Hermione got tired of sitting there on her own and she had a weird feeling that there was someone who she was close to sitting somewhere on the train. She took her luggage down, with difficulty, and walked along the compartment. She didn't know who it was exactly that she was searching for but she knew she'd know who it was once she saw them. Weird, she thought. She came across a compartment where she saw a red-haired boy and a red-haired girl sitting with two people she didn't know. And of course Blaise decided to show his ugly face. She sighed and rolled her eyes. Hermione walked past him and sat down in an empty seat saying, "Hi Ron. Hi Ginny."

"Of course," Ginny said with a smile. "My name's Ginny, Ginny Weasley."

"Where's your boyfriend Zabini?" Ginny shot at him. "Did he ditch you for flower girl? Oh and so early in the year." She faked sadness but ended up smirking. As he spoke to the newcomers she got madder and madder.

"There's only one way to start out Hogwarts badly," Ginny told them. "Getting in Slytherin." This time she smirked at Zabini voluntarily.

"Hi Hermione! I was wondering when you would get here," Ginny exclaimed.

Ron looked at the two people that asked if they could sit. "Yes." Ron said nodding his head. "Oh, my names Ron Weasley." he said. "Oh, yeah, I dunno where Harry is Ginny." he said scarching his head.

Travis smiled, "Thank you," he said as he moved his and Leslie's stuff into the compartment he turned to Blaise and then back at Leslie, "You can deal with him my dear." Travis took a seat and smiled, "Why very nice to meet you Ron, Ginny, I am Travis, Travis Cartwick and my little friend over there is Leslie, Leslie Lambardie."

Leslie smiled at the people in the compartment and turned to Blaise, he was cute she smiled, "I prefer blood traitors to stuck up pure bloods," she said nastily, "even if they are as cute as you...so either act civil or beat it." Leslie didn't take kindly to people like him who thought they were better because of their blood.

"Nice to meet you Travis and Leslie." Ginny smiled. "And I don't think it's possible for him to be civil." She turned to Blaise. "So beat it!"

Draco Malfoy boarded the Hogwarts Express with a sense of determination. He was in need of finding one of his good friends Blaise Zabini, and to avoid the girl that was completely in love with him--Naumi Black. Although his parents considered the pair a decent match, he did not wish to date the girl. No, he had his eyes set on someone else. Someone who could match his ruthlessness. But that person was non-existent at the moment.

It looked like she wanted to laugh at him. No change there then. What did bother him, though, was that she was eyeing up that pretty boy. Matt scowled, pushing his tortoise-shell square rimmed glasses further up his nose. Hmph. He could be just as good looking as that...pretty boy anyday. He was sure of it. And if he was...maybe Amberly would like him more! And then they could date! And get married! And have kids! Oh god. He needed to stop thinking so much...

Amberly flipped her blonde hair and then glared at Matt, "What do you want ?" she said , watching him not say anything . She was getting clearly annoyed with the way he was acting now , couldn't he just get a whole sentence out? Oh yeah , he could not do that because Amberly is so gorgeous . Amberly looked back to see Draco Malfoy and she smiled seeing him , finally someone descent to talk to ."Hello Draco."she said , still with a smile as she looked at him . Amberly was expecting that Matt boy to get extremely jealous now but whatever , she was never going to date Matt anyway .

Matt frowned, hurt. He pouted, folding his arms defiantly across his chest. As much as he loved her (which he did, unfortnuaetly) she didn't have to be so...blunt. But, being him, he couldn't stay mad at her for long; the dopey smile soon returned. But then! Oh, then! She started talking to Draco! Oh for the love of -- He scowled, jealous once again, desparately searching to find something to say that would get her attention back on him. "Want me to take your trunk?" he offered, finally managing to get a sentence out without stuttering.

Amberly nodded as Mat asked to take her trunk , "Sure, it is really heavy ." she said , dropping the trunk on the ground . This Matt boy was her little slave and she loved it !

"Ah, no worries," he said, re-adjusting his scarf so it wouldn't get in the way. He could handle the weight. He was macho! Well...sort of.

He wrapped his bony fingers around the handle and lifted, instantly feeling the strain. And he thought his trunk was heavy! What did this girl have in here? Bricks? But he could take it. He had to take it. He had to impress Amberly. "Wanna...get...a...compartment? he said, between pants.

Amberly nodded at the Gryfinndor ,"Thanks !" Amberly rolled her eyes at Tom , where did he even get the idea they were going to sit together ? Ugh , boys . she then laughed seeing him pant , this boy was a wimp . She could carry that trunk better than he could . "Do you want me to get someone else to carry it ?"she asked , ignoring his first question .

"No...I...can...handle...it..." He smiled, flipping his fringe out of his face. Ok, so she hadn't answered his question. Maybe he ought to rephrase it before his arms fell off. "Where...do you...want me...to take it?" he said, indicating to her trunk. He could already feel the sweat beginning to build up on his forehead. He had sit down, soon.

