"YES YOU CAN!" she yelled. They both burst into laughter.

"Mmhmm..." Vii smiled smugly. She whispered in her ear so no one but her and Brooke could hear, "Do you like him?"

Lori shrugged, instantly avoiding the question, because she didnt know the answer. Which wasnt fair for the little dot that was named her brain.

With the way Lori avoided the question, Vii instantly knew she did. She smiled at Brooke, who didn't seem all that happy.

Lorelai gave a little scowl and began to rub her nail varnish off with the remover as she shook the other bottle in her hand like the instructions said.

Brooke, feeling kinda out of it, decided to go and get some more chocolate. She stood up off of the purple beanbag she was on, she went to the door and opened it. "I'll be back, yeah?" she said, before exiting the door without looking back, and running down the stairs and into the kitchen.

"Come on," Adam muttered. "Let's go over now." Standing up, he walked quietly out of Matties gate and began to creep along the road, pulling the extendable ears out of his pocket as he went.

Lori gave a little shrug and dashed after Brooke, meeting her at the bottom of the stairs. "Somethings up. What is it Brookieee?" She lolled her head to one side and pouted her bottom lip with a giggle.

Mattie laughed. "Yeassss LETS." He laughed and followed Adam down the road, "Anyone else feel bad about doing this?"

Lena arrived at Brooke's house and banged on the front door. After several minutes of waiting she opened the door and entered the house.
"Hello?" She called through the hallway.

Brooke paused and swiveled around as she reached the bottom of the stairs. Shrugging as Lori asked her question, she motioned for her to stay where she was as she ran into the kitchen and grabbed a few bags of crisps and a couple more chocolate bars. Pausing and drawing a deep breath, Brooke went back to Lori at the bottom of the stairs and shrugged again.

"Nah, I just wanna find out what Brooke says. She never tells me," Adam said, dropping his voice to a whisper as they rounded the corner of his cousins house. Standing underneath Brookes bedroom window, Ad began to levitate the Ears, until he heard the whisper of voices coming from the hall window. Pushing them through the slightly ajar window, he separated the ends and gave one to each of the boys.

"I dunno Lori," Brooke said, looking her friend in the eye. "It's just, sometimes I don't know you at all. And I thought we were best friends." Brooke shrugged, but of course the Extendables didn't see that. "I mean, Vienna said you liked Ad, but the other day, you couldn't care more about him than friendship-wise. Oh, hi Lena!" she added, turning to face the door.

Mattie laughed as he took one of the ear ends and waited as he stopped. "MMM, and Lena and Lor." He grinned.

Lori felt like she had actually been punched in the gut. She inhaled slowly and then exhaled sharply. "Ah.. Broo-.." She shook slightly in shock and her motuh opened as if to say something, but she couldnt. "Ad, is my closest guy friend. I dont see him as nothing more at the moment. I mean sure if he wanted to give something a try.. I would more than likely consider it. But i have never ever thought of him as something more.

Mattie glanced around and glanced through a lower windwo. "Hey, Dont Lor and Brooke seem in a bit of a confrntation?"

Vienna watched them both head downstairs. Third-wheel, she thought. "Hey Lena!" she exclaimed, happy for a distraction.

Nick grabbed his Extendable Ear and stuck it next to the window where Vii was. He definitely wanted to know if she said anything about him.

"Ha, yes! I feel really guilty. All in good fun, though, I guess," he laughed, replying to Matt.

"Heeey Viii." Lena squealed loudly as she saw Vienna. "Did you start the party without meee?" She asked her laughing as she entered the house.

"Ahah, not yet," she said, sort of sadly, "Waiting for Brooke and Lori to come so we can talk about the boysss," she stretched, smiling slightly. She suddenly got the thought of intruding and listening to what they were talking about, but pushed the thought away. It wasn't the kind of friend she was.

Nick grinned at Matt and Ad. "This'll be interesting," he said.

Adam frowed. Yeah, Brooke and Nessy did sound in confrontation, but Ad wasn't about to admit that. "Erm, I'm sure it's just a misundersanding," he said in a whisper, confused as the 'misunderstanding' seemed to be about him.

"I'm sorry, Lori," Brooke said, imediately upset as she had mistrusted her best friend. It was a horrible feeling, just horrible, and Brooke felt soo sorry. "But you would tell me, right?" She had to make sure. If anything happened between Lori and Adam, or Lori and anyone for that matter, she didn't want to be the last to know about it.

