I rolled my eyes and laughed at all of what Will had just said, grinning at the First years still staring at us.
"I'm off to bed as well," I yawned and walked up to the Girls dorms.

B shook me awake the next morning, "You're gonna be late," she laughed as I got up with a start.
"What do we have first?" I asked getting changed.
"Snape," she sighed.

"But I think we'll survive it. He's holding himself back for Wednesday. I do hope that I don't have to go through it alone again..." I said with a grin.
We both moved downstair to find Will already there and waiting for us. "Stevie?" Kira asked.
"Not here. Thought she was with you!" Will answered getting up from his seat.
"No, she wasn't up there." Kira answered.
"Ephram..." I mumbled under my breath. The subject was closed with that. We all moved quite slowly to the Great Hall to get some breakfast. We were still unsure if McGonagall knew about our little trip, but at the staff table, she gave us a little nod as a greeting. We sat down, trying to be as usual as possible.

I leaned over and got some toast, bacon and eggs. I noticed that Stevie wasn't even sitting at the Ravenclaw table, and Ephram was absent aswell. They where probably having a secret meeting somewhere.
"So I guess last night was a tad bit pointless" I sighed, B looked around and I knew I shouldn't be talking about it here. "Right..."
We ate breakfast then hurried down to the dungeon just as the bell went. I opened the door to see the class half full, Snape at the front of the class.
"You're late!" He barked glaring at us.
"The bell went thirty seconds ago!" Kira complained staring at him.
"Are you arguing with me?" He snapped, drilling into us.
"Sorry, sir, it won't happen again" I said hurrying over to our seats. I took out my books, fighting the urge to shout at him. The door opened and several Slytherin's walked in and sat down, talking loudly amungst themselves. I looked at Snape as he said nothing, my mouth dropped. "Pity this isn't history of magic, Snape needs to learn what a dictatorship is!" I whispered to B and Kira.

I held back laugh with a half snort. Snape turned to us and I quickly cleaned my throught. He must have not seen anything so he turned around sharply and with the wave of his wand a recepie appeared on the blackboard.
"By the end of this lesson, I want everyone's samples!" he said and looked at Sean sharply. "Groups of four!" He added and sat down behind his desk as everyone started moving around. Jason came to our group as Stevie still wasn't around and we started with our potion.
Thanks to me and Will we finished the potion first in the whole class, but delaied with giving it away. When the bell rang, we put the little sample on his table and rushed out of the class.
"I'm so glad its over!" Kira said.
"Double Transfiguration next!" I said and looked at Will. "We just have to look cool!" I said with a slight grin.

I was sitting in the room of requirement with Ephram, telling him what happened. We were playing a game of chess. "I dont know if there's more Stevie, I mean yea I guess if Ron said it happened, then it did" Ephram said. "So now what do we do about Bradin?" I asked. "I want to get to know him. "He's my brother" I said. "My real brother" I thought about that for a moment. "I want to spend Christmas break with him, will you come with me?" I asked Ephram. He nodded.

I smiled at B, but my mind was on Stevie, she was once again missing classes and I was worried that she would fall behind. That was bad news not only for her, but for the entire wizarding world.
When we got to class B went over and sat with Alex, so I took Stevie's seat next to Kira for a change.
"Morning class" Mc Gonagall said walking in and taking off her over coat, placing it on the desk. "We will spend the first half of this lesson practising the morphing charm as most of you seemed to be struggling last time" She clapped her hands together and several objects appeared on everyones desk, the students took out their wands and began working.
"Kaphorpheus" I summounded tapping the empty box of every-flavor beans, it transformed into a glass bottle simply, I tapped it again and it changed into a bowler hat. "Not so hard is it?" I smiled to Kira, who's object that looked like a book with a tail and a feather sticking out the top.
"Weasley! Granger" Mc Gonagall said lowering her voice as she walked past us, "Do I need to ask?"
"She's occupied at the moment with... life problems" I said explaining Stevie's absense.
"In future can you have her tell me in advance or atleast send a messenger, she is old enough to know that" Mc Gonagall sighed, she looked at Kira's object, "If either of you are occupied by a certain someone elses attention then I can move you" She walked off and I looked back at my bowler hat, feeling my face go red.

I rushed into McGonalgle's class. "Sorry proffesor" I said, wearing my robes for a change. McGonagle looked over. I was aware of the soft spot in her heart for me. I highly doubted detention was an issue. "Miss. Potter, where were you?" She asked. "Out" I said and took a seat oddly at the front of the room, with an african american girl I didnt know. McGonagle tutted and handed me a jar. "What do you want me to do with it?" I asked. "Well if you hadent missed the first part of the lesson you would know." She said and got herself a chair. She sat and showed me how to do the charm privately. "Sorry" I said again looking up into her eyes. "It's allright, let's just not make a habit of it, shall we?" She ssaid and I almost thought I saw a smile.

