OOC: Luke is fine!

I stared from Will to Luke then to Stevie, today wasn't going to get any less awkward.
"Moved back," Luke answered and smiled towards Stevie. I just stared at my dad who stared back and gave me a 'we'll talk later' kind of look.
"Then.. where are you going to school?" I asked and my Uncles and parents stared at me like I was half crazy then all laughed.
"Hogwarts of course, Kira," my mum smiled, and my jaw dropped, was this some kind of a joke?
"I-I need to buy a book," I said and looked to Stevie, B, Ephram and Will, wanting to leave as soon as possible.
"Buy a book? You?" Luke laughed.

I looked to Ephram, he was staring at Luke, I felt a bit bad for him, everything was turning out to be a mess. I looked at Mitchell and scowled, he was staring at me. Luke came over, "Stevie, is that you?" He asked. I nodded, "Well under all that make up and hair dye I wouldnt know" He said. I looked away, I knew there were going to be problems with us.

"Uh, Luke" I said to him, pulling him away from Stevie slightly, I knew she wasn't the friendlest person when she was in a bad mood. "Have you been told what house your in yet?"
"No" He said shrugging "But I mean, you know, Dad and Kira both got Gryffindor so I suppose when I am sorted I will probably get into that too". I nodded and then noticed that Kira still looked like she wanted to leave desperatly.
"Will" B muttered as she stood next to Kira anxiously.
"Right, so I suppose we can catch up later?" I said to Luke and Kira's mum. "We have to pick up our books" I siezed B in one arm and Kira with the other and began to head up the street, "Come on Stevie".
"Can't wait to see you at school" Stevie said sarcastically to the Slytherins.

"Urg, I can't believe it," I growled, looking through the books as we entered Flourish and Blotts, "Why now?" I continued to rant silently to myself.
"It can't be that bad," B smiled, as Will took a book I was holding, and put it back as I had picked it up randomly. I half smiled, I had always wondered what it would be liketo have Luke go to Hogwarts... but, wait, what was I thinking?
I sighed and checked how much money I had, "What books do we need again?"

I pulled out my book list as Stevie and Ephram walked in behind us. I ran my eyes over the list then said,
"Right, I'll go get our Transfigeration books and Charms books, they're upstairs. See if you can find 'Defence Against the Dark Arts' volume six" I said to the others, handing them the list. I then looked to Stevie "Can you come and help me?" She nodded as I headed up the stairs.
"Who's the author to the Transfigeration book?" She asked, running her fingers along the books lazily.
"We have to talk" I said, lowering my voice now that we were alone.
"If this is about Ephr--" She started.
"No, it's not about him" I sighed. "It's about something else..." I paused for a moment, this had been bothering me all summer and I needed an answer. "Last year, when we went to the Department of Mysteries... well, when B fell through the veil and we went to use the time turner, you refused to do it. Stevie, you turned your back on her and left her basically to die"
"Will--"
"I'm not done yet" I continued. "I don't know whats happened between you and B, you used to be as close as sisters but since your mother died you haven't been the same to her. I don't blame you, loosing your mum was huge to you and obviously you see B differently, but I would never of expected you, a Potter, to turn your back on a friend, to turn your back on all your friends when we needed you." I stopped "Why?"

I ran my toungue over the bottom of my teeth and looked at Ephram, "I'll be right out" I said and smiled as he walked out of the store waiting for me outside. "And you changed your image, your not the same girl, you dont even look like a Potter." I looked at Will and hesitated. "Because I'm not...Ok?" I said angrilly and went out of the store.

When I had found the DAtDA's books, I turned to see Stevie running out. Suprised, I looked at Kira, who seemed as clueless as me. We both hurried up where Will still was.
"What was that all about?" I asked looking at Will. Kira stopped next to me too, wanting to know the answer.
"Oh nothing, just forget it!" Will answered and took the book list from my fingers. I looked at him a bit suspiciously but then gave.
"Alright!" I said simply. "What else do we need? I need Potions, do you?"

"Will?" B asked me, I stared at the floor continuing to think about what she had just said. "Will?"
"Wh-What?" I looked up suddenly as she brought me back to reality. "Sorry, what did you say?"
"Potion book" B said, staring at me very closely "Do you need it?"
"Um, yeah, I got into thw advanced Newt class" I said roughly, then turned and continued across the crouded upstairs area to the potion books. I couldn't believe what she had just said, she wasn't acting like Stevie and she didn't look like Stevie. I stopped and stared at a poster on the wall...

