"Lilykins?" Lily asked raising her eyebrow suspiciously, "Thats the 'name' James uses all the time when he tries to get me to date him. I'm sorry Sirius, I don't like you that way." Lily said this in a joking tone, she laughed though and smiled again. "But, Sirius what I mean, is that I know someone who does--but I can't get into specifics, you'll understand sooner or later. She paused for a moment and looked towards Allison, who was standing not-so-far off and gave her signature hello, but mischievious smile. She smiled again and spoke to he friend, but still to Sirius in the same go. She was telling him in her own way that Allison was the one who liked him. She herself thought he liked her.
"--Hey Allison" Lily smiled and as she said the name Allison she gave Sirius the most subtle Wink you could ever give someone. In her own way she was saying her.

She told me this morning...when I told her about what happened this summer...and I assume that Peter and Remus know already--just because I know James can be somewhat boastful...sometimes, and I swear I heard him yell 'I KISSED LILY' when I was sleeping...bad move really, haven't confronted him on that...but I'll probably not, its not a huge deal...anywho, just wanted to let you know that Allison's liked you, for quite sometime now.

Peter looked up and down the hallway and couldn't see any of his mates. 'Great,' he thought to himself. 'First Prongs and Moony go missing and now Padfoot as well!' Sighing and giving a couple of first years who were glancing at him a very evil stare (in Wormtail standards), Peter turned and started to make his way to the Gryffindor Common Room, since that was where Sirius had suggested they should look for their mates. |

"Actually there's a short cut potion route you could take, just put the wormwood in now and stir it in counter clockwise, I know the book says clockwise, but that way you have to make it steep for two months and thats unreasonable." Lily nodded, "So what you do is crush the vervain and use the infusion of wormwood right after, only one drop becuase its very potant...and then stir three times counter clockwise." | |

Thea got in her common room and headed to her dorm room. She put her potion book away and got the next book she would need. She looked to see if anyone was in the room before sitting on the bed. She grabbed paper and a pen and wrote a quick message to Lily.
Lil,
How is it going? How did you do making that potion by yourself without your partner? Even I found it ood that Potter was missing and even more shocked when Remus wasn't there. He almost never misses class. What's next...class wise?

She grabbed a paper that appeared in her lap, reading it she smiled softly knowing she wasn't the only one who was odded out by the lack of Remus and Peter.

I'm good and You deary? Oh I knew a short-cut to the potion...just something I accidentally came up upon a few years back, the books tell you the more complicated forms of the potoins, usually if you stir in the oposite direction the potion then steeps faster! Oh, well there's lunch almost immediately after this but I've got Double Defense Against the Dark Arts...this will be fun, I bet eh? And it deep get a little odd that both Remus and James were missing. I wonder where they went...James might have been informing the entire school that we-well, kissed two times this summer...if its that I definately won't be able to be my 'normal' self this year...oh guess what, Sirius knew about it...and so does Joey, and Patricia...wonder who else knows really!

| Sirius was on his way towards the Gryffindor Common room as the note appeared in his hand. Sirius thought it might have been from James or Remus filling him in. Opening it and reading it he smiled. She likes me and I like her! he thought. Boy, potions will definatly be interesting.
His thoughts now filled with Allison, he wondered if he should tell her his feelings. Even though I date a lot of girls, I'm not as boasterous as James is about his feelings. Putting the note away for the time being, he continued his journey to find his friends. | |

Lil,
I'm okay and I never did like using that potions book. Especially with that potion we did today, Before my grandmother died I saw her make it differently then the book says. Also Snape did it the way you were talking about. I'm actually glad I got to work with him. Strange right? I actually got him to somewhat smile, okay it was a smirk but it was something. I know what people say about him but he seemed like he was more of the quiet studieous type..you know the type that like to be left alone. Not snotty or rude. I don't think I'll be at lunch...I'm not really that hungry. Oh and I'll be seeing you in that class. Hehe....It may not be one of my favorites but DADA professor at the end of last year asked me to assist. Especially after finding out that I wasn't going to take the class after last year. I got E in his class. I don't know why I'm one of his favorite students? Oh and don't ask me what he is going to have you do in class I don't even know. And the reason I was not going to take the class was because I wanted to either have a free period or I forgot the other reason.
Anyway I don't think the whole school knows about you and James. Other wise the Slytherins would have already done or said something. Especially Sirius' brother and cousin and lets not forget Malfoy. You know they would have jumped at the chance to insult or to make fun of that.

You are actually very, extremely right. Hopefully thats not what his plan is, I mean...I don't want to have something like a picture of us kissing disguised from all but me, and everyone know about it....he'll probably do something though...like in the common room while I'm studying try to pull a move over one me. You know, the James stuff...or try to ask me out again, but I don't know if I would say yes or no...what should I say? Gah, hard question to ask yourself isn't it. But hun, Snape doesn't seem to be that bad of a guy...I mean we were potions Partners in first year, he's not a completely deadly person at all. Although he's made some dark spells--the ones James uses to mock him are ones he created and developed. Funny isn't it? Yeah see you in class-oh and Thea there's a new Professor this year...Professor Lupin, Sr. The other one got attacked by billions of death-eaters and is now in Mongos...but he's comming back- he was able to protect himself so he only got a big cut on his arm, and he's getting it fixed...so he'll be back tomorow!

Thea read the letter and quickly went to her trunk. She swore she got something from the professor saying something like what Lily just told her. Sure enough it told her just to go to class and the sub would know already. She looked at Lily's note and reread the part about Snape. She thought Lily would be upset since Snape called her that foul word back during 5th year.

This will be my last note till class. I just checked my trunk remembering the Professor sent me something about what you said. I think he had a nurse write it. Anyway he told me just to go to class and the new one would know that I am there to help. Wow he got attacked by a billion death eaters? That seems a little strange and got away with just a cut? Anyway about Snape aren't you a little upset that I think he is an okay person...you know since he called you that name 5th year?

That was a long time ago...and anyhow, I kind of found out we might be distant relative this summer...strange isn't it...Don't personally plan on bringing it up, but the only reason I noticed it was because I was looking over a family tree my mum sent me and the name 'Prince' was on it...and his mum's last name was Prince. And don't worry about responding there deary...I'm in the common rooms now, so I've got to dash anyhow, nice chatting with you deary!
