Allie smiled when she heard her friend mutter that she liked James. Now that is done. She looked at Sirius and grinned. Finally. She turned around and looked at Lily and James to see what James was going to do.

Anthea felt stupid for asking that question and fell silent on the board. It was a pathetic attempt to start a conversation and he didn't want to talk. She looked down at her hands not really wanting to look over at Jordan who probably would be mouthing more words. Ones that probably wouldn't help. Even if it was a good one he wasn't much of a talker.

Love, a voice muttered in his ear.

"L-Lilly, I - do - you - I -love - like - me?" he asked nervously. He didn't know himself what he ment. He just looked at her. "You like me?" he blurted out. "I think - I might - too," he added in a whisper, so light only she could hear it.

Lily smiled softly as she noticed how nervous James had suddenly gotten. "Yeah I do" Lily mumbled and felt herself blushing a bright crimson-far more crimson than James's current blush. She looked like a very rip tomato, she sighed and felt her blush subsiding. "You do?" She asked smiling she glanced up into his eyes. "Is everyone staring at us?" She asked in a whisper and smiled.

"Yes," James said, not taking his eyes off of her. He spoke of both things: he did like her and yes, there were people staring at them. He could feel their eyes on them. He smiled and bit his lip nervously. "Can we go somewhere alone?" he asked in a low whisper.

"Sure" Lily nodded and nervously bit her lip. "Where were you thinking? I-it does look like a nice day out so the lake is always an option." Lily was nearly whispering. "Or do you have any ideas?" She asked and bit her lip nervously once again.

"The lake sounds good," James said. He got her hand and climbed out of the portrait hole. He didn't know what to say, it was a little awkward for him. He led her to a place, his secret place, that no one knew of. He was on the rocks near the bottom of the cliff where Hogwarts was on top. He sat down and waited for her to sit beside him, scrabbling his mind for something to say. Maybe she'd say something.

"Wow this place is really beautiful" Lily smiled and took a seat next to James. Personally she was glad they were near the bottom of the cliff if they were at the top she might freak out a little bit. She was one to have a slight fear of heights. Turning her head she chuckled, "You know they'll probably watch us from the common room!" She laughed nervously and began to flatten out the creases on her skirt.

As the two left Sirius watched them curiusly like a playful puppy. Once out of voice range, Sirius laughed and replied, "Those two are really something," as he turned back to Allie. He was tempted to watch them from the common room window but felt the urge to remain where he was with his girl by his side.

Allie watched curiously on what was going on. She smiled when James got all nervous. Lily is the only person who makes him nervous. She smiled. That was so cute. She smiled and turned back to Sirius when the two of them left. "They are." She giggled. "Wonder where they are going."

ooc: Do you realise we are still on our first day back?

Sirius shrugged. "Don't know," he replied casually. "Probably someplace out of the way. As if we would spy on them," the Marauder added jokingly.

Allie laughed "As if we would want to do that." She said, but she was eager to know where they were off too. She put them out of her mind for a while and smiled at Sirius. She realised just how cute he looked when he made that cute puppy face.

Allie nodded. "I guess." She looked at the watch. They still had a long time before dinner. She held Sirius' hand in her's. "Have you ever felt alone?" She asked him. "Like everyone was around, and yet you were alone?"

Gently squeezing her hand in his, Sirius was slightly taken back by her question yet thought about it for a moment. "Actually, yes," he replied," In the first brief moments after leaving Grimmauld this summer, before I headed to the Potter's house. But then again being disowned by your family is bound to do that, I guess, no matter how much you dislike and disagree with them."

Allie nodded. She didn't press this matter any further, in case Sirius got upset. She didn't want to upset him. She looked around the empty common room. It was just Sirius and her in there.

Feeling a change of scenery was in order, especially since he needed to take his mind of his admission, Sirius asked with a smile, "How about we have that walk I interupted earlier?"

"Sure." She said and stood up and walked out of the common room with Sirius. "So." She said. "Who was the last girl you dated again?" She asked him, smiling. "I kept track of most of them." She did. She had missed out on the last one since she had to leave school early because of her Grandfather's death.

Exiting along side Allie, Sirius replied, "Does it matter?" All that matters is now, with you he thought to himself. Turning to meet her gaze he added smiling at her , "Tho if it does, I can't really say since its been all summer. She obviously didn't have an effect on me." Not the way you do.

"Not really." Allie said when he asked if it mattered. "So you mean you don't remember who you dated before the summer break?" She asked him. She was a little surprised by that. She always remembered who she went out with before, but then again, she didn't change her boyfriends all that soon.
