I laughed and picked up a Quaffle and tossed it a bit, "Well, Egypt now that was fun," I grinned sarcastically, "I did get to keep the light flasher though!"
"You mean flash light?" Will looked over.
"Yeah, whatever," I laughed and stared down at the floor a bit awkwardly, as a silence fell over us.

We sat for a few seconds in the silence, I didn't feel to awkard, but I could tell that Stevie's new boyfriend didn't seem to comfortable with it.
"So" I said suddenly "Uh, has anyone read this years spell books?"
"No" Kira said rolling her eyes.
"Don't roll your eyes" I said in a low voice. Kira scoffed and rolled her eyes again. "Fine, be immature!"
"Guys, we have company" Stevie said with her teeth clenched.
"Sorry Stevie, but I can't help her immaturity!" I muttered.
"Maybe you could help not staring at Stevie" Kira yawned.

I stood next to Ephram the tension in the room was so thick you could cut it with a steak knife. I glanced nervously to Ephram who was holding my hand. I looked to Will, "So what did you guys do all summer?" I asked.

"Toured.. places, tombs and pyramids and all," I sighed and picked up the flashlight from my desk flicking it on.
"Stop that, we have company, remember?" Will whispered.
"I'll stop breathing if you'd like that too," I whispered back and rolled my eyes again.
"Everyone! Dinner!" I heard my Aunt call up the stairs, and smiled - relieved we didn't have to sit with all the tension in my room.

We walked down and found the kitchen empty, so we went outside to see a few tables where set up joining each other to fit everyone on. We all took our seats towards the end.
"...I'm not saying it's wrong to get them to work like they are, I just believe that they deserve the same benifits as if any wizard was doing the work" My mum said, debating with Mr. Weasley.
"They don't want money, Hermione, House elves like just working as they are" He replied "It's their way of life".
"Only because wizards won't let them know any other way of life" I said sitting down next to them, they both looked at me. "Well, it's true".

I watched Ephram as he looked around my family from Fred and George trying to hit my aunt and dad with one of the tables to my grandparents bringing out dinner.
Hermione and Krum passed around plates, "So how were all your trips? Egypt was brilliant!" she said and I raised my eyebrows.
"Australia was very nice, although some of us weren't feeling our best..." Hermione said, taking a seat next to Krum. I turned to Will, and the image of Rachel and her long blonde hair immediately came to my mind.
"Oh, about..." my grandma paused then continued, "What about you Stevie and, I'm sorry... Eph..?"
"Ephram," he smiled. I caught eyes with Fred and George who were grinning.

"About who?" I asked Mrs Weasley, everyone seemed to go silent suddenly.
"No one, dear, more potatoes?" She offered. I looked at her for a second, with a doubtful look on my face.
"William" My mother said in a warningly tone.
"Well, just incase anyone cares," I said, standing up and feeling my face burning up as they all watched "Yes, Rachel is dead, but that's because Rachel never exsisted. She was nothing more then a lie and the person behind the lie is dead. Why? Because we killed her!" I felt myself shouting slightly. I turned around and stormed back towards the house, then relised that I had no where to go so I walked around the other side of the house and over to the abandoned garage.

Ephram looked at me uncomfortably, "Sorry" I mouthed. He nodded then squeezed my fingers a bit. I just smiled, "Sorry about that" Hermione said, getting up and going to follow her son. Ephram took a bite of the chicken, "Its good" he said to Mr.s Weasley, she laughed, finally the tension was broken.

"William," My mother said, she had appeared at the door way. She walked over and sat down next to me. "Molly didn't mean to say that, love" She spoke in a calm tone.
"I know" I sighed "And even if she didn't mean to say it, everyone thought it". I paused as she put an arm around me. "Why do they all leave?"
"Who leaves?" She asked.
"Everyone that I love. I lost Dad, I lost Rachel and even B was lost for a while. That means anyone I get close to besides you can go whenever things get perfect" I kicked the box by my feet in frustration.
"You're right" My mum said sourly "I lost Draco too, I lost Harry and a part of Ron that was there when Harry was around is gone." We both sat in silence. "Draco lied to me and pretended that he wasn't who he really was, there was another part of him that I didn't know. Rachel was the exact same. You're more like me then you know" She got up and brushed the hay off of her.
"Now that's a scary thought" I muttered to her.

I smiled and took some potatoes as the tension seemed to break.
"Well, are you all going school shopping tomorrow?" Ginny asked, as I shrugged and looked over to Will and Hermione who were walking up from the side of the house... It had only really hit me the moment Will ran from the table that we had really killed Rachel.
"Oh, I don't know," Stevie answered Ginny.

I sat back down next to my mum and Kira and leaned over to get some carrots and placed them on my plate. I could tell no one was looking at me for a reason.
"Golly, your sixth year?" Mr Weasley said loudly "How they grow". I laughed,
"Are you kidding? It seems longer then 6 years, more like 12!" Everyone seemed to relax slightly seeing that I wasn't going to explode again.
"Incoming!" Fred called looking up to see Errol flying towards us. The table all instantly grabbed their plates and pulled back as Errol came crashing into the salad, it flew every where.
"I'll kill that bloody bird!" Mrs Weasley shouted angrily. Ginny leaned over and pulled the bird out, Ron took the letters from around her feet as everyone put their plates back down.
"Hogwarts letters" He announced handing them out to Stevie, Kira, Birgit, Ephram and I.
"Wonder if I'm prefect again?" I said going to open it.
"Wonder if I passed any OWLs" Kira said dully.

"Probably are, knowing you," I answered Will as I wripped mine open as Will teared his more neatly.
I grinned, scanning through it, there were no O's or anything but I had passed mostly everything... except Potions and one other.
"How'dja do?" I looked over B's shoulder then across the table to Stevie and Ephram.

