"We have a new Gryffindor!" I blurted out excitedly.
"Will fancies her" Kira added sourly.
"You do?" Stevie asked, looking at me.
"No! Don't listen to her!" I snapped "She thinks that she is a veela, which she isn't!"

I stared at him, "Where is she?" I asked. "Who cares" Kira sighed. "I do, I want to meet-" Just then a girl walked up to me. "hi, you must be Stephanie, I'm Rachel" She stuck her hand out, already i didnt like her, "it's Stevie" I said and didnt shake back. I took Kira by the shoulder and walked out. "theres something i dont like about her" I muttered.

After Stevie and Kira had walked away the new girl turned to me-
"You must be Birgit. I've heard about you too! I'm Rachel!" She said and again stucked her hand out. I shook it.
"Yes, I am! Birgit Black, nice to meet you!" I said smiling and looked at Will, who was gazeing the girl. I held back a bunch of giggles.

"Did I offend your other friends?" She asked, nervously watching Kira and Stevie stalk off. We both shook our heads,
"Excuse Stevie, she has been through a rough few months" I said "And Kira can just be really rude at times. Just give them time"
"Oh, I hope so" Rachel smiled "I mean, I was just talking to Jason Longbottom and all you Gryffindor's seem really nice."
"That's nice of you to say" B said. Suddenly there was a swalking noise as my mother's brown owl swopped down and landed on my shoulder. I looked quickly at B, then at Rachel. "Could you excuse us for just a moment?" B asked, then quickly pulled me away. I took the letter off and opened it

Dear William,
I really don't know how else to say this but I'm getting married! I know! Krum just proposed last night and we are getting married in a few months, during your christmas break so all of you can come over to the Burrow where we are holding it. I am just so excited, I know it is fast but...oh you wouldn't understand!
Anyway, Ginny's my maid of honour, but I want B to be a bride'smaid seeing as she is the closest thing to a daughter I have! And Krum asked if you would be interested in being a groomsmen. I said you would be delighted!
Be nice to him William, I love you both!

PS - I hear about you-know-who, just don't leave Hogwarts. And ignore any rude owls from Ron, he seems to be in a bad mood for some reason.

I looked up at B, my face white with shock.
"Woah"

"No wonder Ron is in a bad mood... How smart your mother can be doesn't she really understand that Ron is the one who wants to marry her? No offence but that is just too obvious!" I said looking at Will. "Are we going to do something? I mean, about Krum... I don't really like him... He's too... erm... bossy or so... Reminds me of Lockhart every time I see him" I said hoping Will agrees with me. As for me, I was flattered that Hermione asked me to be the bride'smaid, but I would enjoy it more if I'd see Ron smileing next to Hermione, not Krum...

"I...I don't think that there is much we can do" I said dully "I mean, she loves him, doesn't she?" B looked to the ground aswell.
"Who loves who?" Rachel asked behind us, which made me jump.
"Oh, it's nothing" I said, I knew that the wedding of Draco's ex-wife shouldn't be public news. "So Rachel, what where you saying?"
"Oh, it's not important" She said, then looked at B "I'm sorry, you seem busy. I should go...I need to go research about Merlin's laws on transfigeration" She smiled at me.
"Merlin's laws...wow! I wrote a paper on that last year." I said.
"Really? That's great, would you mind if I read it?"
"Well, it's not great-"
"Nonsence! I heard you where the brightest wizard in your year"
"Who said that?" I asked blushing "Erm...it's in the library if you want to read it. Under student papers."
"Thanks" She smiled, then walked off.
"Studying on a Sunday?" B asked, eyebrows raised "Sounds like you!"
"Come on, we should find Stevie and Kira, they would want to hear the news" I said.

kira and i sat in the library, Rachel walked in. "I dont like her" I said again. "Not that i dont Stevie..Its just, why dont you like her?" Kira asked. I rolled my eyes "She's a witch" Kira laughed. "So arent you!" She said. I looked at her, "I didnt mean literally", Madam Pince looked up mad.

