Amber looked up and saw a strange group of people enter the hall. Some were pale, with strangely statue-like figures and some were bulky and tan and were... sniffing the air? She turned to Gemma and Carmen and asked, "Who do you think they are? I mean, LOOK at them! Their sniffing the air! What is up with that? Except, one of them is pretty cute..." She motioned to one of the paler, more statue-like ones sitting close to her. Hopefully he wouldn't hear her.

Carmen laughed. "Well, why don't we go over and introduce ourselves?" she asked, making a motion to stand up. "Its the only way we're going to learn anything," she added. She wasn't sure which one of the two groups they should go to first, but somehow they would figure it out.

Carmen smiled at Amber and nodded in agreement. "Come on, let's go meet them," she said, standing up and nodding over to the group of vampires. "Couldn't hurt to show a little hospitality."

With a soft sigh, Lucien looked at Lissa and Connor. "Behave." He said gently - it wasn't like they wouldn't be able to hear him after all. He looked around as everyone continued to stare. "We are only here for over the Christmas period to proove that we have the ability to be hospitable." Raising his eyebrow gently, he looked between the other three members of his pack and nodded. "Now, lets give Hogwarts a chance, shall we?" He asked, sending Connor and Lissa a soft(er) smile. However, although he looked relaxed he was still uneasy about the fact he couldn't see everybody in the hall.

Issac saw some school mates of his Carmen,i guesshe thought were getting up for some reason.
maybe for some hospitality he thought. Issac was done with his food and sat still looking around and observing his school mates as to how they were all reacting to the new school entrants. he observed the white,pale clan carefully

"Well, when you put it that way... yeah, I'll do it. Let's go! C'mon Gemma!" Amber stood up and looked towards the group of new students excitedly. Something was different about them, she knew this for a fact. She knew this because something wasn't letting her read their minds properly. She couldn't figure out anything about them, apart from their names. Well, she'd have to find out the old-fashioned way. Asking them. She looked back at Gemma and said, "C'mon! I wanna meet them! Especially that one." She pointed towards a pale looking boy who's name she figured out to be Connor. "Don't you want to meet them too?" She used her acting skills and made her best puppy-dog eyes. Classic.

Gemma nodded her head, pushing her untouched plate of spagetti away from her. She stood up, fixing her hair a little. "Kay, let's go." She said. So they were going to the vampires first then? Gemma looked over at the pale creatures. They didn't look that bad in her opinion, she looked over to the other group. "Well let's go." She said as she started to walk over to the vampire group.

"I hate being different," she told him. "We've been alive more than some of the teachers. It's too odd," she looked to see groups approaching. Groups of students. Regular kids. "Like I don't behave enough," she replied to Luke. "It's Connor here you should be worried about," she gave him a soft smiled.

Amber nodded and followed Gemma to the group of vampires, (so she thought) fixing her hair quickly. When they arrived at their table, she smiled her best smile and said, "Hi! My name's Amber. What are your names?" This was so exciting! She remembered when she was new here, and she had loved it when people finally started talking to her. Maybe these kids felt the same way.

Carmen felt eyes on her and she turned. Seeing Issac she smiled and waved to him. If he were close enough, she would have invited him to come, but he was probably caught up in whatever he was doing anyway.

Carmen laughed and moved to allow her friend to stand up. "Well, I'm glad someone likes my idea," she said with a broad smile. "Come on, Gemma!" she said, knowing her friend wouldn't pass this up.

Carmen quickly caught up with her friend and walked with her, side by side, until they reached the group. When they were in front of the group, she took a single step forward. "Hello there," she said with a kind smile. "I'm Carmen, and these are my friends Gemma and Amber," she said, indicating each one. "We just wanted to welcome you to Hogwarts, and offer our knowledge if you had any questions," Carmen continued, offering a warm smile.

Lissa gave a grin to the girls. "Nice to meet you," she greeted. "I'm Lissa or Aly. These her are Luke, Connor, and Eve or Evelyn," she said pointing to each of her friends. "Thanks for the offer on helping us around. We may need it," Lissa stated, eying each of her friends.