I felt my ears go red, then watched as Stevie walked in and her and McGonagal talked. I jumped suddenly as my book started trying to fly.
"Kaphorpheus!" Will hit it and it turned into a book, falling onto the table. I heard snickers from some Slytherins as the bell rang.
"Thanks," I said to Will, who was already walking over to Stevie, I shrugged and followed.

I stopped at Stevie's desk as she packed up her things, then waited for the girl next to her to leave before talking.
"You alright? Mc Gonagall wasn't mad was she?" I asked.
"No" Stevie said as we headed out the door.
"That's good!" I sighed heading up the hall, I opened my folder the slightest and pulled out a small letter that was inside it. "I got an owl from mum thismorning, she says that we are all invited to the Burrow this christmas and you will never believe what--" I noticed Stevie was giving me a funny look. I looked over at Kira, not sure if I should ask or not, "What is it Stevie?" I said.
"I'm not going to the Burrow" She said simply. My mouth dropped open, I knew she was going to spend it with Ephram. I didn't want her too, she was meant to spend it with us like every year.
"Oh!" I said raising my eyebrows and trying to sound happy about it "Oh, well that's okay, it's probably going to be boring anyway"

"Yeah," I agreed with Will putting on a smile and looking to Stevie.
"So, where are you going?" Will asked.
"I'm going to see my brother with Ephram," she said a bit quietly. I turned as I heard B and Alex walking out of Transfiguration.

"Oh" Will said. "Yea, He lives in the states, and It's going to be kind of awkward" I said rubbing my palms together. "We need some time to talk, he seems like a good guy, and I want to know about him" I said smiling.

I turned to Stevie and smiled aswell,
"Yes, well, whatever makes you happy, I suppose?" I nodded. We headed down stairs and to the Great Hall for lunch. As I sat there I played pointlessly with the small tomato in my salad, knocking it back and forth with the fork. As I did I thought about how funny it would be if that was Ephram's head. I stopped instantly, knowing thinking that alone was bad for me.
"Whats wrong?" Kira asked, noticing how down I was looking.
"Nothing... I guess I'm just tired..." I lied, "We have Defense next don't we? I suppose you should tell Ginny that you arn't coming to the Burrow, Stevie. Kira's gran might be expecting you"

"She'll get over it" I said and looked at my watch. "Listen there's something I didnt tell you." I said. "If I go, and enjoy myself, I might stay" I said stopping and looking over at Kira, then back down at my salad.

I had sat quietly next to Will the whole time, but after Stevies last statement I just threw my fork onto my plate and crossed my arms, looking at her.
"Don't, B!" Will whispered.
"Why not? Everones thinking it so I'll just say it out!" I answered him and truend back to Stevie. "So we're not good enough for you anymore, huh? Now that you're not a Potter now you can just leave everything that you cared about a Potter and start being a Miky.... whatever..." I snapped. "Don't we mean anything to you anymore?" I asked finally and just stared at her, I felt a many eyes on us though.

My eyes fell on Stevie, I considered supporting B because I did agree with her, but I knew that it wasn't going to help. I was just sick of all the fighting.
"Just shut your mouth and sit down, B!" I snapped, then got to my feet and picked up my bag frustrated. "You two are as bad as each other! We can't even have lunch anymore without one of you biting each other's heads off. Do you think Kira and I enjoy having to constantly divide you both up like children? For crying out loud you used to be sisters. Birgit, how about you learn to be a little more tolerent and understanding, if it was your mother or something we would let you go! And Stevie, you could learn to be more considerate to our feelings, I'm not surprised B's mad at you, you left her to die for crying out loud!" I lowered my voice as a few more people started to look. "Do me a favor! Niether of you talk to me for the rest of the day because I have enough problems without having to father the pair of you!" I stormed out of the Great Hall and headed to the library.

I didn't even bother running after Will, although I wanted to. He was right, as usual. But I wasn't going to give this in as easy as this. I was as stubborn as any Black. I just took my bag, looked apologiseingly(sp) and walked out of the Great Hall, not looking at Stevie.
I stepped into the DADA classroom. Ginny wasn't there yet so I just searched the classroom to see Will. I just sat next to him on my usual seat and leaned to the table, resting myself on it and waited for the lesson to start. It would be hard not to talk to him, but he said he didn't want us to, so I was going to keep to it.

I walked into DADA, "Anyone seen my book bag?" I asked walking into the classroom. Most people turned around without responding. I looked at Will and B, sitting next to eahother.
"Oh," I said, remembering how angry Will got just 30 minutes or so ago , "Hey," I smiled stepping up to their desk.

