Sirius' heart was also beating fast, if not faster as Allie's nod confirmed everything. "Good," he replied, "then you won't slap me." Then before she could say anything, he kissed her on the cheek. He restrained himself, not going for her lips to push their relationship too fast.

Okay not quite the response I was thinking of, he thought. One of us should say something before we just stand in the middle of the hall.
Deciding to further take the inititiative, Padfoot straightened up and replied nervously, "Uh...the feelings mutual..I mean I like you too."

Allie looked around at the first years and then nodded. "Did Lily send you down here?" She asked him. ooc:  Allie started to walk towards the common room. She had a pathetic grin on her face. She was happy. You could see that. Life was starting to get better for her. They reached the common room. It wasn't far since she hadn't gotten very far with her 'walk'. She gave the password and looked at Sirius before the two of them walked into the common room together.

The moment Thea heard Jordan say backfire she gave her friend a look. This look said, 'You mean to tell me if Snape hadn't been roped into helping this board could have dropped me or flung me somewhere else. We'll talk about this later.' She lost the look when she knew Snape used his magic to help back up Jordan's. She now wondered what Matchmaker Jordan would try to pull next. | |
