Lorcan smiled. "Man, it was a long summer without any competitive Quidditch, I was going crazy. I had a ot of time to think it through." he said laughing. "Ya sounds like a plan, it will be interesting to see who trys out." Lorcan said, getting up and walking with him to the Common Room.
| "I should've taken the time for it during this summer to think it trough."James said, almost starting to feel bad about it.
"But it seems I've spent too much time traveling and going out."He was getting worried that he might fail miserably as a captain but there was no point in worrying about it, all he could do was give it his best.
And besides he was the amazing James Sirius Potter, things always turn out great for him.
"You know I've had this idea for a while but I'm curious about what you think of it."James said."We should have our own cheerleaders, a few beautifull Gryffindor girls that cheers the team on and the fans will have something nice to look at....Ofcourse we'll have to keep a seperate try-out for that, assuming the Headmaster is okay with it." |

"And ya, that cheerleading idea sounds awesome, that would sure motivate me!" he said laughing. Lily and Addelaide headed into the commo room after the first years and headed over to the groups usual spot where Lorcan and James had already parked themselves.
"Cheerleaders?" Lily said laughing as she caught the last part of their conversation. "There had better be some male ones!" she said jokingly.

It seemed as if he really had to think of another way to get close enough with La Perla Malfoy to charm her.
But that could wait till tomorrow.

Hogwarts RPG Name: L'Wren Evans Fourth Year | Louis pranced into the queue, two Gryffindor third years under his arms. They had trailed behind a bit, but hearing the word 'cheerleaders' he laughed loudly, and after a bit of de-tangling plopped into a chair across from James at their usual haunt. "Are we discussing Quittitch?" A trace of Fleur's silky french invaded his Brit lilt whenever he was excited, angry, or the like. He propped his feet up and russled his hair.
Albus was nearly to the Quittitch pitch. It was getting quite dark, but after a few failed charms and levitating spells it was flooded with light. His broom rested against his shoulder, and with loving hands he gripped the handle and kicked off the spongy, but hard ground. The smell of grass, dirt, oak, and night air filled his nostrils, his hair whipped in the delicious wind. He resisted the urge to war-whoop, as not to break the silence only penetrated by the stealthy whip of his figure and broom. Perla closed her eyes and placed a slender hand on her forehead. She could hear the buzz of thoughts before the trample of feet coming from the feast. She quickly extracted the password by a prefect who stared unabashedly at her from halfway down the corridor, grateful for his easy mind. She muttered Baslisk and was able to enter the cold, green-ish-glowing Common Room before the horde appeared. She sat in a high-backed, stone-carved throne next to the windows that gave an almost aquarium-like scope of the lake's depths. |

| "Yeah we were."James replied."Oh I've heard that you are a good Keeper, if you're interested you should try-out."As he said this, he looked around for his bag as he wanted a piece of parchment and a quill to write the announcenment for the Quidditch try-out, it took a while for him to realize he still hadn't unpacked and therefor didn't have his bag with him.
He solved this problem very quickly by getting up and taking some parchment and a quill from a random student that had been working on his homework.
James returned to his seat and started on the notice as he continued speaking again.
"Try-outs will be this weekend and I'm if all goes well we'll be able to hold auditions for cheerleaders too." |

But that could wait till tomorrow.

