Ashley couldn't help it, she burst out laughing at Shane. "You honestly don't think there's anyone in this castle half as good looking as you are... there's heaps. Okay, Oliver's good looking, Steven, and well there's a lot... your not the only one, just the most arrogant one." She said smirking at this, "I mean your okay looking, but I don't hang around you because I'm hoping to have a good snog."

"Those guys?" he asked looking incredulous. "Oh, please, they wish they were as good looking as I am." He ran his hand through his hair and smirked proudly as he began strutting down the hallway. "See? I'm the best."

"There is others, a lot more actually... So what would you say if I don't find you at all attractive and felt sorry for any girl stupid enough for liking you?" She asked him her tone opposite to her question.

"I would say you were lying because you're jealous of all those other girls," said Shane. "So there, ha!"

"Jealous?" She asked skeptically "oh yeah that's right," said Laylee as if she was remembering something. "I have undying love for you and I'm jealous of al those other girls when you never seem to think of me like that." She said sighing as if confessing something huge. She was interested at how he would react... he couldn't be so naive to think she meant it, could he?

"Laylee, I knew it." He said. He took both her hands in his. "See? Was that so hard? If you had done that from the beginning then there wouldn't have been any complications. Now, I say we go find an empty classroom and do some snogging to celebrate!"

"You obviously don't know me Shane, even if I felt anything for you I wouldn't want to just snog and hyave you toss me aside like everyone else. But alas, I don't feel anything." She said but she didn't pull her hands away.

Maddie shrugged. "We can go follow him. He spend too much time alone, " she laughed

Maddie shook her head. "No," she sighed.

"I think you do," said Shane. "Don't go back into that denial stage, you were doing so well too." He sighed dramatically as he let go of her hands. "But that's alright. You'll come around again soon enough." He then smirked and turned around and headed into the Great Hall. "I'm back!" he announced to the few people who were in there. "I know you all missed me terribly, but it's alright. I'm back and I'm here once more."


"Let's go follow him then!" said Raquel. "It's something to do, right?" She quickly stood up and began heading out of the Great Hall just as Shane entered. She completely ignored him and turned around to see if Maddie was following.

She watched Shane walk away not really sure what she thought at the moment. "Wait Shane." She couldn't help but call, she followed him into the great hall hoping he didn't think anything of her calling him.

"Huh?" Shane turned around as he heard Laylee calling his name. He smirked. "Oh, I see, come to reconcile with me and just tell the truth? That's a good girl, I knew you couldn't hold out for long. They never do."

Maddie followed her closely. She waved at Shane and put on her coat. "Where to first?" she asked.

Laylee groaned "I just wanted to catch up with you, I didn't want to be ditched and usually I hangout with you because your funny, I'll give you that... Finding and empty classroom to snog in, well for some reason it doesn't jump out at me."

"Well, you know Ollie best," said Raquel. "Where does he normally go if he wants to get out or do something? To the common room? Outside? Though it is rather cold outside. Or maybe he likes the snow?"

"It'll jump at you soon enough," said Shane waving it off. "And I know I'm funny, but I appreciate being acknowledged for that." He grinned.

"Oh, Oliver loves anything to do with outside," Maddie said. "I think, though, he's on his way inside. Want to meet our dear little Ollie halfway?" she asked.

"Can't you not have an ego for five seconds, so... anywere you want to go apart from that empty classroom?" She asked him absentmindedly playing with her dark hair.

"Sounds like a plan to me," grinned Raquel. "Although how would you know he's coming inside? Are you two really that close and connected?" She laughed lightly.
"Five seconds?! Merlin, that's much too long!" said Shane shaking his head. "No can do." He looked back at her curiously. "Well, if you don't want to go to the classroom, where else do you want to do? I find snogging in the classroom is best, but if you have ideas, I'm open."

"Are you going to let me go anywhere without getting your snog first?" She asked sighing, she didn't mean another place to snog just another place to go. His ego is so infuriating!!!

"Nah. I just know him. He's predictable," Maddie said. "He probably got cold or something. That or he's at one of the trees."

"You can go wherever you like," said Shane. "But since I figured you wanted to go somewhere with me, I thought you would like to snog. I mean where have you been all this time we've been talking about it?"

"Well, let's get moving then," said Raquel. She walked into the Entrance Hall and headed towards the doors that led out of the castle. "We can check outside just to make sure," she suggested.

"So because I'm a girl and your a boy we can't be around each other without it meaning I want a snog, that's not all life is about y'know. There's a lot more to it, but I'll rephrase me question, are you going to let me go anywhere without having a snog if I'm with you?"

"Sounds good," Maddie said. "I've been wrong, though. Lots of times. But when Ollie says 'walk' he means outside." she grinned.

"Well, I suppose," he sighed. "If you really want to go about it that way. Just remember, if you ever feel the need to snog though, you are always welcome to ask. Don't be shy."

"Alright, let's go," said Raquel and so she headed outside. It was quite a cold and windy day, though not surprising for Hogwarts at this time of year. She wrapped her scarf more tightly around her and looked around for Oliver. "See him?"

"Yeah, well I don't think I'd ever be snogging you unless you made me... as your bigger than me and probably stronger, I can't imagine any other way... unless there was a miracle of course." She thought for a moment "is there anywhere you can think of that you'd like to go?"

"No, not really," said Shane. "I don't like spending much time in the library, so that's out of the question. It's much too cold outside for me at the moment. Common room is rather boring. Oh, you want to go to the kitchens? That's always fun." He grinned.
