I glared at Ephram as he came in and looked over Stevie's body, he seemed to be even more pale then B was.
"Can you just go?" I asked him folding my arms. He looked at me, then back at Stevie.
"No, I'm staying" He assured me, then sat down by her side. I rolled my eyes, my frustration with him was growing futher then ever, and the advise my father had given me, hitting and yelling, didn't seem to be working.
"Ephram, I don't think you are understanding us" I said calmly "And I don't blame you, you haven't been around for as long as we have. We were the ones who where there when she faced Draco, we where there when she was sad about Harry and Jennifer dieing, we where there when she lost her magical ability and we stayed by her side through all her trials. Then you show up, you change her personality and appearence. And now, because you lead her to leaving her education, she is in hospital and we may never get to tell her how much she means to us" my anger was rising slowly "So don't come in here and sit there and expect us to accept you. We where here first and we will be here last, and we'll be the ones picking up the pieces in between. So get out and think about it, because as much as you may have fooled yourself into thinking you love her, it is nothing compared to what us three have" I looked over at the glass by Stevie's table, the cup smashed suddenly and the water spilt out. I couldn't control myself, I was too angry.

((Ooc: 'Hitting and yelling?' Poor Will! He has a childhood trauma(sp)...))

I walked over to Will as I always did, placed my hands to my hips and glared at Ephram. "Please leave already? Can't you see you're makeing even worse?" I said and turned to Will for a while. "Easy, mate!" I whispered to his ear. I could tell that he was angry. Not even a fool would have missed that fact. But it wouldn't be proper(sp) if the two boys would start fighting here. Again. It wouldn't solve anything. Well, not much...

Ephram got up and glared, not saying anything and reluctantly leaving the room. I sighed of relief as he left the room and practically slammed the door, making me jump slightly.
"Nice speach, might want to put a little more emotion into it next time," I winked at Will, jokingly, trying to lighten the mood as I got back up and leaned over Stevie.

It was like being trapped somewhere I didnt want to be, voices were around me, and when i heard yelling I felt like cringing, everything was so loud I becamse irratated. I wondered if anyone knew I was in here...

ooc: Lol, I didn't mean it as in a domestic violence way, I meant it as when growing up Draco had taught him to use anger instead of working things out.

I smiled at Kira and begun wiping up the mess that the spilt water had made (bad grammar, but you know what I mean!). The door creaked open and I expected to see Ephram again. But it wasn't, it was my mother.
"William and Birgit, could I see you outside for a moment?" She asked looking slightly nervous. I gave Kira and quick glance, then headed outside with B. My mother took us over to an empty corner.
"What is it? You're worrying us" I told her truthfully.
"Well, I have some news" She said, twirling her hair in her fingers and biting her lip. "It's pretty big you guys..."
"Mum" I said getting impatient "Is it about Krum? He's alright isn't he?"
"He's fine" She said, then said in one breath "I'm pregnant". I seemed to go slightly dizzy for a moment as the words hit me. How could she possibly be pregnant? I had always been an only child, sure B was as good as a sister, but this was blood. I turned to B looking for some confirmation of how absurd this was.

Everyone left, the room was silent, I could hear everything.
"I think she's getting irratable" I heard a nurse say. "it's horrible she doesnt have parents, she's a beautiful girl." One of the nurses said. "So many people came to visit though" Another nurse said. "Hmm, well hopefully she'll come out of this" the other said.

I stared over Stevie and let go of her motionless hand and walked out as two nurses entered. I looked down the hall to see Hermione, Will, and B in hushed voices then down the next one to Ephram and his father talking silently as well, then in front of me to Ron and McGonagal whispering as well.
I sighed and leaned against the wall, normally I had Stevie there to talk to at times like this, but that had all changed.

"Pregnant?" I gasped, after a few moments. "Mum! How did that happen?" B seemed to struggle not laughing at this,
"It's all about the birds and bee's, Will!" She insisted. Hermione laughed at that.
"Mum! You can't be pregnant! Look at our living arrangments, B and I are already squashed for space!" I said getting irratated, "And we're not leaving home for another few years!" My mother seemed nervous again.
"That is why by the time the baby is born next summer we may have moved to the suburbs. With Krum's extra money we are able to put a deposit in for a town house in Surrey" She said smiling slightly. "William, please be supportive!"
"I am supportive" I said shrugging "It's just that this is a surprise... what about you B? What do you think about this?"

"Me?" I asked suprised. I looked at Will and then to Hermione. "Well... I think it would be kind of great!" I said, shrugging a bit. Seeing Wills reaction I didn't realy know what to say. I didn't really care where we lived, as long as I was allowed with them. But it would be cool to have a baby in the house, really.

