"Well.." Edmund said, frowning. "Aslan told me not to talk about it. He told me I was forgiven..." his voice trailed off.

"It's because she was plain evil," Lucy said without hesitation.

"Lucy!" Peter said trying to make her be quiet about the whole thing

Lilia sighed.
"Well, talking about her makes me shiver."

Lucy's mouth straightened into a line and she dared not to say anything more. Her cheeks flushed a bit from being reprimanded by her brother in front of strangers, but knew that look only too well.

"I know but we shouldn't talk about it anymore!" He said to his brother "So umm." He startedbut couldn't think of anything alse to say.

Lilia could see Peter was trying.
"Nice weather,eh?"

"Nothing." He said still laughing a little bit. He then stoped laughing so he wouldn't do anything stupid infront of everyone. "So why are we all here?" he asked once more

"Can we get back to the topic of WHY we are here now?" Mr. Beaver asked.

Susan sat back, watching the entire conversation. She took in everything, trying to figure out what was going on. "Okay, Quiet!!!!" she said, raising her voice loud enough so that everyone could hear her. "I don't think any information, stories, or anything else should be discussed until Aslan has told us what he wanted. That is why we are here." Queen Susan said giving a piercing stare to everyone in the room, very strange to her normal characteristic. But, this was a very strange situation. And Peter wasn't doing the job he should be.

The Beavers were confused by Susan's attitude but decided to let it go while they waited.

Aslan stood. "Enough!" he said, his voice partly a roar. "We are here because there is trouble in our kingdom, a new type of magic..." he said, gazing around the room. "There have been strange attacks and I fear a new war is starting. Susan has called you all here because we will need all of your help," he said, gazing at the new arrivals.

"What type of new magic is this?" Clair asked, wincing as her voice echoed through the hall. She blushed, aware of Peter's eyes watching her.

Aslan looked at Clair. "That is a good question, he said, his voice echoing through the room. He walked over to a floor length mirror that hung on the wall not too far away from him. "I will show you all," he said and turned to the mirror. He blew onto the mirror and the glass fogged up for a moment. Then it revealed a scene:
About a half dozen or so people, dressed in black cloaks walked along a forest. You couldn't see their faces, for they were hidded behind masks. They walked along the path, each one holding something in their hand. Occasionally there were flashes of light, and a small sound of an animal in pain. After each, there would be some laughter from the group as they continued along. Behing these people, were many creatures. Most were unrecognizable because they were hidden within the forest's darkness, all you could see were their eyes.

Clair was still gazing at the people in the mirror. "Deatheaters," she whispered, her eyes now filled with cold rage. "How did they get here?" she asked, her voice still in a whisper.