I did my best to ignore that B was sitting next to me, I wasn't mad at either of them, I was just tired of them fighting all the time and this felt like the only way of making them see this.
"Hi" I said back to Kira, I wasn't mad at her, in fact I had hoped that she felt the same way to the constant bickering of Stevie and B.
"Have you seen my book bag?" She asked.
"No, did you leave it in Transfigeration?" I said, "Come on, I'll go with you, we have five minutes before class starts". I headed out of the room with Kira, leaving B sitting by herself, I felt bad for doing it. I lead Kira up to the fourth floor and to Mc Gonagall's transfigeration room. "Look! There it is!" I said, seeing it sitting on the floor by Kira's chair.
"Thanks" She said, going over to get it. I looked at my watch and shook my head,
"We'll have to hurry back or--" I stopped, something had just caught my eye, something over by Mc Gonagall's desk had moved.
"Or what?" She asked smiling. I nodded my head over to Mc Gonagall's desk, someone was hiding behind it. She didn't seem to understand my message. There was a cluttering noise over by the desk and someone stood up, muttering a spell. I turned quickly to see it was a short, fat man that resembled a rat. He had cast a spell in Kira's direction.
"Get down!" I shouted, running over and tackling Kira to the ground, a curse flew over our heads as we fell to the ground.

I screamed and hit the ground with Will, as the curse went flying off and hit a bookshelf on the other side of the room and all the books inside my bag spilled onto the floor. Will grabbed his wand from his robes pocket and stood up as the short, fat man gasped walking backwards into the wall. I stood up after Will, gripping my wand as well.
"Who are you? Why are you here?" Will asked, the man still held his wand out. He looked from the open window to us, back and forth.

"Don't even try it!" I said angrily, knowing he would try to escape if either of us dropped our gaurd. His beady little eyes ran us up and down, he shook his wand at us.
"I can handle a student wizard and witch easily" He said, his voice squeaking madly. "Flipendo!" He shouted.
"Protego!" Kira and I yelled at the same times, however it wasn't very useful. The shields we had produced shattered under the pressure of the strangers spell, we were thrown back onto the desks behind us. I quickly sat up as the fat man ran to the window.
"Colloportus!" I shouted, the window slammed shut, making an odd noise. The man tried to pull it open. I crawled to my feet and ran over to him, my wand pointed at him. He raised his again, and I noticed he had a strange hand, he was missing a finger. Suddenly the memory of a story my mother had told me lingered in my mind. "Pettigrew?" I muttered. His eyes buldged slightly as I said this, then he quickly turned, transforming into a rat and scurring past my feet.
"Where did he go?" Kira asked looking around.
"There!" I snapped, then concentrated myself, I closed my eyes and turned into a fox. I scurried after the rat, leaping through desks and past Kira, I leaped through the air, but just missed him through my paws. He hurried into a space too small for me. I stopped focusing and turned back into a boy. "He got away! I couldn't control the animagus form very well!" I was dissapointed in myself. The door opened with a small squeak,
"What was that noise--" Snape shouted, then stopped when he saw the mess "Weasley and Granger! Why am I not surprised?"

"It wasn't us, well it was -" I stammered, still a bit in shock.
"Care to explain, Granger?" he raised an eyebrow, "Weasley here is babbling like an-"
"It was Pettigrew," Will cut him off.
"Don't be a fool, how would he have got in?" Snape asked.
"You know just as well as we do," Will said, him and Snape locking eyes, Snape looking more worried than angry now.
"Come with me," Snape said turning on his heal, I quickly gathered my books in my arms and threw my bag over my shoulder.

We headed to the third floor, but instead of going to Mc Gonagall's office Snape stopped right infront of the Defense class. He knocked on the door and opened it, the class was full except for two seats and Ginny was at the front talking about some notes on the board.
"Proffessor Snape!" Ginny smiled seeing him, "Ah, I wondered where those two had gotten too!" Snape watched her for a moment, he seemed to loath her as much as the students.
"Yes, they where with me, excuse them will you?" He asked in a snappish tone.
"We want to come with you to tell Mc Gonagall!" I argued, relising that Snape was just dropping us off, "We have to tell her--"
"You will stay in class and I do not think I need to tell you to keep your mouths shut!" Snape growled, Ginny hurried over and stood behind us both.
"Yes, you heard Snape... I mean, Proffessor Snape" She said, blushing slightly, "Now you have already missed half the notes, sit down at your seats, Thanks" She closed the door on Snape and placed her hands on our backs to make sure we went to our seats.

I glanced over my shoulder, Ephram had entered the common room. "Hey" I said and smiled at him. "So are we leaving today" I asked. Ephram pulled out a pair of plane tickets. "I see" I said and pushed the hair behind my ears. Just then Will and Kira stormed in.
