"Always did enjoy your company."

Lina 's hand quickly jumped to touch her lips, unable to say anything for that moment. A small blush appeared on her cheeks and she looked away, replying softly.

"That sounds just fine...Heathe."

She then realized she was now on her feet for some reason, and remained quiet for a moment. Just being around him at times made her do such odd things.