I felt someone squeeze my hand. "Stephanie, its Ephram" "Listen....The nurses say you can here me, but I just want you to know, I didnt push you in front of a car, your kindness got you into trouble. Seems like that always happens to you." Ephram paused. "Listen, Dad and I were going through some stuff. It seems as though you have a brother. His name's Bradin. He wants to meet you. But its kind of hard, you being like this and all, so please, wake up Stevie"

I watched as Hermione hugged B, maybe having a brother and sister wouldn't be as bad as it seemed, I mean, maybe Kira and Luke not getting along too well didn't happen to all siblings.
"Well, this is defenetly a shock" I said simply, raising my eyebrows and folding my arms, "But it's great news, congradulations" I hugged her. Then I looked over my shoulder and relised Kira was by herself. "Hey Kira! guess what?"
"No!" My mother said quickly "I haven't told Ron..." I looked up at her suspiciously.
"Why not?" I asked.
"Because we are too busy with all this stuff, so you two keep it to yourselves for the time being. Now, I'm off to Mungo's to see if we can transfer Stephanie." She closed her eyes for a moment. "It's difficult to apparate internationally" There a few seconds later she vanished with a crack.

"What?" I asked and walked over as Hermione vanished.
"Oh, nevermind, turned out to be nothing," Will smiled.
"Oh?" I raised an eyebrow.
"What?" he asked.
"Nevermind, turns out to be nothing," I mocked him and grinned.
"You three," I turned around to hear McGonogal's voice, "We should be off soon, everything should turn out alright -"
"But she hasn't even woken up yet," B argued.

"She will when we get her to Mungo's!" McGonagall said and looked around a bit. "I don't understand how people can get better here..." She mumbled, but we could hear it. "So, get back into that closet!" She added and pushed us towards it. We stepped in and she gave us the Portkey. "Wait there. Stevie will arrive in some time." She said. I sighed, looked at Will and touched the Portkey with them. After the swirrling we landed near the registrator's desk in St Mungos hospital. We all headed towards Hermiones office. In the hallway, she was rushing towards us.
"Come on! McGonagall is coming with Stevie!" She said. We all followed her.
"How did she manage it so fast? Didn't the muggles suspect anything?" I asked as we were on the stairs.
"Apparently they agreed to let her take Stevie. Thats the problems with muggles. They don't care much about their patients..." She said, more snapping. We entered a room and after we had closed the door, McGonagall appeared by the door, holding Stevie in her arms.
"Put her on the bed!" Hermione said.

We watched as she placed Stevie on the bed, Ephram, Andy and Ron had appeared at the door and where watching as my mother walked over to a tray beside the bed and pulled out a few viles. We all stood in silence as Mc Gonagall and Hermione added different mixtures to the potion. Finally a blue mist was coming out of it.
"It's ready" she said, then placed the vile to Stevie's lips. She pulled it away a few seconds later. "She's starting to stir..." We all ran to her side automatically. Stevie's face was twitching.
"Stevie? Can you hear me?" I asked "Stevie? Stevie?" I patted her cheek, her eyes slowely opened. "Hey, it's going to be okay. You're in St Mungo's, you've been in an accident but you don't have to worry. We're all here" I smiled, she looked around.
"Where's Ephram?" She asked.
I stepped back and let Ephram get close to her. I took a few more steps back and watched on, she had asked for him. This was the way it was going to be, it was always going to be him and then me. I looked down at my sneakers.

I stooe be Stevies bed when she opened her eyes. It hurt to see that Will had to step aside for Ephram. I knew it had to hurt to him. I just walked to him and grabbed him into a hug silently. Thats was kind of rude from Stevie. Even though she still might be a bit dizzy/sleepy she should have at least appriciated that Will was beside her! Maybe she was doing it on purpose! Maybe she wanted to hurt us somehow! But why? What could possibly have been the occasion(sp)?

I held B close to me as she hugged me, I really appriecieted it and was glad that I didn't have to say anything for her to understand. No matter how complicated my life got, B understood it.
"She just loved him more" I said shrugging, I didn't blame her, when I was with Rachel I hurt a lot of people without relising it.
"Miss Potter will be back at the castle in a few hours" Mc Gonagall said "And if it is alright by you Andy, Ron and Hermione, I would like to take the others back now. No doubt they have some homework to catch up on." She said looking at us all.
"That's fine" My mother said "We'll stay with Stephanie, won't we Ron?" She came over and forced B and I to hug her "I'll see you guys at Christmas, unless any of you feel the need to run away from school. And if either of you two-" she indicated B and I "-do feel that need then you will be in a worst state then Stevie when I get my hands on you". We all laughed.
"Guess we'll see you soon" I said to Stevie, not looking at her as I left the room.

