"Sorry" Kira and I said together. I smiled, "Ah Well, She's so dumb she wont remember it anyway" Will smacked me on the shoulder. "It's true!" I laughed.
"I dont care" Will muttered. I shut up, evidently he wasnt liking this.

I laughed, "I have yet to start a war with Hufflepuff, of course you're doing pretty fine managing a war with them on your own," I looked to Will.
"What's that supposed to mean?" he asked.
"Nothing," I sighed, not wanting today to get any worse.
I made a turn to the owlery as the other three headed up to the Gryffindor Common Room. I set Lion down and was about to go out when someone called my name, I jumped and turned around.
"Oh, you gave me a fright Michael," I laughed.
He smiled, "So.. where are you going for winter holiday?"
"The Burrow," I said not so sure if I should mention Grimmauld Place, "Well, my house, sort of.. What about you?"
"Just staying here," he said and tied two letters to his owl. We talked for another minute, until his friends came to the owlery looking for him.
He sent off his owl and left as I finished putting Lion in it's cage. I watched as his owl took off, but I saw it dropped one of the letters.
"Oh," I muttered and picked up the letter. I looked down the hall, but he was out of sight. I sighed and put it in my robes pocket, walking back up to the Gryffindor Common Room.

"Expecto Patro-num" I said to B and Stevie as they practised saying it out loud. "Par-tro-narm" I said it louder.
"I get it" Stevie muttered dully.
"It's important to pronounce it properly or it won't work. And you need a good strong memory, how about when you first got your Hogwart letters?" I asked them both.
"Well, it wasn't a shock, I knew I would be coming" Stevie said.
"Yeah, me too" B nodded.
"Well, can you think of any other good memories? hmm, how about at the Yule Ball last year with Alex?" I asked B.

I thought for a moment and then grinned. "That's perfect!" I said. I closed my eyes and thought about that memory. I raised my hand with my wand and said "Expecto Patronum!" I opened my eyes and saw a cloud of dust, almost shaped to an animal. "I guess that needs some practise..." I said sitting down. "What about you Stevie?"

"Oh...Well I dont know" I stammered looking down at my shoes. "I can't really think of one." I said and turned around looking at the fireplace. I felt someone watching me, Obviously it was Will. I turned around, "Stevie, If anyone has good memories it's you" He said with a smile. I said nothing just stood there emotionless. "My memories might start out good, but everything ends awfull in my case" I said. Just then Rachel walked in, I felt my eyes water and I ran upstairs.

"Hey, Rachel!" I said smiling. I didn't understand what Kira and Stevie had against her, 'probobly Will...' I though, but I didn't see anything bad in her. She seemed very nice and frienly girl. And she was smart like Will.

"Bloody Portrait Hole, the Fat Lady's singing again!" I said walking in. I found B and Will standing with Rachel.
"Ah, hello Rachel, B, and tour guide Will," I smiled fakely.
Rachel stared strangely for a second at 'tour guide Will' then smiled.
"Right, so where's Stevie?" I looked around.
"She went up to the girls dormitories," B answered.
"I can see why," I muttered.
"Sorry?" Rachel asked, having not heard what I said.
"Nothing," Will said for me and I gave him a look.
"Just saying I was going to go check if she's okay," I said and walked up quickly. I opened the door to the dormitory and found her sitting on her bed.
"Hey," I smiled, "You alright?"

I looked up, "Oh Hi, yea I'm fine" I smiled.
"We've got tour guide Barbie downstairs" I said with a laugh. Kira looked at me funny,
"Haven't you ever seen Toy Story?" I asked. She just stared, I giggled,
"When's schools out, you and I are going to have a sleep over like normal girls" I said with a smile.
"So how do we get rid of Rachel?" I asked. Just then B walked into the door.

Me and Rachel looked up stairs quickly as we heard a noise.
"What was that?" Rachel asked.
"B must have walked into the door" I said. ( that sounded funny). "So anyway, Hogsmeade visit tomorrow, have you ever been?"
"No" Rachel said, taking a seat. "But in America we had a lot of wizard villages"
"Yeah, I read about one" I smiled comfortably "It was called Yogsville and it had a lot of shops with trolls goods and all that. Apparently in the early nineties, though, some trolls came-"
"-rampaging through to steal all the stuff!" Rachel grinned "You read Merlin's world guide to wizardry ships aswell?"
"In my third year!" I laughed.
"Why don't your friends like me?" Rachel asked suddenly.
"Who?"
"Well, B is nice, but Stephanie and Kira seem a little...rude" She said, biting her lip like I did when I was nervous.