On the poster was a picture of Harry, grinning with his wand in one hand and broom in the other, his hair blowing gently in the wind, revealing the scar.
"She needs you, now more then ever" I muttered to it.

I sat outside at a table by myslef, Ephram walked over, he saw me crying quietly. "Stevie?" He asked He layed a hand on my back, I looked up and smiled slightly, "Hey, whats wrong?" Ephram asked. "Nothing" I said, He sat, "Listen to me, I love you, and I want to know whats wrong" He said sympathetically. We sat in silence for a few minutes.
"I revealed someting today to Will that I never told anyone, no one except you of course." I said, he nodded knowingly. "Just because you were adop-" I laid a finger on his lips, he stopped. "Theres nothing to be ashamed about you know" He said and took my hand, he put his fingers through mine.

We purchased our books and headed out of the shop, all this could have taken seconds or hours, I wouldn't have noticed. I was in a sort of dizzy daze, that ideal that I had had as a child, the ideal that Stevie Potter was always there to save the day had been shattered.
"Wonder where Stevie is" Kira or B said distantly, I wasn't listening. I looked up ahead through the croud and saw Stevie sitting at a table, Ephram by her side and her hands covering her face.
"I-I think she went down this street" I said, pulling B and Kira in another direction, I didn't want them to see her upset.
"No! There she is!" Kira said, pointing ahead at the table where she was sitting. I rolled my eyes as we headed over.

Kira looked over, "Whats wrong with her?" She asked. "I dunno" Will said and tried to lead them away.

OOC: I'm sorry, I've been having finals, my friends from England just surprised everyone with a visit, and ahhh, I would reply right now but there's a pep rally over here! I'll reply as soon as possible

I stared at Will a bit strangely, "Are you feeling okay?"
"Yeah, yeah," he answered a bit distantly, "I was just thinking."
"Okaay, then," I raised my eyebrows and turned to B, who shrugged and smiled as we continued to walk towards Stevie.

"What's wrong Stevie?" Kira asked, sitting down next to her as we got to the table and chairs. B looked to me, thinking I would know, which I did, but I just gave her a simple shrug. Ephram stood up and walked over to me, pulling me away, B gave me another look but I nodded for her not to follow.
"What did she say to you?" He asked.
"She's not a Potter" I said, staring at Ephram, shaking slightly. "But, she's just being silly isn't she? She is a Potter". Ephram didn't answer, he looked over his shoulder. "Answer me"
"She isn't a Potter" Ephram said "She didn't want you to know, nor Kira or B so keep it quiet". I stared at him with a cold look, ofcoarse she is a Potter, she's always been a Potter, Harry's her father.
"This is your doing, what have you done to her? You've brain washed her or something, haven't you?" I shouted at him angrily.

"Apparently, you dont know too much about your 'so-called' best friend. With all the crap you've done to her, it's no wonder she never told you she was adopted." Ephram said coldly. They had moved pretty far away from the table so I wasnt able to hear them. "I dont belive you" Will said puling away. Ephram grabbed his arm, "Ask her yourself" Ephram said angrilly and went back to the table. "C'mon Stevie" He said and took my hand, I looked to Will but went back with Ephram, we walked down the street heading towards the Leaky Cauldron.

I watched as they began to walk off, then went for my wand pointing it towards Ephram violently.
"That vile git!" I muttered angrily "He's going to get the hex of his life!" I waved my wand in an upwards manner, but was stopped as B siezed it from me and Kira pulled my arm away.
"Will!" B gasped angrily "What are you doing?"
"What is going on?" Kira said anxiously.
"I wish I knew what was going on" I said in a low voice, watching them walk off together "But if we don't do something soon, I think I know what is going to happen?" They both watched me "We're going to loose Stevie forever"

Ephram and I entered the Leaky Cauldron, and we took a seat at the bar. "Hello Kids" Tom said as he wiped down the counter. "Hi" Ephram said. "Is my mom here?" Ephram asked. "She actualy just left, She said to tell you she loves you and would see you at school" Tom said in a toothy grin. Ephram blushed and looked away. "How about we go back to my place?" Ephram asked. I nodded as he took my hand and led me out into the streets on London, he drove us to his house, and we decided to spend the last night there before school started.

