"I don't know," sighed Brant. "But this means we can't do anymore scheming, mate." He would be forced back to the Gryffindor common room and Chad was part of Hufflepuff.

Raquel rolled his eyes. "You'll see him at supper," she said. "Stop being such a baby and let's go."

Chad smiled at this buddy and shook his head in amusement. He hardly wanted to go back to his Common room. but, he really had no choice in the matter.
"Don't worry Brant.. We'll see each other again... Someday" Chad said, putting his hand to his form a dramatic pose and then smirking at Raquel,
"Keep him company won't you? Make sure he doesn't stay up to late or eat to many candybars... Too much sugar and he won't be able to sleep."

"Right," said Raquel with a nod in Chad's direction. "Come on, Brant." She then stood up and began dragging him out of the dungeons.

"Ow! No need to be so rough," he mumbled. "See you, Chad, mate," he said to his friend with a wave as they both exited and headed straight up the stairs to the Gryffindor Tower.

It was the Saturday after they had planned their Hogmeade trip and through many trips to the Library, And after searching the castle. They had not only sucessfully found the One-eyed witch. But, They had also managed to stay out of trouble long enough for none of them to have detention.

Chad was waiting calmly on the Seventh floor for his freinds to assemble. They were going to be sneaking out later that night. but, Chad still insisted opon meeting up before hand to go over the plan one last time.

Raquel and Brant were leaving the Gryffindor tower now to meet Chad. He had told them to meet before hand. Raquel couldn't understand why, but she went along with it anyway. It was two boys against the one girl and she learned not to argue with them anymore.

"Hey, Chad," greeted Brant when they had arrived at the designated meeting place. "How's it going, mate? Exciting for tonight? Should be fun, eh?" He ran a hand subconsciously through his hair. "So, let's go over this plan."

"Hey... Well normally I'd wait for Serena and Roslyn. But, I already talked to them ealier this morning," Chad said, pulling the two of them into an empty classroom so as not to be overheard. The Hufflepuff grinned excitedly at them. He had been counting the hour and mintutes untill they could go on with their plan.

"Alright. So first off, Me Brant and you Raquel all get together tonight at eight o'clock sharp in Entrace hall, from there we'll walk up the steps and wait by the One-eyed witch for the coast to clear... Now no one will suspect the three of us hanging out together. But, if it's all five of us just walking around then people might notice something.

"And that's why Roslyn and Serena will come fie mintutes after we've given them the all clear... When they arrived Brant and I will stand guard by the statue while, you three girls go off together through the witch. After a bit of waiting Brant and I will then go through the witch as well and then it's smooth sailing from there!!" Chad said. Paceing back and forth as he talked and saying all this as though it would be the easiest trip ever. After he was finished he turned to his freinds and grinned again brightly.
"Well!! Isn't it perfect? It's the best plan we've ever concocted are whole career!!"

"It's brilliant!" said Brant as he punched the air excitedly. He couldn't wait for tonight. He was so sure nothing could go wrong. They had planned it all out so carefully so as to not get caught by any of the teachers or even students who might turn them in.

"Sounds good to me," nodded Raquel. "But I want to go outside now. It's really a nice day and it's Saturday so I don't want to spend it doing homework." She, like the next person, wasn't fond of homework. "You two guys wants to join me?"

"Heh... No.... YES!" Chad said, laughing and already walking out the door. How he had been nervous before he hardly knew, nothing could go wrong with the plan. Nothing and maybe while everyone else was busy he could even treat Serena to an ice cream cone...

"Any luck finding a date the Rae? I'll tell you it's hard finding a guy who'll agree to go out with you in this school... I'm beginning to think Brant's right about your scareing them off." Chad said. shaking his head at the hopelessness of her situation. Poor Raquel doomed forever to be loveless and alone. Oh the shame!

"I didn't try to find myself a date," she said. "And I don't scare guys off. I haven't scared you two off, have I?" she looked over at them as she spoke.

"Of course," said Brant. "That's because we don't want to date you though. Frankly, you'd make a pretty scary girlfriend if you ask me." He laughed.

Raquel crossed her arms. "The two of you are so mean sometimes," she muttered walking in between the two boys. "Some friends you've both turned out to be."