"That Malfoy girl is in the same year as you right?, are you friends with her by any chance?" | "No sorry James, I don't know her at all. She's not really a fan of us Gryffindors unfortunately, but I know a few Slytherin guys so I can see what I can find out or if I can hang around them for a bit." she offered. Lily looked around and noticed that Albus had not yet joined them, she frowned, slightly worried that she had really upset him. She was hurt but was more than willing to put it all aside to make sure he was okay. She was a people pleaser like that. She got up, mumbling something about needing air, and headed quickly back down the staircase and out the front doors. She did so very quickly so as not to be seen. Soon her feet were padding gently across the wet grass, she sped up, picking up a jog as she headed down to the Quidditch pitch. She knew her brothers too well. She ran quicker a couple of times when eery shadows caused her addrenaline to run a little faster, it was, afterall, very dark. Soon she could see the pitch lights flooding the grounds in light. She slowed and headed out onto the pitch, looking up and seeing her brother zooming around on his broom. She watched him silently for some time, loving the look of a figure on a broom, and he of course was an excellent flyer. Both she and her brothers had become excellent flyers, having been on a broomstick with Harry before they could even walk. She watched quietly, seeing if he would notice her...she didn't want to break the moment for him. She knew what it felt like to be totally obsobed in the moment, only you and your broomstick up there. Lorcan laughed, I am thoroughly enjoying this idea of cheerleaders. I would be so motivated." he said with a smirk. Lysander came into the common room and plopped down in a chair with a big sigh.
"First years!" he said somewhat exasporatedly. "What's this I hear about cheerleaders?" he asked. |

| As James heard this the last shred of hope he had about being able to fulfill this challenge dissapeared.
"Nah it's okay, I'm too old for this stuff anyway...If I want to get to know her better and ask her out I'll have to go to her myself."He replied, not revealing ofcourse how little hope he had in succeeding. Quote:

| "Do I have great ideas or what."He said, starting to smile a bit as he took his mind of the challenge.
"Cheerleaders and Quidditch what a magnificent combination, but who will be attractive enough to be Gryffindor cheerleaders."He intentionly only mentioned attractive enough, and not attractive and talented enough seeing as James couldn't care less about the cheering all he wanted was something pretty to look at during games.
James glanced around the common room looking for potential candidates but with almost all of the populair and pretty girls being family of his, this wasn't an easy task. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Jordan Sixth Year | Lorcan laughed. "I'm lucky, none of the hot girls are my family. I dunno though, Addy would look pretty amazing in a cheerleader uniform." he said winking at her. Addy shook her head at him and laughed. "Nice try, there's no way I'm prancing around in a cheerleader uniform, and besides, you need me as a chaser." she said laughing. |

| "Yeah do keep in mind that Quidditch comes first, But Lorcan did have a good point though."As James said this he mentally pictured her in a cheerleading outfit though he was soon sidetracked by the though of a certain miss Malfoy in a cheerleading outfit.
Upon this thought he got a sort of glassy look in his eyes as he simply sat there, completely silent. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: L'Wren Evans Fourth Year | OOC-La Perla is going to be the seeker for Slytherin, if that's okay, of course, no one has to know this, I was just taking it in case anyone got any ideas . Is Scorpius the captain??
Louis grinned hugely as James talked of the keeper position. He was excellent at Quittitch. Gryffindor was going to be unbeatable this year; the Potter/Weasley/Delacour genes had fine-bred them for the sport. His dreamy thoughts of speed and quaffles were cut short by more Cheerleader talk. He wrinkled his nose, how muggle. When they got into it with more depth he finally realized they were absolutely serious. He looked incredulously at James, and then Lysander, feeling the urge to smack them each squarely in the foreheads. As James's face went slack with thoughts of Perla, Louis prepared himself to take the full effing mickey out of them.
"What the bloody hell are you thinking?!" He sat up straight and yanked his feet from their perch. It was the absolute stupidest idea he had ever heard, and he hung out with some people who were pretty good at coming up with stupid ideas. The disbelieving face would not be removed easily. "You just want something nice to look at? You would honestly be turned on by little prancy cheerleaders like American muggles, and WILLINGLY, during a QUITTITCH GAME?! YOU WOULD BE BLOODY MOTIVATED?" He was nearly standing now.
Merlin, they were simply such idiots. Perhaps it was that Louis was not truly as enticed as them by the opposite sex yet, but NOTHING would ever come before Quittitch. Will firmly believed that having tryouts for distractions in muggle attire for Gryffindor was something he would have expected the Slytherins to come up with, not James and Lorcan. Had someone mentioned "pom-poms" his boiling emotions might honestly have tipped either to sobbing and tears, or murderous anger. "I would have expected a lot more from you as a captain James, bloody hormones of yours interrupt even Quittitch. Harry probably never let girls get in the way of his seeking." Come to think of it...he had heard of Cho, mostly from a teasing Ginny, but that wasn't a bloody mass of females all muggle-ified and American. He was almost sick all over Lorcan, whom he was glaring at. So long for undefeatable Gryffindors. Tell you what, Louis thought, probably out loud, he was so fuming he could very possibly have been actually speaking as he thought it, I'll go ask if Gryffindor can have cheer-what-sits, and we'll resign from the cup while we're at it. Save Slytherin the honor.
Albus flew till the pitch felt like miles below him, the took a sweeping dive that curled and hugged the edges of the grass, his nose almost skimming the white's of the lines. He hugged his shoulders in and shot like a bullet through a barrel and out the other end of one of the goal hoops. He'd have to use that in the next game. A bit of red hair glinted from the other end of the stadium, and caught Sev's eye. He flew casually over, his brow knitted slightly. He was someone who needed a bit of time and mulling-over to let things go. Albus was measured, and while still spontaneous in every-day things, very careful with his feelings. He stopped next to her, tipping his broom up vertically but braking so that he sort of step/slid off next to her. "Lily." He acknowledged her, still staring straight ahead into the night. |