"What? Why?" I asked suprised and looked at Will with a puzzled face. "If this is another of your weird-" I was cut off by Will.
"No! This is something far more serious here then just me not likeing that Ephram. I think she is turning Stevie against us..." He said. I still looked at him, quite unbeliveingly.
"Maybe you're just being paranoid!" Kira suggested, raising an eyebrow. Will just sent her the look. I couldn't think anythign now. Since last year, everything has been quite odd, with all of us. And I just didn't know what to think anymore.

I stared at Will, I had no clue what was going on, but Will never just lost it for no reason... Suddenly I spun around as someone tapped me on the shoulder.
"I hate to break this incredibly happy conversation, but Dad says it's time we go," Luke grinned.
"Bye then," I stared at him. He rolled his eyes and grabbed my wrist.
"See you guys at school," I sighed and walked off with Luke.

B and I began to head back out of Diagon Alley, towards the Leaky Couldren so we could return to the muggle world to catch the bus home. As we walked, I noticed B was watching me closely.
"I'm not being paranoid" I said in a low voice.
"Well, what is going on then?" B asked "You're starting to scare me". I paused for a moment was we headed through the Leaky Couldren, then felt safe to speak as we stepped into the muggle-world.
"B, you know I don't normally hate people for no reason" I said, although she just laughed.
"Do you want me to list them?" I glared at her and she stopped laughing.
"Look, Ephram has convinced her to believe something that I know can't be true. I can't tell you what it is, but it's big. And if she believes this then she could be put in mortal danger, it's too complicated to explain" I sighed, stepping on to the bus.
I sat at the back, peering out the window. How dare Ephram act like he knew Stevie better then me, knowing her for three months was nothing compared to knowing her all her life. I know how she acts in danger, how she reacts in situations, I know how she expresses herself. I was scared that he would take the place of 'Best male friend' away from me, I loved Stevie more then he could possibly love her in three months. And I would never brainwash her into believing she isn't a Potter, because when I looked into her eyes I saw Harry.

Ephram and I got into his car heading toward the train station the next day, "You ready for school?" He asked as he took my hand, with one hand still on the wheel. "I guess" I said as I took out a scrap book out of my bag, "What's that?" He asked. "Pictures of my biological family." I said and flipped through some of the pages. My 'father' had dark hair, blue eyes and was handsome, my 'mother' was blonde and looked much like I didnt now. 'Amy and David' were there names and they had lived in Wales all their life. Apparently, they died when I was 3.

Luke looked slightly nervous as we entered the station, my dad folded his arms and looked around, he seemed to be somewhat ignoring my mother, as I was.
"So, you just run through?" he asked me quietly.
I looked around to see if anyone was watching then smiled towards him, "Yup... hey, don't be scared," I laughed. He gave me a suspicious look, and I quickly turned away, pretending a strap on one of my bags was loose.

Ephram and I sat in the car for a minute, We looked out the window. "Listen, nothing is going to change, ok?" Ephram asked as he squeezed my fingers slightly. "I love you, and nothing will change" I looked over to Ephram "I love you too" I said as I layed on his shoulder. He ran his fingers through my long blonde hair, "Your Beautiful Stephanie, no matter what family you're from." He said as he kissed my forehead. "I understand your friends dont like me, and I dont know why, but nothing is going to stop me and you from being together, OK?" He asked, I nodded as I took his hand. "Let's go" I said and smiled as we walked into the train station.
Kira was standing with Luke and her father, "Hey Ephram, Stevie" Kira said with a smile. "It's Stephanie" I said and puled my LLBean backpack over my shoulder, Ephram and I walked right through the portrait hole and found a seat on the train.

Luke looked even more worried now.
"You just run through," I sighed to him.
"What? Oh no, that's not it... is Stevie always like that?" he asked.
"Like what?" I asked and he just turned back to his luggage and shook his, head. I knew what he meant, but I didn't want to answer or even know how to...
"You two had better go," my dad said, "I'm just waiting out for 'Mione." I nodded and gripped my cart, then looked around and ran through. I waited inside for Luke, and moved out of the way, just in time, as he ran through. He grinned and looked around, I waved to a group of Hufflepuffs where Michael was and he waved back.
"Is that your boyfriend?" Luke asked quietly and I nearly froze.
"No!" I shouted.