Rosalyn joined Raquel, Brant and Chad as she saw them heading out of the castle. She was heading out for some fresh air herself so she decided to join them. "Hi all." She greeted with a small smile. She saw Raquel with her arms crossed and looked at her. "What's up, Raquel?"

"Oh, hey, Rosalyn," said Raquel with a smile. "Nothing much is going on," she replied as she lowered her crossed arms. "What about with you?" She looked happy to have another girl around and not just the two boys.

Rosalyn shook her head, "Not much either. Just finished some homework." She answered with a sigh. "I know, Saturday and I'm stuck in the library doing my homework. Oh well." She smiled and rolled her eyes. It was typical of Rosalyn to want to get on top of her work. There was very rarely a day that went by without Rosalyn in the library.

"Studying?" laughed Raquel. "I could never study on a Saturday." She shook her head. No, she did her school work during the week. She preferred it that way. On weekends, she liked to have fun.

Rosalyn nodded, "I know. But I like to keep ahead of my studies. I have to study every day or I'll just lose track of everything." She sighed, shaking her head. To be honest, Rosalyn didn't lose track of her work at all. She just got really paranoid about it if she didn't study. She thought her work would pile up if she missed a few hours of studying.

"Well, I admire your dedication," said Raquel. She wasn't the type to get worried about schoolwork. Not now at any rate. "I could never keep ahead. I'm always just on pace. Works out better for me that way."

Rosalyn smiled, "Thanks." She nodded at Raquel's words and shrugged her shoulders. "I wish I could do that. I know me, I'll get paranoid about it or if I put it off once I'll put it off...all the time." She chuckled, rolling her eyes at her own doubts.

"I try not to put off my work, but I end up doing it sometimes," laughed Raquel. "Of course I somehow manage to catch up. Sometimes I don't know how I do it." It amazed Raquel how she did her schoolwork at all sometimes.

Rosalyn laughed then shook her head. "No, after the mess I got in during Fourth Year, I'll never let my work slip again." She explained, recalling the time she'd had so much work to do that she'd gained dentention for two weeks straight. To be fair, those detentions did help her catch up. But still, she didn't want that to happen again.

"Why? What happened in your fourth year?" Raquel asked curiously as she looked over at Rosalyn. She couldn't imagine he girl ever getting herself into trouble.

Rosalyn rolled her eyes, grinning. "Well, fourth year, Dyl--he and I didn't really get a lot of work done. We'd sneak off to the Room of Requirment, or to the grounds. Well, eventually, my work mounted up and I had no homework to give in. I earned detentions every night for two weeks." She laughed, recalling how angry the Professors had been. At the time, it had angered her, but now she merely found it funny.

"Oh, I see," said Raquel. "Skirted responsibilities for a boy," she giggled. "Well, I suppose it happens to all girls at one point. You get involved and sometimes lose track of all the other things in life. Sometimes it's just hard keeping up." Not that she knew how it felt, but she imagined that's how it went.

"Exactly." Rosalyn agreed with a sigh. "Can't win, really, can you?" She shrugged then turned to the boys. "How about you two? Any detention slash homework horror stories?" She smiled, most Gryffindors would get in trouble with their work. The only ones who didn't were Ravenclaws, really.

"Horror stories?" Brant asked. "Nah. Detentions not that horrible, really." He grinned. He had had some bad detentions and some actually fun ones. Of course those fun ones he had been with a friend. Although sometimes pranking the teacher while in detention was fun too. Only it usually earned him another week's worth of detention.

Serena sighed, twirling her hair as she sat in the Great Hall, thinking over the plans that had been set for tonight. Wasnt it weird? She was hanging out with a bunch of people who weren't from her own house. She didn't like it but she did remember the old saying though. "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer." If she hung out with them like these, she would at least be able to see if they had any suspicisions of anything.

Chad grinned wickedly as he recalled several bad detention stories, of course bad to him was more like awesome.
"Yo Brant.. Remember that time we escaped Professor Viktor by pretending to be trapped in eachother's body? Man, I still can't believe he fell for that one!" Chad said, luaghing at the memory and shaking his head.

Chad turned his head slightly and caught sight of Serena and waved to the young women. Chad hastilly pushed back his hair and was pleased that he was dressed in his best robes.
