Dora beamed at Silas as he emerged from upstairs. She threw her arms around him in an indecent way in front of company and said, "Did you sleep well my darling?"
She smiled and looked from Calla to Silas and said, "Yes, this is Calla, love. You don't have to run off if you'd like to stay and visit a while with us, you are more than welcome. We were just beginning to wonder where June has gotten to. She is from the Department of Mysteries isn't that interesting." She said to him and she peeled herself off of him.
"Also, I have some ideas about the house and the nursery I would ike to discuss with you later, Silas. that boring old talk can wait until later though." she said smiling and going around to the fridge to get him some juice.

He paused, wondering why Dora hadn't woken him up. "Hi... Calla, right?" He turned to the other woman in the room.

Calla saw a man emerge from the stairs. He seemed, in appearance at least, a complete opposite of Dora. It was obvious she was madly in love with this man. And even though they seemed like polar opposites they seemed to compliment each other nicely. “Hi, nice to met you,” Calla said as she pulled her hair back from her face. “Yea I think June running late. I’m sure she’ll send her patronus if she needs any help” Hopping her hind end on to Dora counter top Calla asked, “So how long have ya’ll been dating?” As she finished the question she grabbed a small chunk of her hair and started to braid it.
Ooc: Juniper just informed me she’s having comp probs, and will be along as soon as possible
Dora giggled and said, "Go ahead dear. Sit on my cooking surface. I actually think I 'll join you." She went over and hopped up on the counter beside her and sighed. "Hmmm... let's see. We met working on a case together. He's with Accidental Magic Reversal and they were shorthanded so we ran over to assist. After that we didn't really see one another again until I set some files on fire and apparated out of the office, Mel collapsed because of the baby's lycanthopy, and he sent me a memo to let me know when I arrived back to the Ministry. It was one hell of a night, I tell you! The next day I wound up breaking his nose, repairing it and then he asked me out." she went through their little story and realized how messed up they sounded. Boy, if Calla even knew the half of it. "We have been pretty inseperable since then. He is really the kindest man I have ever known. He has helped me through a tough time and I love him."
She hopped down from the counter and went over and gripped his hand tightly and smiled up at him.

"Quite well, actually," he replied, smiling at her. He looked surprised when she mentioned ideas about the house and nursery. She wanted his opinion? "Well, I'll help you with whatever." Silas stole a glance at Calla, "but yes, we can talk later."

"Nice to meet you as well, Calla," Silas extended his hand to shake hers. He paused to consider her question. Well, when had it gone from practically hexing each other every step of the way to where they were? Silas really wasn't sure... but then Dora began to speak.

She hopped down from the counter and went over and gripped his hand tightly and smiled up at him.
"Yep, that's about it," Silas chuckled. They certainly had gotten off to a rocky start. Squeezing her hand, he smiled at her. "I do think I'll be going... let you two have some time together without me hovering." Silas grabbed a glass of juice.
Dora put on a pouty face when Silas said he was going to leave...pout pout pout! She then started to giggle and said, "I don't blame you love. It will probably be a lot of silly girl talk and pillow fights and the whole lot. It would be just dreadful for you, really." She grinned mischieviously.
Dora had stars in her eyes after visiting Mel and Selene again today...little baby shaped stars and Silas was Mister right.... She really wanted him to help her set the nursery up, he had offered to help decorate and the unplottable thing, well that took some work and mister bookworm here was just the guy to help her. There was nothing more important than them being safe in her house. Everyone needed to be able to visit without having to worry about being mowed down or something crazy like that.
"Will you be going to your flat tonight love?" Dora asked as casually as she could but her brow furrowed and she was very worried for his safety.
"Exactly," he chuckled as Dora pouted at him. He playfully poked her nose with his finger. She certainly looked like she was in a good mood, and a good mood made him feel better about leaving.
"Hmm? Yes, I'm going to my flat... where else would I go?" Silas looked at her a little confused, before recognizing a look of concern in her furrowed brow.
"It will be fine. The worst thing there is some dust bunnies from having been away... well, that and the dinner I was making that one night before I came over to 'quickly' feed the cat..." Silas laughed and gave Dora a quick kiss.
"Alright, off then. Nice to meet you Calla." And with that Silas moved toward the door.
Dora wrinkled her nose at him when he oked it and stuck out her tongue. She didn't feel hurt with his leaving, she was in fantastic company and in high spirits.
Her brow still furrowed she simply nodded her head at him and waved it off. He knew why she was concerned, but they woiuld not discuss it here and now.
He announced his leaving and before he could get out the door she grabbed him, spun him around, and said, "What kind of farewell was that, love?" She snaked her arms around his neck and stood on tiptoe to kiss him goodbye. "There, now you can go. I love you" she said as she released him from her grips.
A silver giraffe bounded straight for Calla. When it spoke it was Juniper's voice. "Calla, Dora, I'm lost! I have no idea where I am and I can't find your place, Dora. Would it possible for one of you to follow the giraffe and bring me to Dora's? I can't apperate or I would. I'm sorry!!" The giraffe stood waiting to see if anyone would follow.