"Last place I expected to find you two on a Sunday!" I said a few minutes later, walking up to Kira and Stevie in the library.
"Just catching up on..." Kira fumbled around and picked up a book and read the title "seducing a vampire EWL!" She threw the book away.
"That should be in the restricted area" I muttered shaking my head. Then I looked back and showed the girls the letter. "Why would my dad-"
"Isn't it obvious?" I asked. Kira glared at me. "Oh! You are..." I tried to control my temper. "Youy have no idea of people's emotions Kira!"
"What?" She asked angrily.
"He likes my mother" I sighed sitting down with B "At the start of the year my mum said they had a thing in high school and-"
"Ewl!" Kira sighed "I'd rather the vampires then listening to my father's love life"

Will glared at me, and I glared right back, "Well, what do you propose we do?" I asked, "You can't just ask your mum to not marry Krum."
"I know that," Will spat.
"I think we've been gone for too long," Stevie smiled over to B. Madame Pince looked up for a second, and we all quieted down until she turned away.

"Look" I said, lowering my voice dramatically "Ron has dealt with it before and he can deal with it again. If he didn't play on his emotions when he had ten years to do so then that's his fault."
"Do you like Krum?" Stevie asked me.
"My mother loves him and if he makes her happy I can be mature enough to accept that" I sighed.

OOC: Does Kira have a mom? I've always wondered... Well, she must have a mom but where is she?

"You say it like my Dad is the only one with feelings," I said picking up a book and flipping through some pages.
"What do you mean?" Will asked.
"Well, does you mum really love Krum?" I looked to him.
"She's marrying him, Kira," B said.
"Yeah, but they're not married yet," I turned to her and set the book down.

ooc: She did at the start, but she seemed to vanish

"Listen" I said to all three of them "My mother is marrying Viktor Krum and-" It hit all four of us at the same time.
"William Krum?" Stevie said aloud.
"That doesn't matter" I said hastily "The point is that she is marrying him and not Ron. And- What?" I asked, because B was trying to control giggles.
"William Weasley just sounded funny in my head" She muttered.
"Grow up" I said, trying not to smirk "Anyway, we all need to get over the fact that she has made a mature desision and we can not and will not try to change that." I stood in silence for a moment "Now, who wants to go practise our Patronum's?" I tried to change the subject.

OOC: AW, my poor mom!

"William Weasley?!" I blurt out. With that we all got up before Madame Pince sent us out.
We sat at the lake, I looked through a book about Patronum's Will checked out, "How is this supposed to help?" I looked up to him.
"If you actually read it I wouldn't have to tell you," he said and I sat back on the grass, closing the book. Suddenly the ground shook.
"What was that? Did you feel it?" I looked to Stevie as Hagrid walked out of the Forbidden Forest.

"yes" I said and looked towards the forest.
"hello Hagrid!" I called as he walked over. He smiled and walked over,
"Hello, how you all doing?" He asked.
I looked to Will,
"Dandy" I said with a laugh.
"Will, youre name wouldnt change anyway, unless Ron, or Krum adopted you" I said looking at him. He nodded,
"Do you like being a Malfoy?" Rachel asked as she walked over.I rolled my eyes,
"Dont butt in, this is none of your buisness" I said to her and stood up.
"Its hot, im getting my bathing suit and swimming" I said and walked back towards the castle.

I looked up at Rachel. "Don't mind her, she has had a pretty bad year..." I said to her as she sat down next to me. I looked at Hagrid, the at Will "What was that shakeing?" I asked turning back to Hagrid.

"Oh!" Hagrid said, blushing slightly "eard that did yer? Yes, I was just tryin to teach old Gwarpy how ter dance. Hopin ter get a lil friend fer him!" I looked at B as she tried not to laugh with Kira.
"Who's Gwarpy?" Rachel asked, looking around at us all.
"No one" I said clearing my throat "Um, Rach, have you seen around the grounds?" I knew that if anyone else found out about the other giant, Hagrid could be in serious danger "No? Let me show you"
I took her arm and pulled her off towards the whomping willow.

I smiled as Will took off with Rachel. Now he has another one... I sighed thinking that someday he has to choose between Kira, Stevie, Rachel or Charlotte. It was just now that I realised how many girls he really had... Giggling a bit I looked at Kira, to see how she took the idea of Will showing Rachel around.

