OOC: My charries: DV talking to Shelly (I think ), Jett talking to Aura, who is missing in action, and Jessa talking with Mark in the Owlery.

Jett flipped aroud suddenly when Aura called him back the defeated look still on his face from the let down that she'd given him but a little hope flickered behind his eyes at her apology. He nodded and sat back down again, gingerly as if she might change her mind again at any moment. As much as he scoffed at these parties, he couldn't imagine being the only person to stay back in the common room. And besides, he was actually looking forward to spending this one with Aura. "Umm... so do you know what color we should... wear?" he asked slowly, scratching the back of his neck somewhat uncomfortably.

"But of course." Heathe said witha grin. He moved up behind her until their bodies were pressed together and he whispered in her ear. "But you are the only special one my mind can handle."

Tena shrugged, hoping that he would take it as a 'I don't want to talk about.' Rather than a sign that she didn't know. I wouldn't do to have him fing out now, that she was actually his date. "I don't know, but he could be." Sorry Remus for lying to you, I have to keep it a surprise.

ooc-this is to replace my last -yet again lame- post. So sorry if it causes any inconveniences. But, as far as I know it would only effect one person and they haven't even replied yet so................

SHelly looked at DV horrified. She hated to be the center of attention or anything like that. She usually only liked being around a small group of people and even then she was always the quiet one.

"Y-Yeah," Jett said, still uncertainly. "Dark red, I... I would think," he said, getting somewhat excited about the ball once more. "After all, our love was a result of the death of Caesar..." he said, trying to lighten the mood a bit.

DV lowered his foot back to the ground, all traces of a smile vanishing as he said, "Sorry, Shelly, I won't do it again." He grinned as he added with a wink, "Even if you are pretty when you blush."

OOC: What House is Shelly in?

Devan continued to slidh his feet in the water of the lake on the grounds. Unable to find who Sandy was he sighed.

Raine looked around searching for Sirius. She spotted Remus and Tena and walked over. Hoping she wasn't interupting anything, "Hey umm have either of you seen Sirius?" she asked.

His whisper in her ear, and the fact that she was that close to Heathe, gave her a shiver. She absentmindly closed her eyes for that moment, allowing his words to echo in her thoughts before she was able to respond.

"Is that so....?

Lina asked quietly, shifting so that she now was facing him, her body pressed against his.

"Or is that a cover-up for dating another girl...?"

She teased, trying to hide her actual emotions to what he had just said.

OOC: Sorry!! I didn't even see your post for Mark.

Jessyrah was overcome by a sudden and quite unexpected blush as Mark took her hand and she stood there for a moment or two before she realized that he'd even asked her a question. Stumbling over her words, she said, "It's...uhh... follow m-me. I can... take you there... if y-you want..."

Hehe, It's perfectly alright. ^.^

Mark was rather pleased with her blush and nodded with a bright grin on his face.

"I wouldn't mind really... Lead the way, Eve."

"Uh...that's really interesting. I don't think I've every talked to a girl who opened up to me like that before."

Mark told her quietly, quite happy about this. He had no idea she was just speaking because of her nerves. He actually felt rather flattered by all this and smiled at her.

"It's very nice of yeh, yeh know. Well..."

He glanced at the portait of the Fat Lady and sighed.

"See you tomorrow then to work on the costumes?"

Heathe wrapped his arms around her waist tighter so that she could lean back without fear of falling. "Why would I lie to you madam. When the prettiest girl at Hogwart's is standig in-front of me. Teasing me for all she's worth?" He smiled at her, although the smile turned-out to be more of a twisted smirk.



"I was just wondering that. We don't get balls very often. So I am going to enjoy it, no matter who my partner is." Tena replied with a smile. It will be brilliant because I am your partner Remus. I just know it will. "Do you think you will have a good time?"

"It's alright,"Shelly said quietly. She then blushed at the blushing comment. Which being the situation just made her blush even more. She smiled and looked at him accusingly,''You did that on purpose."

Okay,''Shelly saw his scowl and smiled''You're one of those people who can't stay in one place for like 5 sec. aren't?"

Lina blushed at, and smiled brightly at him. She couldn't believe her luck. Here she was standing right infront of Heathe Malfoy, pretty much the hottest guy in school, flattering her with such a claim, and holding onto her waist. She had to think of something clever in respond..

"Someone with your looks, I wouldn't be suprised with you found someone much better..."

She replied softly, as her arms wrapped around his neck.

"Do you truly mean it Heathe?"

Mark gave her the oddest expression, blinking as she turned away from him.

"Um...alright....bye..."

Did she have some kind of illness...or maybe she just disliked him...This never did happen to him before with a girl...He thought to himself, not able to understand her weird behavior. He then sighed, turned around, and headed back to his common room, hoping Lina and Heathe were there to listen to his story.

Lina received goose-bumps from Heathe's two kisses, and blushed pink. She tilted her head a bit, and stared up into his eyes, one hand brushed gently at the back of his neck.

"Of course I feel the same way..."

She replied softly, a smile swept across her lips.

"How could I not feel that way with you?"