I looked up and laughed, She moved away, "Sorry a bit tired, and whats all this noncense about getting rid of Rachel?" She asked. 'Oh thats not what we said" Kira said quickly. "Well thats what i heard" She said putting her hands on he rhips. "Well you heard wrong" I butted in. "She has no right to come in and stomp around like she owns the place!" I defended myself. "And you have no right to be mean to someone you dont even know!" B said starting to shout. "Fine then! Go be with your new best friends!" I said and slammed the door on B.

Will looked up as B came down the stairs. "What's wrong?" He asked her. "Nothing" she replied dully. "The girls are mad at me" She said glumly. "kira and Stevie?" Will asked. She nodded her head. "Maybe I better go" Rachel started. "No you can stay, its not you who needs to apologize, you didnt nothing wrong" Wll was starting to get angry.

I walked over to the girls stairs, stepped on it once and they turned into a slide.
"Deffsunama" I snapped with my wand, my feet begun to slide up to the top slide staircase. I walked over to the fifth year's dormetry and slammed on the door. "Stephanie! Kira!" I called.
"Will?" Kira asked opening it "What are you doing-"
"What is your problem?" I asked, stepping inside "Both of you!"

"SHe's not who you think she is" I said to Will, "oh and Why are you in our dorms?" Kira asked him. "because i deserve to know why you two are being so rude?" Will said angrilly.

The slide changed to stairs again and I climbed up, standing by Wills side. I had heard Stevie say that Rachel is not what she seems.
"Then what is she?" I asked. If she was pointing to the fact that she was a veela then that couldn't be it, cause I was girl and that shouldn't work on me, And I thought she was nice. "What problem do you have with her?" I asked and crossed my hand on my chest.

"Bloody Hell, Will! You have problems with people I like and I don't go marching up to the boys dormitories," I stared at him.
"Don't change the subject," he snapped.
"I don't see how I was," I said, setting down my bag.
"Well?" B spoke up, Stevie still hadn't answered her question. Stevie looked slightly lost for words and the room went silent when we heard Rachel's voice from down stairs.
"Hello, Professor," I could hear her. I looked at Will who was standing at the door of the Girls Dormitory with B.

"Uh oh" I muttered looking to all the girls, if I was caught in the girls dormetries I would be in big trouble. "Stevie! Cloak!" I whispered as I heard some footsteps behind me.
"Right!" Stevie said, clicking suddenly with what I said. She leant into her trunk and pulled out the invisibility cloak, I caught it and threw it over my head just in time for-
"Proffessor!" B grinned, pushing the invisible me behind her so no one would walk into me.
"What is with all the yelling in here?" Mc Gonagall asked, eyes darting around the room. "Well? Answer me or you will all be on detention!" Kira and Stevie looked over to where they thought I was standing.
"It was-" I begun, starting to pull the cloak off, but stopped when Rachel said,
"It was me, I started a fight with Kira because I used her make up, I shouldn't have done it. It was irresponsible and immature" She looked around the room, still not to sure where I had gone to.

"Oh... Was that all?" she asked us and I nodded staring at Rachel. McGonagle left us looking around slightly suspiciously. Once she left the Common Room I leant back and grinned, maybe I got it from my Uncles but there was always a great pleasure in not getting caught.
"You didn't have to do that," I said looking to Rachel.
"I know, it was just -" she started.
"No, I meant... Thanks.." I cut her off and looked to my feet, "Right, well, Will you can come out now," I said looking around for him.

"thats all you've got?" I said rudely. "C'mon Kira, Mcgonagle said she bought some kayaks to go down the river with. Let's go" I said and pulled her out of the room.

Kira, in the blue Kayak and I in the yellow, were paddeling fast down the moat outside the castle. "This is fun" I said slowing down a bit. "Yea, it's relaxing" Kira replied. The both of us looked very different than usual, both in khaki's and a baseball cap we laughed.

OOC Guys I'm leaving for vacation on Wednesday, I'll reply monday and tuesday but other than that wed.-sun I'm gone, Drag me along please!! lol OOC

"They look a bit silly, though, don't they?" I said to B, as we sat out on the bridge, overlooking the girls who where unaware we were watching them.
"Bet the giant squids thinking the same thing" B grinned, as we could see it's shadow swimming. "Do y'reckon I could jump from here?"
"You'd break your neck on the bottom" I laughed, lieing back in the cool sun. It was nearly winter, as Christmas was approaching, so a lot of the students where out enjoying the last on the sun for a few months. "Wonder what Draco and Voldemort are doing" I said to her.
"Somthing to end all humanity, no doubt" She replied rather tired.
"Do you think it's going to be different when my mum marries Krum?" I asked, yawning "It's been a while since I've had a dad".