I watched as Stevie went off then saw Will go off with Rachel, I would've muttered something but I saw B looking at me.
"What? I'm just fine, if he... fine," I lied and turned to Hagrid, "That was close."
Hagrid sighed then looked down seeming to remember something, "Oh! Eh, Kira, I've got something of yers!" he said.
B and I followed him to his hut where he handed me a small owl.
"Lion!" I exclaimed, B laughed.
"I thought it'd be yours," he smiled.

"But why is it here, Hagrid?" I asked looking at him. "Does it have letter tied to its leg?" I asked, lookig at Kira this time, as she was holding the owl.

"...The Willow was planted early 1970's by Head master Dumbledore" I said to her as we watched it from a distance "It's all in-"
"Hogwarts: a History?" Rachel smiled "I know, I have read it like five times! You probably think I am really weird"
"What? Are you kidding? I read it like ten times!" I said in shock.
"Oh my god! What is this meant to be?" Cried a shrill voice behind, I turned to see Charlotte, arms crossed and eyes flaming, her friends behind her. "Oh, I see you are still struggling to get over our fallen relationship?" I glared at her with wide eyes.
"What are you talking about?" I hissed.
"What am I-?" She covered her face "Forget about me! Have your flooseys!"
"What?" Rachel asked confused.
"Ignore her, she is a little odd" I muttered.
"Odd? That's no way to talk bout your girlfriend!" Charlotte snapped.
"Girlfriend?" Rachel asked.
"Girlfriend?" I repeated "Charlotte, we had one date...are you insane?"
"Insane? Insane like a fox William Granger!" She snapped, then flicked her hair (along with all her friends) and stormed off.
"May I ask what that was?" Rachel said, going pink.
"Erm" I muttered "Forget her, have you seen the lake?" I asked, turning around to see it. I could see Stevie at the bay, slowely walking in. Rachel was looking at me. "Do you like her?"
"Stevie?"
"You seem really close to her"
"I am, she's one of my best friends"

I jumped as i put my foot in the cold water, a few others were swimming. I smiled at Lisa Thomas she was wading with some other friends. She grinned back, I sat down on the beach and soaked my feet in the clear blue water. I looked over and saw Will and Rachel walking off.
"He was mine first" I said to myself quietly.
"What?" Kira said coming and sitting down next to me.
"Nothing" I said, Kira had startled me.
"Where's Will off to with his new girlfriend?" I asked with a smirk.
"Who cares" She said and put her arm around my shoulders.

"No letter," I said to B, "Hagrid must of just found it.."
As I said that I saw a group of girls walking to a part of the lake nearby us, one was Charlotte. She looked angry and was flailing her arms all around. I laughed to myself and Stevie and B looked over.
She glared over in our direction, "Here comes trouble," I sighed and got up, "Let's just go inside."

"Well, thank you very much, but I should go" Rachel smiled "I am keeping you from your friends, bye" She waved, flicked her hair and walked off before I could say goodbye.
I don't know if it was because I was staring at her or somthing else, but a few seconds seemed to go for hours.
"Some guy Granger turned out to be!" I heard that shrill voice again, I craned my neck to see Charlotte and her friends had surrounded Stevie, Kira and B.
"What are you talking about?" Kira asked loudly.
"uh-oh" I muttered, my friends and Charlotte had never seen eye to eye, but atleast they made an effort when we were going out. I began to head down to see what was going on. "What's going on?" I asked dully.
"Indeed!" Charlotte snapped at me "Where do you think you are going?" She snapped as the girls continued to walk back up to the castle.
"Charlotte, maybe you should calm down" I said nervously.

I looked at Will. They weren't dateing with Charlotte anymore right? "Hey, Will, mind if I try?" I asked and didn't even let him answer. I turned to face Charlotte. She was a lot shortr then me se I had to look down.
"You're in Ravenclaw, right Charlotte?" I asked her.
"Yes, as the matter of fact I am!" She said proudly.
"Then you should have the brains to understand that Will isn't going out with you anymore. You're finished! To be honest I'm not even sure you have dated. For all I know you only had one date!" I said and put my hands to my hips. Charlotte just stared into my eyes, unable to say anything. Her friends were frosen too. "So I suggest you leave him alone, or you'll have to deal with my evil side again!" I said and pointed out the word 'evil'. "I think you all know what that looks like!" I said and stared at Charlotte evilly.