Lori nodded. "Id tell you before anything happened." She grinned and pounced on her best friend into a hug and giggled. "I'm sorry im such a dooof." She pouted.

Mattie laughed. "MMMHMM, looks laiik they made up now." He nodded his head in that direcion and continued listening. "I wish these girls were a bit more talkative."

Hugging her best friend back, Brooke giggled, and then suddenly felt uneasy. "Come on," she said, dragging her by the hand ran back up the stairs, bursting into her room and throwing the crisps and chocolate into it's middle. Giggling, she grabbed Vienna and wrestled her 'til she was flat on the bed. "Now, gimmie some purple," she said with a giggle, talking about nail polish, of course. Laughing, she stood up and flopped down on the cusions that where in the middle of the room, flicking her wand at the music player in the corner.

"Ano," Adam groaned, although he was grinning. They'd gone running upstairs, no doubt to join Vienna and Lena, and Adam levitated the Ears until they were just slightly in Brookes bedroom window.

Lori laughed and resumed her spot on the floor with the nail varnish and unscrewed the lid. "Spotty nails, spotty nails." She giggled.

Mattie nodded. "Why on earth nails? Gosssiiiip."

Nick sighed. "I know," he said assertively, wishing the girls' would say something that would make him not regret this eavesdropping session.

Vienna told Lena, Brooke, and Lori, "Be right back, 'kay?" She had forgot to bring her things for the night. She headed out the front door and returned in five minutes with her tote bag. She had stuffed the black and aqua outfit she bought especially for her birthday to wear tomorrow inside. She just barely missed the boys hiding behind the bushes and headed inside. "What do you think of this outfit for tomorrow?" she asked the girls. She handed Brooke the nailpolish.

Lori caught a glimspe of Viennas outfit. "That amazing, aaaand Imma tell you now. We're gonna go out for a meal tomorrow. All of us. Fathers treat. AAAAAND we're going shopping." She grinned. "Awh, Brooke. Can I give her my present now?" She pouted dramatically.

"Thanks!" Vienna smiled as she pushed the outfit back inside her "LOVE" tote.

"Ooooh!" Vienna exclaimed. "Gimme, gimme, gimme!!"

Brooke nodded apreciativly at Viennas outfit. "Very nice," she said. "I love the colours." She grinned again, and began to paint her nails with the dark purple gloss. "Huh?" she said, looking up at Nessys question. "Go on then," she said with a grin, pulling out her own, long, wrapped up box. "Butcha ain't getting mine yet!"

"Aww, c'mon," Adam groan. "Start gossiping." As if the girls could hear him. The thought was actually quite funny.

"Yayyy!" Vienna said happily as Lori got Brooke's approval. "Show meeeeee!" she yelled.

Lori grinned and pulled out the envelope with the vouchers for the top designer store out and thrust it at Vienna. "There youu go." She grinned.

Mattie nodded. "Yup, someoneee bring up the gossip and Ad and Lor. Pleaseeee." He grinned.

Brooke grinned. "You'll like it, Vii," she said with a nod, waving her wand over her nails to dry them quickly. Looking up at her friends, she grinned. "Anyone want to chose a song? Muggle ones included, of course," she said, with a nod over at the stereo, which was playing the first few chords of a wizarding band Brooke didn't recognise.

"Why d'ya wan' them to talk abou' meh and Lor?" Adam asked with a scowl over at Mattie. But it quickly turned into a grin when Brooke began to speak again, as he was certain she was about to change the subject. Which she did, but to nothing he was interested in. "Aw, c'mon!" he moaned again.

"I'm not picking, I dontr like picking... Its all the same to meee." Lori grinned and looked at the others. "Hey. Game of truths?" She suggested with a grin.

"Oh. My. God!!!" Vii yelled. "This is AWESOME!!" She gave Lori the tightest hug she had ever given anyone in her life. "I love youuu!"

"Hmm.." she said, answering Brooke, "Do you have Got Dynamite by Demi Lovato?" She absolutely luvved it.

"Oh, yesss. Game of truths. I need to hear them!" Vii said happily. Lori had made her day.

Nick was excited. "Now's the time!" he said, whispering, clutching the Ear tighter.
