Lissa bit down on her lip. "He um...doesn't think you think him. Which I can understand and I think he doesn't like when I read his mind either," she added with a guilty grin. "But it's just so hard!" she complained. "I mean, I have the power and want to use it," Lissa stated obviously. "And how many guys have I met that haven't fallen for me?" she questioned. And then she quickly added, "Mortal of course." Luke sure hadn't. Which didn't bother her anyway. He was too old.

Alex roamed around a bit but stayed in the same general area for when Amber returned. He saw her coming down the steps and he smiled. "You're an angel." He said accepting a couple pieces of candy. He opened the wrapping and popped the fun colored candy in his mouth. "Mmmm Strawberry." He chuckled.

Amber acted all touched and said, "Aww! You're so sweet!" She handed him a little more than half of the candy pile she had brought. She laughed. "Yeah, strawberry's one of my favorites." She popped a blue taffy into her mouth as her whole face turned blue. "Whoops! I forgot, these are Rainbow taffy's! They make your entire body turn the color that you eat! I always eat them at Quidditch matches. At least it tastes good!" She smiled as she watched her hands turn blue, chewing of the taffy happily. "So, what's your favorite type of candy Alex?" She turned to him while popping a cherry taffy in her mouth. Now she was a dark magenta color.

"That's really cool...." Alex said watching her turning different colors. He'd never seen that before. "My favorite candy?" He thought long and hard about that. Finally coming to the conclusion of, "I think they're called ToungeTazers. The candy that shocks literally shocks your mouth with a flavor."

"Guess I'll have to check it out," he said. "But which common room are you staying in?" Jack slightly smirked and chuckled. He sat up on the table and looked around. Few were still staring and whispering amoung each other. Only making Jack more irriatable. Sigh. "Vampire or Werewolf? Hmm. I am a Werewolf, hun," his smirk grew and he chuckled.

Issac had no idea when he slept of the couch in the Slytherin common room.he heard sound of distant footsteps and murmurings.he woke up and saw students coming down through the dungeon door.the feast was over.Issac got up and rubbed his eyes.he looked around to see the kids walking in laughing and giggling and playing with each other.
by tomorrow morning almost every common room will be empty.the students will leave for the vacation he thought.
the headmaster must have told about the new students he thought.

where's Zac he will know what happened? Issac got up and walked to the window of the common room and saw clear starry moonless sky.a soft chilled winter breeze blew through the window and he shivered slightly.he dug his hands deeper in his pockets.
no forget it.i have a hunch it is about the new kids.obvious it has to be,they are different from our lot.i will wait till Lissa tells me who they are
Lissa he thought.he shook his head.the evening's scene unfolded in front of his memory.he wont think about it again.
i will not talk about this evening thing again in front of her.we can be good friends.
if she stops bossing around me he thought again as an after thought.
he walked away from the window and climbed the steps leading to the boys dorm.he got changed and got into his bed and fell asleep again

Connor gave her a questioning look and smiled, "A bit full of our self aren't we," he said, "but you do have a point about that I haven't met any mortal boy that hasn't fallen for you, but I thin k using your beauty against the poor boy isn't fair to him." Connor looked at Lissa Of course he thought I use my looks to get girls to do what ever I want, well not just my looks but my smooth charm as well.

"That's super cool!" She had now eaten a pink one and was chewing on it happily. "What's your favorite color Alex?" Whoa, that was random! But she had wanted to know, so she asked.

Lissa rolled her eyes as she got what he said. That's exactly what I do Connor. Your as guilty as me, she thought. "Anyway, I also like to use my power of happiness. If I touch someone they'll feel warm and relieved. Opposite with me angry or sad," she explained to him. "And I swear I'm not full of myself. But it's just like, I've had these looks for the past 100 plus years. Same old same old," she Lissa told Connor. "I admit I could be a bit over controlling at times, but I think I do a pretty good job at it most of the time."

"okay, okay," said Connor putting his hands up in mock defeat yet again, "I do the same as you the difference is you care about feeling guilty but I don't mind it all." Connor smiled at his friend as saw that she still looked a bit cold, "Come on," he said, "lets go find out where we are sleeping before you freeze into a pop sickle."

She laughed. "Good idea. To the great hall then I suppose?" she questioned. They started down to the huge room. Portraits hung asleep in their frames. She heard some of them snoring. It sounded fake to her. Some kids stared and back away as they walked to their dorms. "What's their problem? They don't even know," she muttered as the continued walking. Oh no! The headmaster had probably told the remaining students in the great hall what kind of creatures they were. Issac wasn't in there but he was bound to know by a friend later tonight. Her life would be ruined.