Calla continued to fiddle with her hair while Dora and Silas explained their relationship. “Wow, sounds interesting so far!” Calla giggled. It seemed their relationship, even for being so new had been through a lot of ups and downs. “Yea pillow fights, talks of hottie celebrities, what outfit makes our butts look big, you know all that horrible junk boys hate!” Calla was cracking herself up.
Calla watched the ‘good-byes’ unfold, and couldn’t help but feel a little jealous of what they had. Jealous, but also happy for them; it’s funny how emotions can be so opposite at times. “Yes, it was wonderful to met you too Silas!” Calla dropped her hair mid-braid and waved him off. Dora went in for one more good-bye and then Silas slinked out the door. “He seems wonderful Dora, and it appears that he makes you wonderfully happy.” Calla was going to continue, but was interrupted by Juniper’s patronus. A giraffe? Calla peered at Dora with a look that seemed to imply what in the world – and then giggled. Her face turned serious as the giraffe spoke for June.
“Err, I wasn’t going to let her little secret out of the bag, she never learned to apparate. She’s awfully embarrassed by it.” Calla shrugged at Dora, “Well do you happen to have a broom I might borrow for a moment, I’ll find her and then apparate back with her.” Calla couldn’t help but be amused with the situation.
Dora smiled as June's giraffe Patronus said she was lost.
"Do I have a broom? Me? Of course!! Follow me dear." she said with a smirk and went toward the closet in her foyer. She shot the haughty little mirror a fierce glance and opened the door. Inside were her pride and joys. 4 high quality racing brooms. "I think the Moontrimmer will be the best. Have a go on it. It's one of the fastest." Dora said with a wide smile on her face.

Calla followed Dora to the closet, it was apparent as she opened the door she was serious about her brooms. “So, do you ever play Quidditch?” Calla assumed she might be part of some sort of neighborhood or community league given her love of the sport, and her extensive (and expensive) collection of brooms.
Calla took the moontrimmer from Dora and looked it over, it was a very nice broom. “Thanks, I’ll be back with June in no time,” Calla said with a chuckle. She opened the door, mounted the broom and chased after the galloping giraffe.
~~
20 minutes later there was a pop outside Dora’s fence. Calla had a broom in one hand and Juniper on the other. Dropping her grasp on Juniper she groped around her pocket to get her wand out, “Expecto Patronum”. Calla’s chihuahua patronus headed toward Dora’s house.
Turning to Juniper she said, “I don’t know if she has her protection charms back up – but I rather be safe than sorry. She says she has them for privacy, but I think they’re for protection.” Glancing back at Dora’s house, “Protection from what I have no idea.” The thought gave Calla a shiver and she peered up and down the street. “Either way, I figure we’re safe.” Calla smiled lightly and peered toward the house waiting for Dora to emerge.
Dora was in the living room dancing in circles when Calla's chihuahua materialized in front of her and announced their arrival. Dora stopped mid spin and rushed to the door. Waving her arms she said, "Come on up you two!" She turned and went back in the house and turned the music down some. Her wireless was turned up quite loud after all.
She had changed into a comfy pair of blue jeans (with holes in the knees) and a long sleeved Gryffindor Quidditch shirt. It was basically vintage, Dora was so old.
Juniper walked in to Dora's house. "I'm sorry I got here so late! I got myself lost and I thought about apparating but then I remembered it never works out for me and I haven't passed the test. I love your place Dora its beautiful." She rambled on trying to apologize and change the subject all in one breath. "How did you find a place like this?"
Dora smiled brightly and welcomed June into her home. "No need to apologize, it is diffiuclt to find the place by any other means than apparation." she said with a hearty laugh.
"Thank you! I actually inherited this place from my uncle after he passed on. I always loved this place so much and couldn't imagine not coming here to live." she said with a sigh. "Come, come. Put your things down and have a seat." Dora exclaimed flicking her wand toward a chair and motioning for her to sit.