I held Will's hand when Kira came up to us with McGonagall. With another Portkey we were back in the castle. "So now what?" I asked looking at them both. Kira shrugged, but Will was just being quiet. I looked at the ground for a second. "Well, I say we go to the common room." I suggested. I didn't want to mention Stevie. Lately she has done nothing more then just hurt us. But most of all, Will. How on earth qould we help him? I dodn't know, but thought that the most that I could do is just to be with him, and not let him be alone. Maybe Kira and I could get his mind on something else. At the moment I couldn't think what it may be so I just dragged them both up the stairs to the Gryffindor Tower.

I layed in a bed, Ephram was lying next to me. "I'm sorry" He whispered in my ear. "Why?" I asked turning over. "Because.. I got you into somehting you didnt want to be in" Ephram said. I kissed him. "Ephram..You've done nothing but love me...and thats how I want it" I said and wrapped my arm around him. "Could you hear anything?" Ephram asked. "What?" I asked in confusion. "When you were in the hospital" He said. "Oh...yea" I said turning back over to face the wall. "You have a brother" Ephram stated. "i heard that part" I said. "His name's Bradin. he lives in the US, in New York" He said. "He's a foster child," "Older or younger?" I asked. "Older" Ephram said. "Oh" I said and turned over. "Do you have a picture?" I asked. "Yes" he said and pulled out a picture out of his wallet and handed me it:

"That's Bradin?" I asked. "Yea.. he looks like you" Ephram said. "So what are you saying?" I asked. "You were meant to look the way you do now, I dont believe any of that dark hair stuff, and glasses" Ephram said and smiled. "it's his class picture" Ephram said. "How old is he?" I asked. "A year older than you" "Oh" I said. "How are we supposed to meet if I'm here?" I asked. "He's here" Ephram said.

"You know, I've still got to memorize that weird love song, come to think of it," I shrugged.
"Weren't you supposed to have that memorized 3 weeks ago?" Will asked.
"God, Will, well when you say it like that..." I didn't finish my sentense as we sat down on the couch and Luke walked down from the Boys Dormitries.
"Is everything alright?" he asked from the stairs.

"Here?" I asked. Ephram nodded, Bradin walked in, Ephram immediately jumped off the bed, and I sat up, runing my finger's through my hair that I threw into a ponytail. "Hi" Bradin said walking in. "Hi" I said back. I realized his voice was much like my own. I knew the adoption thing was real. I guess maybe i wanted to not belive it, but seeing someone who looked like myself was scary. "So.." Bradin said playing with his Livestrong bracelt uncomfortably. "So, what did you want to see me for?" I asked. "I wanted to know where you lived, meet you, and show you what i have." He said taking a video out and popping it into a VCR.

I rolled my head, which was leaning on the arm of the chair, over to look directly at Luke.
"No, everything's not okay" I said simply, then got up and headed upstairs to my dormetry, I just wanted to be alone. I sat on my bed and pulled out a book to read, maybe it would distract me. It didn't work, everytime I got half way down the page I remembered that she loved him more then she loved me. I gave up and threw the book back into my trunk.

"Well bradin, it's been great, but i've got to fly" I said. "Floo Powder, anyway" I said. Bradin just smiled. "No wizard blood in me at all, and neither did my..I mean our..parents have any." Bradin smiled and stood up. "You could come with me?"

ooc: He just said he didn't have magic blood, he wouldn't be able to see Hogwarts. Lol.

A short while later I decided to stop moping around my dormetry, so I got up and headed down to the library. As I entered it on the third floor I noticed Madam Prince give me a sceptical look.
"Granger! Get here" She snapped, I walked over my my hands in my pockets.
"Yes, Madam?" I asked innocently.
"Empty your pockets, someone has been sticking gum under the desks!" She said in a snarky tone. I rolled my eyes and emptied my pockets. "Go on then" She said relising I had nothing in them. I headed over to the shelf and pulled out a book on the history of golin wars in the last centuary and headed to an empty desk. Suddenly the fire four desks away from me glew a green flame and Stevie appeared in it.
"Hey!" I smiled walking over to her, "Feeling better?"
"Yes" She said dusting some soot off of herself, "You will never guess who I just met"
"Who?" I asked.
"My brother?"
"You have a brother?" I asked, then thought my stomach jump. It was bad enough that one guy was more important to Stevie then me, but now there was another guy.
