ooc- i know i need to stop doing this but...............this is to replace my last post

Shelly smiled,"Sure,"she stood up and started gathering everything she'd.......need(for lack of a better word).She didn't notice the 'half-scowl' DV had given their surroundings, she just thought that it'd be nice to go somewhere that wasn't so crowded.

Mark looked suprised and for the first time in his life, he didn't know to respond to the girl. He just stared at her, while a grin slowly crept across his lips.

"Till... tomorrow, Jessyrah."

He managed to reply, and gave her a small embrace before walking off. He didn't quite understand what just occured, but he sure did enjoy her kiss. He continued to grin, and actually began to whistle down the hallway.

"Oh, I hope so," said Remus. "I've never been to anything like this before. Neither have I dressed up in a costume either, with the exception of a few Halloweens when I was younger." He watched her as she wasn't looking at him, then diverted his eyes to the long hallways so she wouldn't notice. In the pit of his stomach, there was still this odd feeling floating around there, one that felt as if he was really wishing that she would turn out to be her partner after all... "And you? I suspect you'll probably have a good time as well?"

Heathe grinned, although once again, it coming out as an evil smirk. "Idon't know, but I was not going to push you into anything. I have liked you for many years Carolina, and this must be fate." He moved a hand to her chin and made her look into his eyes. "Are you one hundred percent sure this is what you want?"

Kristena smiled at what Remus had said. "Halloween. The time when you can confront your fears, mimick then, make fun of them and not be scared." She looked at the ground, suddenly feeling stupid for that speculation. "I'm guessing I will. I won't let myself bore to death. Party's and Ball's are meant to be for fun. So that's what I'm going to have." She said watching him while he was looking ahead, and then once again, averting her eyes.

OOC: *lol* It's fine.

DV jumped up, grabbed a couple of rolls and a few other things that he could fit in his pockets and said, "To the lake, then. The Great Hall is... well, great, but it gets boring after too long." Linking arms with Shelly, DV smiled and started walking outside.

"Tomorrow," Jessyrah repeated, grinning, as she half-walked half-bounced back to the Fat Lady, not even minding the scowl she wore as she went into the common room, unable to suppress several girlish giggles and wondering what was wrong with her.

Shelly smiled and walked out of the great hall,"I agree. It also gets too crowded for my liking."she hated large crowds, especially loud ones.

Carolina gently took his hand from her chin, and weaved her fingers around his own, as she replied.

"A hundred and one percent sure."

She laughed quietly, and glanced down at their hands for a brief moment, trying to think over what she was about to say.

"Heathe....I want you to know...that...you mean alot to me...always have ever since...I met you. And I couldn't lie to you, I am completely sure...that I want you."

Mark suddenly burst into the Slytherin common room, yelling.

"HEATHE! LINA! Get over here! I gotta tell you something important!"

He paused, now glancing around the room. No one was there. And there was no response or yell to shut up. He blinked, and inched towards the window.

"What the- Where are they? How can they just leave me when I have to tell them about this girl!?"

He seemed frustated, and tried to think about where Heathe was heading with Lina earlier...Outside, he mentioned walking outside in the Great Hall...

"Ah ha! Outside it is then!"

Mark grinned and quickly left the common room, racing down the hallway.

Remus merely nodded and gave a tiny smile at Kristena's words about Halloween, trying not to think of a certain something that he parallelled to that. To be honest, Halloween, fun as it was (after all, who could resist getting free chocolate?), just always reminded him even more of the fact that he was a werewolf. And then there was those movies that the Muggles made about them, with those horrible cheesy looking werewolves who always ended up being killed in the end by a silver bullet. Then again, most all the Muggle movies dealing with wizard things were laughable because of the ideas they had, so wasn't it all for the best that he laughed at them? "Yes, that's right," he agreed with her. "It seems Dumbledore has decided to give us some time to just enjoy ourselves without the stress of any school work, so it's better to take it and have our fun while we can. Save us time to be worried about our N.E.W.T.s."