I looked over at Kira's, then opened my letter my tearing the top. I reached in to grab it and, once again, I felt the prefect badge.
"I got it!" I grinned, pulling it out and showing the others. However, I was more concerned with my scores. I pulled out a light blue parchment and read the marks...

"Wow" I said re-reading the scores "I got four Outstandings, I could have gotten Herbology and Muggle Studies higher if I hadn't been... distracted" I looked over at B, I didn't finish my muggle studies exam because we left to save her and I didn't study much for Herbology since Rachel had died. "How did you go?" I asked smiling at B because she noticed I had looked at her when I said this, "Which one of you got prefect this year?"

I grabbed my letter. I really wanted to see my results, but I was extreamly suprised when tearing the envelope appart something metal fell to my lap. I raised my eyebrow when looking around. No one had noticed anything. I took the little thing and looked at it. Will had just asked who had become prefect this year and I raised my head with a whisper "Me..."
"What?" Will asked, looking at me. I had probably said it too quietly.
"I did... I got prefect!" I said, still not believeing it, and lookig around. I guessed that McGonagall probably wanted to make me feel better. Everyone started congradulateing me, but I took the results paper and looked at it.

I smiled. I had a chance of becomeing an auror. I didn't pay much attetion to my Failing in Muggle Studies. I had been 'absent' from the exam. I looked up from the letter and looked over the table to Kira and Stevie, glooming. "How did you do?"

I grabbed my scores, I had a few O's but the rest wernt that good, "Oh well" I said looking to Ephram, "How'd you do?" I asked him, as I pulled my feet onto the chair and laid back in his lap, my head on his chest. "All O'S' he said and smiled. Will turned a bit red, I looked away.

"Congratulations, B!" I smiled, relieved she was a Prefect this time, and grinned over to my Uncles who no longer had a reason to torment me... I looked to Stevie and Ephram, they looked so happy together...
I got up from the table, as it was getting a bit dark, "Who wants to go back in?" I asked picking up my plate and my Hogwarts letter, along with one from Michael.

"Oh, well done B!" I grinned at her "This means that you may be being considered for headgirl next year, imagine that?" I laughed reaching over to look at the marks on Stevie's paper.
"Well done both of you" Mrs. Weasley smiled, although I could tell she was a little disspointed that Kira hadn't gotten it.
"Well, thanks for the dinner" My mum said finally "We better be heading back to the city I suppose, we will meet all of you tomorrow morning at the Leaky Couldren I suppose?"
"We're not going floo powder again are we?" I asked in a nervous tone to my mother.
"Afraid so" Krum said, pulling a sack out of his pocket as we stood up.

I looked to Ephram, he kissed me on the lips quickly. "So, What are we doing tommorow?" I asked.

"I think we're going to the Diagon Alley." I answered to Stevies question as I stood up and followed Hermione and Krum to the livingroom, where the fireplace was. Will was right behind me. "I guess I'll see you guys there then!" I said.
"Yeah, see you tomorrow!" Will said aswell. Hermione held out the bag of floopowder for me.
"Will, you go with her. Viktor and I will follow you!" She said smileing. I grabbed the powder and stepped into the fireplace. "Ready?" I asked Will with a grin. He grinned and I said the destination, throwing the powder to the ground. Everything started spinning as we flew through the air and landed on the floor of the apartment we lived in in London. I stood up and gave Will a hand too. "I'm going right to bed, I'm very tired. See you tomorrow, Will!" I said smileing to him and ran to my room.

Ephram and I got up to leave and took some floo powder, "we're staying at the leaky cauldron, so we might do our shopping tonight, I dont know." I said and smiled. "Well If i dont see you dear, have a good year at school, make it count" she said and smiled as we walked toward the fireplace.

I was crawling into bed when I heard mum and Krum apparate in the next room, they seemed to both be laughing about something.
"Kids?" My mum called, "Will? B?"
"We're in bed" I said, getting ready to turn my lamp off.
"Really?" She asked "Oh, well okay then, sleep well" She pointed her wand at the lamp for me and it went off, then shut my door.

Ephram and I opened the door to our suite at the Leaky Cauldron. "It's not the greatest, but it's all the wizarding world really has to offer" Ephram said but pulled out his wand and smiled. He gave it a tap, and roses appeared eveywhere, a heart shaped hot tub appeared in the corner, and a large bed showed up with red and white sheets. "Ephram it;s beautiful" I said and kissed him. "I thought you'd like it"" he said and wrapped his arms around my wasit. Two sets of bathing suits with towels were hanging on a rack, we changed and crawled into the hottub. We ended up having a very nice night (wink wink nudge nudge lol ) , and in the morning we decided to go shopping.

"WILL!" B screamed helping me to my feet, the veil behind us waving gently.
"Say goodbye, Black! Expelliarmous!" Voldemort shouted, pointing his wand at us. B pushed me back to the ground as she was thrown back through the veil, her eyes went wide as she stared at me. Suddenly her appearence changed to Rachel as she fell, her blue eyes were staring at me.
"NO!" I shouted trying to grab her, but I couldn't reach.
"William?" all I could see was my mother's bushy hair as I awoke from the nightmare, the morning sun shining in. "Are you okay? You're sweating"
"I'm fine" I muttered rolling over.
"Well, Krum's headed off to work and I'm about to apparate into Mungo's" She told me "I've left some muggle money on the counter, you and B catch the bus to the Leaky Couldren and buy your school stuff" She instructed me.
"Alright" I muttered rubbing my eyes.
"Have a good day" She said, then apparated away.