Gemma stood beside her friends, smiling at the new arrivals. "I'm Gemma." She said. As one of the girls introduced everyone at the table, Gemma smiled kindly at each of them. They seemed nice, not mean and angry like she had kinda of acpected them to be like. "Calm down Amber." She said, noticing the girls excitment.

"I don't see why they are acting so resentful, they just got here." snarled Zac. "Hopefully the headmaster say something."

Amber smiled even wider when the toothpick looking girl spoke. She was so glad that she was getting to know these kids. They seemed so interesting. And now that she was closer to them, she could read their minds better. Then looked at Gemma, she tried to loosen up her smile. "I'm trying, it's very hard. You know how hyper I can get!" She whispered, still smiling.

Alex saw some of the Hogwarts students talking to the new incoming ones. It seemed like a good idea, but he didn't know if he should go talk to them.

Issac saw Carmen wave to him,he gave a curt nod.he knew almost everyone and everyone almost knew him.the quite,serious,loner and they also knew he like it that way.he saw the group proceed the way of the pale looking clan.he obviously couldnt here as to what Carmen was saying because of the clatter so he just continued to observe the clan carefully and not actually staring at them as if they would feel they are some animals from a zoo


Issac turned to Zac and then spoke slowly
why wouldnt they be resentful.people out here are looking at them as if they were a peice of beautiful furniture or some kind of animals from zoo he said and looked away from the group not looking at them anymore

Lissa eyed the girl and stared at her. She knew how to read minds... Lissa knew it. She had been alive for the past 100 years. The look was familiar.

Amber's smile faded for a second, but then it was plastered back on. One of the kids knew her secret. That she could read minds. And they said they had been alive..... for the past 100 years? Okay, now this was getting weird. Was that true? Or were these kids just strange? Amber eyed the girl named Lissa suspiciously, she might have to look into her more.

OOC: Sorry! I was suspecting since you were a werewolf that you would be bulky! Sorry, I'll edit it out! Man I am seriously having WAY to many blonde moments this week!

Carmen nodded to each one that Lissa introduced. "Pleasure to meet you," she said, once Lissa was done. "Its a bit confusing, but I'm sure you will all get it soon enough," she said with a smile. "If you don't mind me asking, what brought you to Hogwarts?"

OOC: Lissa is a vampire btw! No problem though.

The girl cleared her mind and concentrated. Can you here me? she asked. Of course Amber was going to reply. But her confirmation would be correct then. "We were invited actually," the small dark haired girl with vibrant blue eyes replied. "By your headmaster."

Amber's eyes went wide as her mind became silent. The only words she could here were, "Can you hear me?" She tried hard not to respond, but it was hard to.

"I guess so" sighed Zac. "But they are rather odd wouldn't you say? I mean I have never seen any of them before, have you?" asked Zac taking a sip of pumpkin juice.

Issac nodded.They were pretty odd indeed.Their appearance was something but their behavior too was different.he had earlier seen the girl who is talking to Amber staring at the table with out blinking.she too had the same kind of pale skin and too perfect features for a normal witch.he sneaked a glance at her.there was something different about her this time it looked as if she was thinking,no communicating in her mind.
yes the expression looked like that one.weird.
but Issac didn get too nosy,they were different alright but what's the big deal he thought and took a sip of pumpkin juice in front of him and waited for the headmaster to speak

Zac took a quick look around the Great Hall, and glanced at the newcomers. They all were rather still for a group of kids, if he looked close enough they hardly even blinked. They all just sat there like a stone as if waiting for something amazing to happen. It was weird to say the least.

Alex decided to go up there. He went over to a girl who seemed to be sniffing the air. "Uh...hi there." He said smiling.

Faith smiled at him kindly. "Hi." She said, realizing that she had been sniffing for too long."I just smelled the food. It smells really good." She said honestly. The scent of the wizard, which whom she still didnt know belonged to, was very strong to her, almost like a drug that you cant having.