"Look at those two idiots!" I spat, watching Stevie and Kira in the kayak's from the slope. I continued to play exploding Snap with Samantha, but my eyes kept creeping up to them. "Maybe we will get lucky and they'll sink" Crabbe laughed.
"I wonder if they can swim" I smirked, as we all laughed. "Have you started studying for the Charms exam?" Norman asked, flicking a dung bomb down the hill.
"Don't get me started on Flick-half-wit" I said "I asked him what it was about and he said it was 'inclass', well, then what the hell am I suppose to study if I don't know the essay question!" "Good on you" Micheal Crabbe said confidently.
SPLASH
Some girls screamed as the water exploded high into the air
"What the hell was that?" I screamed, hugging Crabbe. The giant squid was throwing it's body around the lake.

"What the--?" I gasped, sitting up so quickly that a sharp pain ran up my back. B and I watched on as the giant squid spun around in the water, waves hitting the shore from the impact as students ran up the slopes.
"What's wrong with it?" B asked nervously.
"I don't know?" I said, my eyes darting to make sure that no one was still in the water. I noticed Rachel running up one of the slopes, her wand out to protect her from the water, that was pretty talented to be able to think of a protection spell in time to-
"Will!" B snapped out of my dazed "Stevie and Kira!"
"No!" I gasped, looking off the edge of the bridge to see them both bobbing up and down with the waves, they where starting to grow bigger and bigger. "STEVIE! KIRA!" I shouted trying to get their attention. "They can't see the waves! There going to tip over!" I told B. I dropped to my knee and picked up a rock, then threw it straight for Stevie. It hit her head, which made her turn around and notice the waves. "PADDLE!" I shouted to her.

My eyes turned wide at the flailing squid. "C'mon Kira!" I said as we paddeled hard to reach the beach. Finally we made it and got out of the kayaks just in time. I ran up the hill, Kira grabbing onto my arm for dear life. "You can let go now, we're outta there" I said to her with a smile. "Oh right" she said and pulled away.

"Good on you!" I shouted to Stevie and Kira as they continued to climb. They got to the top of the slope and ran over, meeting us in the middle of the brige. "That was a close one!"
"What made it mad?" Kira asked, looking around.
"I don't know, but lets get Hagrid or Mc Gonagall to calm him down" I said. Suddenly someone was pulling on my sleeze, it was B. "What is it?" I asked. She pointed out to the water. A massive wave was heading towards the bridge.
"Run?" Stevie asked all three of us.
"erm...I think so" I muttered, we all begun to run north up to the castle, but where to slow as the wave smashed into the bridge. My whole body swung sideways, I gripped onto the railing as it pushed me through, my hands slipping.
Someone was holding onto my foot, squeezing tightly.
"GELP!" I shouted, my mouth filling with water.

I grabbed Will's arm and pulled him forward. He looked down to his leg then back to the water, "I could've sworn," he started.
"Not now!" I looked to him and pointed to yet another wave coming towards us. We all ran as the wave hit the ground and splashed our backs. I nearly fell over but I felt a large hand grab my arm and pull me up, I turned to see Hagrid. There was no time to thank him as he ran to get other students.
"Get inside!" McGonagle yelled to us as a group of professors ran outside with their wands out.
I looked back as the professors ran past and saw the giant squid's arms still flying around.

We watched on in horror as Hagrid leapt off of the bridge, diving into the water.
"What's he doing?" Stevie asked, as I held onto her tightly. Hagrid appeared moments later right next to the squid, he grab onto one of his tenticles, being thrown up high into the air with it.
"He's talking to him!" I said loudly "He's talking to the squid...amazing" All the students behind us where watching in confusment as another wave crashed into the school.
"NO!" B screamed as Hagrid lost grip and thrown back to the shore. He landed in the wave breaking, and ran into Mc Gonagall and Tonks. They talked for a few moments, then they both raised their wands.
"A stunning spell" I told the girls as red lights hit the squid, knocking him to the ground.
"Looks like he's bleeding" Jason Longbottom said behind me, holding his bonoculars up to the squid, "He's tenticle is burnt!"
"That means" I muttered "that he was attacked by a spell..."
