Remus tickled the pear on the portrait and it swung open. The Maurauders clambered into the hustle and bustle of the kitchens, where the house elves were busy cooking for the students in the Great Hall. James and Sirius headed straight for the food but then Remus saw something that made him lose his appetite completely. Standing with her back to him was Sophia. He knew that he had to face her eventually but did it have to be now? Maybe if he could get the invisibility cloak from James (who had it draped over his arm now that they no longer needed it) he could hide? But it was too late. She turned around and saw him. |
