Walking through the portrait hole, Sirius was a little surprised to see Lily already there since he had left before her and thought he had taken the most direct route, by Marauder standards that is.

Shaking his head to clear the thought, he walked over to Peter and asked, "So Wormtail, any luck finding are two missing compadres?"

Peter smiled at Lily and then turned to Sirius. "I just got here myself," he replied. "I don't see them anywhere do you? Odd for Moony to miss class."

Sirius shook his head and replied, "Nah, nowhere. Odd, definatly especially not on the first day," and not when there's a new moon, he added to himself.
"Too bad we never came up with a Marauder locating device. We'll just have to suggest it to Moony."

I should have known she's find out sooner or later he thought, with Prongs' big mouth. "That might work if our James doesn't have it with him," Sirius replied as he ran up the stairs to their dormroom to search for it.

Peter looked at Lily in shock. 'Prongs must have told her everything!' he thought. He then noticed that Padfooot had ran off to find the marauders map. Sighing, Peter followed him up to the dormitory and dropped his school bag off.

Anna left the great hall when she felt full and headed to the common room. As she stepped through the portrait hole, she saw Lily, Sirius, and Peter. She heard Lily say something about Remus' wof thing, but she didn't want intrude, so she waited. When Sirius was gone, along with Peter, she stepped through and walked over to Lily.

"Hey Allison," Lily smiled, she heard the door opening and smiled at Anna as she walked through. "Hey everyone," she said again and gave a quick Don't worry I won't go on look to Sirius and Peter. She was saying simply she was dropping the topic.

Allison nodded. She didn't have a class after lunch, so she had left her bag in her Dormitory. She walked towards the portrait hole, waiting for the others to catch up.

"You did what now?" Remus said, looking at James as if his head was knocked off. "I didn't expect that. Wow," he said as they climbed the stairs to the Common Room. He looked at James and smiled. "Do you like her or something?"

James' skin turned crimson. Was this a good idea to tell Remus? He wouldn't laugh at him like Sirius or possibly Peter would. His face went its normal color and he looked at his werewolf friend. "Of course! I wouldn't have kissed her if I didn't!" Whoops. He said that too loud.

Remus chuckled and said the password to the Portrait Hole and went through, followed by James. He sat on the couch, were James sat beside him, and they sat there for a minute.

Peter left the dormitory and came back down to the common room. "Prongs! Moony!" he exclaimed when he saw his friends. "Where were you? You two missed potions class you know. Padfoot and I have been looking for you!"

Remus looked at Peter. "James had to help me with my problem and I had to take my medicine in the Hospital Wing, remember?" he said. He tryed to point out the obvious: The full moon was nearing and he had to take the potion that calmed him down. They had to wait on the potion to get done, which it was almost done when they got there but it took about the whole time to finish. "Do you understand, Peter?"

James chuckled, looking into the fire and at Peter. "Seriously, Wormtail, if you don't get it, you are just an idiot," he smiled playfully at the two.

Sirius had followed Wormtail down from the dormatories and reached the common room as Remus explained why they had missed classes. Damn, he thought, my lunar calundar must be off.

Hearing what Lily said, he approached the group and said to Lily, "So that's how you knew."

Acknowleding the smile, Sirius sat down in a chair next to the couch Remus and James were sitting on. Then I thought occured in Padfoot's brain. "Hey! if you knew all this time and I..eh...miss calulated..the time, how come you asked me where James and Remus were?"
