Watching as the whole scene flew by right before her startled blue eyes, anger teared through her. What was Delius's problem? Who did he think he was? Brushing her blonde hair back, she grabbed her book bag and headed straight up to the boys dorms, earning some confused and appreciative looks from the Slytherin boys as she made her entrance into Snape's dorms.

Spying him sitting on his bed, she recoiled slightly, not knowing what to say. She wasn't exactly a Hufflepuff, she couldn't just go up there and say kind things to him. It probably didn't help that she had never spoken to him before even though he was in her year.

Edging towards him slightly, she whispered his name, hoping to not startle him too badly. "You shouldn't let him walk all over you like that." She said softly, wondering what could be running through his mind right now.

Snape looked up from his Potions Book; he saw Serena and snapped it shut quickly, "What are you doing in the Boy's Dorms?" He hissed at her, she felt sorry for him, he was gonna show her he didn't need looking after, "What would you have done? Flicked your hair at them? Attack them with self-applying nail polish?" He knew she was beautiful, but having an amazing looking girl sitting on his bed, close to him, whispering his name... It was almost too much. He swept his hair off his face and looked her in the eye, "Look at who your talking to! Someone like you doesn't have to talk to someone like me..." He bent his head down to hide the shame that was clear on his face.

James nodded at Peter.
"Lets go...maybe the girls will follow, eh? Hmm...i wonder where 'ole Snivellus is?" he asked, Peter, his eyebrows raised. He stood up, and walked to the door of the common room, and walked out. He made his way down to the wall, and immediately plopped down at his house table and started to eat. He was starving....

Listening to his insults of what she could have done, she shook her head ignoring them. She couldn't blame him for them, it was something she would have done in his place too. "I would have done something." She said challenging him. She wanted him to step up for himself. To stop letting his fellow Slytherins bully him. She should have helped down in the common room and now she felt horrible that all she could have done was sit and stare.

"Why are they bullying you?" She asked honestly. Serena wanted the truth, not some garbled up version of it she had heard from her many gossiping girl friends.

"What do you mean someone like me? and someone like you?" She said coldly. "There is nothing wrong with us and we can talk to each other if we want." She was fired up over the fact that anyone would disapprove of her talking to a Slytherin. Sure, over a Gryffindor maybe but a fellow Slytherin. They would have to be brave to tell her that.

Peter sighed as he watched James walk out of the Common Room, before hurrying to catch up with him. His short legs carried him as fast as they could, but they didn't carry him to his friend until James had begun eating. He sat in the seat next to him. 'No sign of Remus or Sirius.' he muttered, before pulling food onto his own plate and starting to eat it.

Lily was honestly taken aback by Olivia's words. She'd been joking. 'Wai - what?' she exclaimed, quietly. 'God, Olivia, I was joking! I didn't expect you to really have a love interest - even if it's not official. Who?' she asked, watching Olivia's face with interest and curiosity.

Olivia sighed, there was no way she was getting around this now. "SiriusBlack" she mumbled quickly under her breath. Livvy had always prided herself in being able to flirt with any guy wihout getting attached to them, but now she wasn't sure she could keep that up.

'Sir - Sirius Black?' Lily asked, as if to double check the answer. 'Well, I can definately say I don't like him that much but . . . if you two . . . you know,' she bit her lip. 'then I'll support you one hundred percent. Besides, he's not picked up a girl in a while, so he might not be too hard to get.' she smiled.

'And if you don't take risks, you never get anywhere.' Lily didn't look at her friend, she was more interested in a picture they'd just passed. After a moment of studying it, she turned back and looked straight on. 'Look, just do something to let him know. And get some food down you first.'

They'd reached the Great Hall by now, and Lily slipped into a seat further up the table, far enough so Potter couldn't hear what she was saying, and she couldn't hear him, either.

"Yea...i wonder where they are..." he muttered as he dug into his food again. it was very good, and he was starving. When Lily and Livy entered, he pretended he didnt see them, and merely looked at his food and Peter.

Peter sighed inwardly to himself, before taking a bite out of a chicken leg. Remus and Sirius needed to know about the incident with Snape, if they didn't know already.

James merely looked at Peter, and then glanced over at Lily. He wondered what he could say to her...somehting funny or serious? He looked at Peter, and then at Lily.
"Hey...Lily...can I have a word with you? Its nothing about me, I swear!" he said, glancing at Peter and then back at her. He had an idea.

Lily barely heard Potter, but she sighed and turned, sliding down the short bit of the table that seperated them so she could hear him properly. 'Have a word? You've just had several. What do you want?'