"Hm...I uh...I don't know...blue I suppose." Alex chuckled. Why was she asking him random questions about himself? "What about you?" He asked. He figured he may as well shoot back with the same question. Get to know her a little better. For the life of him he couldn't think of her favorite color....maybe they never really discussed it before now.

"This is going to be fun," said Connor, as he started to walk toward some little first years that ran away screaming he chuckled, "I know I shouldn't be laughing at this is really bad but most of these kids will be gone tomorrow so it doesn't matter."

"Right," Lissa chuckled in uncertainty. She frowned and turned away from Connor and gave a soft moan. This was not the way she wanted it. Sure it amused some people, but not her in the least. "Let's head into the great hall," she said to him in front of the big doors. "We should ask the headmaster where we're staying and get Eve. Luke can join us later," Lissa said, walking down to where Eve still stood.

"You know Lissa you can tell me if you don't like the fact that I am scaring people," said Connor completely serious, "it is just I don't like being here and seeing them all knowing they will all get older and age and be able to have someone special whiled I have to stay like this forever and ever and the only person I can have a relationship with is another vampire and there are only so many that don't drink blood." He looked at Lissa hoping she would understand what he was saying.

"No it's not that," she assured him, putting a hand on his arm. "It's just...I don't like feeling like I'm some sort of freak show. Us being completely different beings and them immediately being prejudice. It isn't fair," Lissa complained. "People can judge so quickly at times. And it's like you said, we won't ever grow older. That's one thing that I'm extremely sad about." She turned from him in a sober expression. Then Lissa turned to face him again. "It isn't like we just randomly go around drinking people's blood either," she added.

Diane managed to grab some cookies before they disappeared. She munched on one while getting up and walking out of the great hall. As she was walking she noticed Alex. "oh no" she said and quickly hide her face. She had a major crush on him and she didn't want him to see her blushing. For some reason he did that to her. She munched on her cookie and quickly walked out if the castle to the grounds

Eve finally found Lissa.She could smell her from a mile away.She looked at her for a moment,remember the show she put on in the hall.She sighed and shook her head."There you are.."she said to her and walked over to her.Connor was sat next to her aswell."Good,your both here.."she said,looking at her brother."You vanished after Luke left and well I couldnt find you.."she said,walking over to them and taking a seat.

"Sorry about that," she apologized. "I really just needed to cool off though," Lissa told her. "So do you want to go to the headmaster now and ask him about where we're staying?" she asked her. Lissa was ready to crash. Tomorrow she was definitely going to sleep in

Eve looked at her for a short moment.SHe nodded."Lissa,you need to be careful.."she said looking at her with tense emotions.She looked away."You should not have spoken to Luke like that.."she said to her.She sighed,"But lets go..the Headmaster told everyone about five minutes ago..were all sharing a common room.Both Werewolves and Vampires, girls in one Dorm and the boys in the other.."she muttered.

"Fun," she said sarcastically. "This is going to be great. Let's go up to the Headmaster or has he already told you where we are staying?" she asked her. "And I know I shouldn't have talked to him like that. I've just been so frustrated this evening," Lissa explained to her friend.

Eve nodded."We've been already told,the whole school.."she said,"You missed it because you were out here."she said looking around.She lookd around,as she heard the noise of the loud messy students.She sighed a little."This is going to be a hard time for all of us,we should stick together and .. well get on"she said to her and nodded."Lets go.."she said heading to the Dorm that was located on the ground floor.It had been especially made for there benefit.

"I kind of guessed the Head had mentioned us. The stares Connor and I got in the hall," she shook her head to erase the thought. "I'll follow you since you have some sense of where we're going," Lissa said, taking step beside her. "Come on Connor," she gestured for him to keep up with them. "I'm assuming Luke's still with Brooke?" she asked Eve.

"Wait," said Connor, "I am going to be sharing a dorm with both Luke and the guy wolves, great I am going to get eaten alive." Connor looked in between his two sisters hoping one of them would twll him he was wrong.

Eve nodded."That was all explained."she said nodding softyl."Everyone was shocked of corse,like we knew they would be.They dont understand us so we'll have people talking about us for a while.."she said with a short nod."But we will deal with that,whether we like it or not.It was to be expected when we came to this school."she said.Her body twinged to hear Luke and Brooke in the same sentance."I dont know,I presume so."she said to her.