Lina wasn't expecting his kiss at all, and at first could not even reply to his suggestion. She had a rosy flush on her cheeks and her gaze was still up at Heathe.

"I...Mark, yes. We should try to find...him, I never did trust him all by himself..."

And just when she finished speaking, a yell sounded behind them.

"THERE YOU TWO ARE!"

Yelled Mark, who ran up to meet the couple. His eyes then suddenly went to Lina's and Heathe's hands, which were still weaved together, and then how close they were. He paused for a moment, and quickly broke out in a huge grin.

"Ah ha! I caught you both! Heh, great job Heathe, I always had faith in you. And Lina, may I say you just look lovely in a blush..."

He laughed to himself, quite pleased for his two friends.

Tena nodded. "And for that I am grateful. I personally don't cope well with stress and having some scedualed time to relax will help so much." She said, suddenly feeling very stupid for rambling. "Sorry... I should just... yeah. I'll shut up now." Tena said as she looked at the floor. Why can't I stop rambling?

Heathe looked down at Carolina and drew ahand across her cheek as he heard his best friend yelling at them. He turned his head, but didn't move his body away from Carolina. "If you are finished embarrasing Carolina, could we possibly go inside." He said, more of a comand than a question.

Lina made a small noise, sounding possibly like a groan. She placed her head against Heathe's chest and looked away from Mark, her arms slipped from around his neck.

"Thanks Mark for that...Let's just go inside then..."

Mark blinked from his friends' odd reactions and soon realized he must have interrupted something. He blushed very slightly at the thought and just shrugged.

"Inside it is then."

He wanted to say something more, maybe a tease about them being so close together, but hey...he didn't want them even more annoyed. So instead, he said.

"When we get to the common room, I gotta tell you guys something."

Shelly smiled and took the "seat" offered. She looked down at the roll in her hands before starting to pick at it tossing some to the giant squid every now and then.

OOC: *in California*

Heathe smiled at Carolina and leant down to his the cheek shielded by her face so that Mark couldn't lip read. "We will be alone together, it might take a while though." He looked at Mark and nodded. Leaving an arm around Carolina's waist he led her and Mark inside to the common room. "What were you saying Mark?"

Is Chloe here?

*Shrugs*

"I was saying, that I wanted to tell you guys about something...very important."

A huge grin was on Mark's face, and he paused for a moment to get inside the Slytherin common room. His voice echoed from there.

"I met my partner, and may I say she's a hottie! And yet I never seen her before, crazy, huh? Probly cause she's from another house I guess..."

Lina had an arm tied around Heathe's waist as she followed Mark, listening quietly. She tried her best to focus on what her friend had been saying...but Heathe just standing there threw her off slightly.

"Oh....uh....well, what house is she from then? That's pretty important if you ask me...I mean, what happens if she's....you know....them."

Mark suddenly made a face and turned to stare at Lina.

"No way....she couldn't be. She's like...perfect. That's...just bloody impossible!"

OOC: hey I got sick and things have been hectic would soemmone mind filling me in?

OOC: Everyone's meeting their partners. CAN WE MOVE THIS ALONG PLEASE? Maybe we should fast-forward to the next day, huh?

OOC: *throws a hand in the air* Hurrah!

Jessyrah skipped to the Great Hall for part of the way before she realized what she was doing and, grinning stupidly to herself, she took a much more calm pace. She sat down gracefully at the Gryffindor table and, placing her chin gently on her hand, sighed contentedly. She opened a notebook that she carried around with her and began to sketch the costumes that she would be making for the dance.

"Find your partner all right?" Jett asked as he sat down next to Jessa with his impeccible manners intact even after the eventful day before. She nodded and he sighed, saying, "Yeah, me too."

DV jumped onto the bench at the Ravenclaw table and jumped again, putting his feet between the table and the bench so that he landed on the plank of wood that would be his seat for the morning. Chewing happily on a bit of sausage, he hummed absentmindedly to himself as he waved her fork around like he was conducting an orchestra.