| James was snapped out of his daydreams, but it took his brain a few seconds to figure out why he was scolded and by who, he had never expacted it to be Louis who would bite his head off but then again Louis always had been more passioned about Quidditch and much less about the oppposite gender.
While in James' case it was a very close race between the two.
"Calm down Louis."James asked politely, he feared that Louis otherwise would explode and take out a good chunk of the common room with him.
"What harm could come of it?"He finally decided to say, at first he wanted to deny the fact that he only wanted something nice to look at since he had never said this but he was sure that Louis knew him good enough to know him that this was his main motivation to have cheerleaders so he decided against saying this lie.
"I think you're overreacting."He said as he gestured to Louis to sit down."I'll admit it, yes I would be turned on by these by 'little prancy cheerleaders like American muggles' to put it in your words."
"If that's a crime in your opinion."He didn't want to argue with Louis, so he tried his hardest to remain as calm as he could be, but James wasn't the kind of person that would take it if someone started yelling at him like that. Quote: |

| "Well my most sincere apoligies that I didn't live up to your expectations."He said as he crossed his arms and turned his head away from Louis, being offended to the point that he didn't even want to look at his best friend.
"I'm also so sorry that I'm not as great as my dad."James found the comment about his dad particularly a low shot, he hated being compared to his legendary father, no matter what he did he always stood in his shadow.
Perhaps this was the reason why James always worked so hard in classes, because his father never really stood out there.
The same with girls, his father had always been a bit shy and had only dated a few girls before he married his mother.
But James had been much more succesfull in those two areas but being as fierce as James was with trying to outshine his father, he also wanted to be the better Quidditch player of the two and he thought that with the addition of being known as the one that added the cheerleaders, though he also wanted cheerleaders for the obvious reasons ofcourse, and with winning another cup this year that he would finally be recognized as the better player of the two. |

And besides, they wouldn't be "cheering" during the match, just before, like the Quidditch world cup has, mascots and crown entertainers n' such." Lorcan said in attempt to keep the atmosphere light and not have another fight breaking out. This was too much bloody drama for the first day back. "I knew I would fine you here." she said simply, looking around the pitch. She was somewhat lost in imagining the stands full at the next match, the roar of the crowd mixed with the rush of the wind in her ears. There was nothing better. "Look, I'm sorry about earlier. I shouldn't have got so upset. But you guys touched a sensative nerve and I just got more and more frusterated that my point wasn't getting across clearly. I still don't think it was argued properly. Anyways, that's the past, my point is, you shouldn't judge Addy based on what I've said, it's not fair to her. Not that you would!" she added quickly. "I'm just saying, don't think negatively on her, she doesn't even know what was said." she said, trying to sort the many rushing thoughts that were going through her head.
'Anyways, I just wanted to apologize but I'll leave you to your flying now." she said, smiling feebily and turning and headed back across the pitch. |
