Many years have passed since Voldemort’s downfall. All has been peaceful and well for the most part. But after having rounded up the last of the Death Eaters strange, evil things are beginning to happen all over again. A new Dark Lord is slowly rising to power. He’s released all the old Death Eaters to begin a new, dark regime.

But who is this mysterious person? Where did he come from and why is he here? Not even the Death Eaters know the answers to these questions. No one has seen his face. He keeps a long, black cloak on and hides his face with the hood.

But as far as anyone is concerned this mysterious Dark Lord could be just about any person. Many shady people are seen in the local pubs everyday with the black cloaks and hoods to cover their faces. How did such a person rise to such power so quickly and so subtly?

The answer lies within a single, Wicked Rose. This one, evil rose is said to be so wicked that whoever comes in contact with it is plunged with a dark aura and turned into a Death Eater with no thoughts of their own. Their only purpose is to do the bidding of the Dark Lord.

And it’s now a new year at Hogwarts. A new dark cloud has surrounded the castle. The students are lucky to be back this year for the Headmaster had been considering closing down the school. The new year is going to go on but no one knows what will happen. There are rumors that the Wicked Rose is at the school and that there are students who have been possessed and are already fulfilling the Dark Lord’s purpose.

What will happen? Is the Rose really at the school or are those rumors just that—rumors? What about the students that have been possessed? Will they be found out? What is the Dark Lord up to exactly? Who is the Dark Lord? These are questions that remained unanswered, but perhaps this year at Hogwarts will help solve some of these mysteries. It’s up to us to figure things out!

The RP takes place after Harry’s years at Hogwarts but before his kids attend so it should only be made-ups. You can choose to be on the good side or else one of the students that have been possessed by the Rose. If you do decide to be on ‘dark side’ you may also choose whether you keep it secret or let everyone know.

You might think she’s the typical blonde with baby blue eyes, born into the most stereotyped family. The most popular and the most gorgeous girl in the school. Well, she’s not. I’m not saying Serena Roberts isn’t pretty and isn’t popular, but if you mistaken her for one of those ditzy blonde plastics than she’ll get in your face about it. She’s been called so many names by people that she won’t hesitate to retaliate. At certain points, she bound to call you names back or if you’re lucky she might just ignore you. Although if you mess with her close friends…well than you might wanna go look up some earlier funeral plans.

Her friends are the most important thing to her. Sure, it’s sounds cliché. But it’s true. They’ve always been there for her and her for them. No matter what. Whether it’s needing a person to listen to them or staying over at her house for a week or two. Some call her a social butterfly but she tries to deny it. Serena just likes to be friendly and talk to people. Another most important thing in her life is her studies. Working hard for exams and different homework assignments make her feel complete and satisfied with herself. Background:

Serena comes from a very rich pureblood family. She is an only child and loves occupying the center of attention from her parents. At an young and tender age, she has already been placed in the spotlight with reporters wondering if she'll become a model like her mother or something with an exceptional job at the Ministry. Currently, she, herself has no idea what she wants to be.

When young she grew up with a few close muggle friends but was forced to leave them behind when her parents explained to her that she was different and was to go to Hogwarts, instead of the next public school like the rest of the neighbourhood.

Her family is really into the pureblood purity and have shared their opinions with her various of times.

Quidditch: Brant is like any guy and loves the game of Quidditch. He has always dreamed of playing Chase for the Gryffindor house team, only he never got his chance. Right after his first year at Hogwarts, he was experimenting in his house. His experiment went slightly awry and he blew apart half the house. Lucky for him though, his aunt and uncle were able to fix the house and set things right in no time. But to punish him, they decided to take away the one thing that was truly his, which was Quidditch. A part of him died the day he was banned from playing ever again throughout his school career. But that has never stopped him from practicing his Chaser skills by getting rocks about the size and weight of a Quaffle and practicing his aim and throwing strength.

Personality: He’s somewhat of a rebel. He goes against the trends, what’s accepted and will just go out of his way to do his own thing. He doesn’t care what people think of him and if you don’t like him, that’s fine by him. He doesn’t like you either. Brant is stubborn but he doesn’t get mad easily. It takes a lot to get him mad and if you do get him angry, well, you’d better run.

Family: Both his parents died just before he entered his first year at Hogwarts. The sudden loss of his parents came down on him hard. He was then sent to live with his aunt and uncle, whom he refused to listen to. He was always rebelling and getting in trouble with them. They aren’t fond of him and can’t wait to be rid of him.

It was the first week of a new year at Hogwarts. Only now there was a dark aura everywhere. Just like back in the old days when You-Know-Who had been in power. There was a new Dark Lord that had risen to power within recent years and it was worse than ever. Deaths all summer long, people being possessed--the mood was grim.

It was a morning like any other though. Both Brant and Raquel were down in the Great Hall and trying to enjoy their breakfast. But it was getting harder every day. All morning long all people did was grab a copy of the Daily Prophet to make sure none of their family members had died or been taken by the Ministry for suspicious activity.

"If you asked me," started Brant. "I think people are overreacting about this whole thing. I mean we should just relax, there's not much we can do about it, is there?"

Raquel shook her head and sighed. She didn't want to hear of it. She wanted to talk about something cheerful. "Can we please talk about something else? Something that doesn't have to do with what's been going on, please?"