"It really is a beautiful house, but I've only seen the entry way and the kitchen, when do I get a tour?" Calla said as she bounced back and forth. "Oh!" She grabbed her over night bag, reached inside and pulled out uno, monopoly, sorry, and twister. "I brought these just incase!"
Juniper sat her bag down and took the seat Dora offered. She watched as Calla pulled some things out of her bag. What are those things? They must be muggle things, as she had never seen them before. "Umm, Calla, what are those things? And what did you call them again?" Juniper hoped that not knowing these things wouldn't cause a problem, she really wanted to fit in with the two girls. She needed more friends, desperately.

"Oh, sorry Juniper, I forgot you're one of those purebloods," Calla playfully made a very snotty, dismissing face when she said the last word - then giggled at herself. "They're call games, they're things that muggle children play to pass the time, they're easy to learn. I'm sure you'll like them!" Calla gave June a reassuring smile. It was odd, Calla was usually the one that felt out of place.
"So Dora," Calla started trying to sound super mysterious (to help the tone she also raised her right eyebrow just slightly), "you and Silas have any plans for the future? Or ya'll takening it one day at a time sorta thing?"
Dora furrowed her brow for a moment and then said, "I'd rather show you the property then the house, if that's okay. Silas set up some pretty fun stuff out back." SHe couldn't remember if she had fixed the hole in the hallway wall downstairs. SHe would caution a glance later. It was still light enough outside to show off her pride and joy. "Thank you for the compliment on my home Calla. It really was not much of my doing. I just added some color. THe house has always been lovely." she said with a smirk.
"June, don't worry dear. I am half- blood and some of these things I have no idea what they are!" she exclaimed with a laugh. "Hopefully we'll have no need for those. There is loads to do around here."
Dora furrowed her brow once again and thought about Calla's question. What were she Silas doing? "Erm... we are just flying by the seat of the pants right now to be honest. There is no telling from one day to the next which of us will be grumpy and sulky. I have thought of hexing him more often than I would like to admit!" She left it at that. Unable to tell them how much she wanted a future and children and a happy marriage with him.

Calla loved being outside, "Outside?" Calla peered out the window, "Well, lets go!" She hopped up and waited for June and Dora to do the same. She had some pent up energy and was ready to expell it. "What are we going to be doing?"
Dora smiled and clapped her hands together. "Well, we can go play with the things that Silas put up or we could go flying a bit. It's really up to you guys. I am always into something!" she said with a huge smile.

"You know when I flew after your giraffe Juniper it was the first time I had flown in ages! I had really forgotten how much fun it was, can we start there?" Calla was pretty excited, and she knew that Juniper was an excellent flyer so this would give her a chance to redeem her lack of apparation.
"Oh good! I have all the brooms you need, as you know! So let's get bundled up and head out by the lake." Dora exclaimed. She flicked her wand and summoned her scarf, hat, and gloves. Running off to find her boots she soon returned in a flurry of color and excitement. "I will take the Firebolt you two choose whichever ones you want. When you're ready you can follow me out." she said with a little tap of her foot. She waqs so excited to get out and fly that she could hardly wait.

"I really liked the Moonstrimmer, so if it's all the same I'll use that one!" Calla got all bundled up and was off. The air was chilly, but refreshing.
Calla went up for what seemed like a minute, then spun upside down and went into a spiral dive. Calla use to fly all the time, she was pretty good, even played Quidditch when she was at Hogwarts. She played her last game in her 6th year, when there was an unfortunate accident and a friend of hers died. It was just an accident, but she vowed off Quidditch since. When she was just 6 ft from the ground she pulled up on the broom and looked for Dora, who appeared to be having a great time.
Dora mounted her broom right outside the door and kicked off hard. She went zooming through the sky at a break neck rate spinning and turning and swooping as she went. She let out a tinkling little laugh and blasted past Calla. "Keep if you can, ladies. I almost went pro!" she said and with that she was skimming the surface of the lake with her toes.
*Eating chili with Sirius* Red Ninja*Raspberry White Chocolate Mocha
Nearly blown off her broom by Dora Calla gripped her broom tightly, leaned lowly on it and took off after her. It was obvious flying was one of her best qualities! Calla zoomed over the lake, and then pulled up. She peered toward what was looking like a very dark forest - and for some reason she shivered. Gaining her composure she was off again. Turning upside down, wrapping her legs around the broom and letting go with her hands.