Amberly raised her eyebrow at him , "Mmkay then.."she said , looking back at Draco . She turned back as he asked the question , "Uhm , you can just take it to an empty compartment . " Amberly said , with a big smile . She knew he was going to go all gaga over that smile . Amberly didn't care though , she liked to mess with boys brains !

"Okay," he said, grateful that he'd soon be free of this bag of bricks. He lifted it higher and slung it over his back; the weight wasn't so bad that way. And, oh lordy! Not that smile! He could feel his legs shake, and that dopey smile form on his face again. It was the sort of smile that could make you do anything. Coughing and trying to clear his head, he began to make his way down the carriage in search of an empty compartment. "Be back in a bit," he said, knowing she probably wouldn't care anyway. And with that, he disappeared down the train.

Amberly smiled again , with her breath taking smile ."okay , tell me where you put it ."she said , tapping her foot waiting for him to return .

Her voice faded into the backround, as Matt looked about him, desparate to rid himself of her trunk. Ah, there was one. He grinned slightly and pushed open the door with his back, while his right hand let Amberly's trunk fall to the floor. He made his way into the compartment and placed his trunk down too, before taking Amberly's trunk in both hands and lifting it up to slide it into one of the overhead carriers. Not really sure if he'd be sitting in the compartment with her, he picked his trunk up again and made his way back in her direction.

Why did he do these things? For her? I mean, she was a brat. A real brat, and yet he'd do anything for her. Matt sighed, a sudden dark look falling over his features which completely demolished his whole geek look. But it soon returned and there he was again, the same old nerdy Matt. "Back." he said, waving like an idiot.

Hermione smiled at the two new people in the compartment and wondered why she didn't notice them before. Slytherins, she thought. "Hi Travis. Hi Leslie," she said, having entered in time to catch their names, "I'm Hermione. Hermione Granger." She raised her eyebrows at Blaise and tried to hold back her laughter. Getting told to get out by two girls on the first day had to be humiliating. She rolled her eyes and looked outside; hoping that something else wouldn't turn up to ruin her train ride with her friends.

Amberly nodded , seeing Matt reappear , "Show me where the compartment is."she said, walking in the direction he once walked. Amberly passed Hermione Granger and a few other people in another compartment , and let out a sigh , seeing the totally gorgeous boy in there too . "Hey.."she said , with award winning smile , completely ignoring Matt.

Matt led Amberly back the way he'd came, stopping when she stopped only to find she was all gaga over that new kid again. He could already feel the jealousy coursing through his veins. But Hermione was in there too. And Ron and Ginny. He peered over Amberly's shoulder and grinned, "Hey guys!"

Amberly rolled her big blue eyes as Matt spoke , did this boy ever want to leave her alone ? She looked over at the new boy and smiled , "soo.. you are new I am guessing."she said , smiling her pretty smile at him . "what's your name ?"she asked, still ignoring Matt.

Travis looked up at the pretty girl, he could tell that she was used to guys falling for her smile but that was not him. He smiled a dazzling smile at her as he ran a hand through his blond hair, "Yep I am new, just transferred here from Italy," he said, "I transferred here with my friend Leslie, she is over there yelling at that boy...anyway I am Travis Cartwick, what is your name darling?"

Amberly saw the boy smile back at her , "Oooh , Italy . I have been there before , it is a beautiful country."she said watching him run his fingers through his blondehair . This boy was TRES gorgeous . Amberly gave Leslie a weak smile , not the same smile she gave boys ."It is nice to meet you , I am Amberly Cauldwell ."she said , nodding her head at Travis. she looked over at ron Weasley , this boy was nearly as fun to flirt with as Matt , "Hi Ron."

Blaise snorted, did she really think that was going to bother him? Like he cared what a little blood traitor said. He rolled his eyes, "Actually, that's incorrect. Wind up in Potter's crowd, and you've screwed yourself over. And nice try she-weasel. You came up with a semi-decent retort. Too bad I don't really care what blood-traitors say." he smirked at her and pushed himself off the wall, they were boring him already.
Blaise eyed the girl, she wasn't all that bad, not bad at all. But she was talking to blood traitors. He'd have to fix that. Blaise rolled his eyes at all the people around. This was getting ridiculous. Placing his signature smirk on his face he smiled at her, slightly, though. He wasn't a smiley person. "Is that so? Careful. With that attitude you can make a lot of enemies here. Would be a shame for such a thing to happen to a pretty face." Course why comment on the cute remark? He already knew he was wanted.

Blaise was ABOUT to leave when he heard the she-weasel speak. He rolled his eyes and smirked at her as well, "I'm perfectly capable of being civil Weaselby, to those who deserve it. Where as you and your friends do not." he turned and went down a little farther down the train to search for a compartment, they were ALL boring him now.
Noticing a familiar head of platnium hair, Blaise smirked again. Finally, Malfoy had arrived. He picked up a small pebble he'd found on the ground and threw it at the other boys head. "Oi, Draco! Found a compartment over here." Well, brilliant, now everyone's attention was on him. Blaise sent a wink towards the closest girl.

Amberly turned seeing Blaise pass her , "Hey, Blaise.she"she siad ,sending that pretty smile his way.
