Oh god, what a horrible situation to be in....Lina thought, unable to repress the blush on her face. She didn't know what to say.

"It doesn't matter, Heathe."

Was the only response she could think of before burying her head against his shoulder, she didn't want him to see her blush like that, nor worry him, so she disguised this movement with a small embrace.

Lina smiled against his lips after the dip, clearly impressed. Her arms moved back to around his neck as she returned his kiss softly, her eyes bright. Even though they had their 'moments', she couldn't help but smile. She enjoyed being with her boyfriend, and that's all that matters.

"Thank you Heathe...."

She replied with another small blush, and gave him another kiss before adding.

"I never knew you were such a great dancer....I'm impressed."

Lina gazed up at him, listened to his story with interest. Slowly however, the flush on her cheeks faded as he watched him shudder from mentioning his father and the dances. She remained quiet for a moment, unable to respond.

"Oh..."

Was all she could say, a weak smile on his face.

"Well....let's forget about that mon amour..."

She stood up on her toes and pressed a soft kiss on his lips.

"I wouldn't mind at all."

Lina smiled brightly as he kissed the top of her hand, making her shiver very slightly.

"Besides, this place is filled with too many other houses for my taste."

Lina turned her head away from Heathe, to stare out at the lake. It was beautiful. The moon reflected itself from the lake, casting a silver glow along the water. Of course this was ok!

"It's gorgeous. How can I refuse?"

She smiled, and turned to kiss his check before moving out towards the water.

Lina seemed to study him for that moment as he rambled, a small bright smile spreading across her lips.

"No....no....I don't mind...What you said was beautiful yeh know..."

OoC: I'm leaving for my vacation tomorrow, and I won't be back until the 19th. Sadly there won't be any computers for me to use (and if there were, my parents probably wouldn't let me go use them anyway). Can't you just see me already going through withdrawal? Bye! *hugs and chocolate*
By the way, Tori, I'm so sorry for not posting Remus in a very long time! But I can't post now because I've just got half an hour to finish up everything I need to do online. While on vacation I'll think up a nice lovely Remus post and post it when I get back.

OoC: Oh Tori. I have owed you a post since forever! Over a month. First there was Grease, and then vacation, then finishing summer homework, then school, then school homework... but yes, I am posting. I think everyone left, though. Actually, I think Lita said that Cola needs to post and then she'll come back and post, but I don't know whether it's Raine or Sirius' turn to post. *shrugs* Anyway, here's my post. It's sadly not as good as the one I came up with and then forgot over a few days.

Remus smiled to himself as Tena wholeheartily agreed to his indirect question and then rested against him. This masquerade thing certainly wasn't as bad as he'd thought. It had definitely been worth having to dress up and wear a mask just to have finally been able to be with Tena, to talk with Tena, to dance with Tena, to ask out Tena, to kiss Tena...

"You know, the masquerade is nearly over," he said sometime later. Again, he'd been so caught up, he didn't know how long he'd been there with her. It didn't matter. She was with him. "It was a beautiful time. You enjoyed it, right?.." There was something else he wanted to say. But no- that was stupid, they'd only been with each other for about six hours, and it was only one of those hours during which he knew the identity of Satine. And yet, they had danced, kissed, things they had never done before, so what would it harm to tell Tena that he loved her? No. Not now. Maybe tomorrow.
