Jacob glanced at Rolice. "No..I don't think so," he whispered, looking at the sand. "They would've phased, and I would have heard them. So would Leah." He sighed. They truly wouldn't go fighting without him, would they?

"You don't think..." Edward said. He seriously didn't think someone would do that. The Quileutes signed a treaty, saying they wouldn't attack them. They wouldn't...would they? Of course, they technically broke the treaty, with Bella being a vampire now. But Jacob said he wouldn't let anything happen to her, to Bella, no matter what she was. Of course, Jacob was a dog, maybe he changed his mind. "I don't know...the Quileutes sign a treaty with us years back. They can't do anything to us."

Nearing the place where she knew Jacob was, she slowly walked closer towards him. She could feel the awkwardness in the air, even though they hadn't even looked at each other yet. Eyes roving, she noticed the wolf from last night accompanying him. What was her name? She thought to herself, trying to remember the parts where she wasn't unconcious. Rolice. That's right. She said, having it pop up in her head.

"Hey." She said quietly, knowing that they would have already known she had arrived.

Leah nodded slightly, not daring to look at Jacob right now. Why couldn't she talk around him right now? Something was not right. I wonder how Jacob feels about this right now. Having to worry about whatever is going on between us and having to deal with this weird wizarding world. She thought to herself and chanced a quick look at him out of the corner of her eyes.

She had noticed the change in him over the past year or so. How he had gotten more mature. How he fitted in his role better. How he had gotten better looking. Ugh. This is JACOB! Leah said to herself, tearing her eyes away from him. But, this is a different Jacob then when I first joined the pack. And now he's actually pretty decent and likeable.

ooc: Sorry for not replying. I have a school thing where I stay at a college all week, all month and I can't get to a computer until I come home on weekends. SORRY!

Jacob glanced at Leah, and at Rolice. Walking up to Sam and Emily's house, he knocked on the door, bouncing up and down nervously.

He couldn't like Leah. No, no, not after all those years of endless torture. Not after her complaining about Bella. Not after what she had done to Sam, or the others in the pack. He was so confused it wasn't funny.

"SAM!" he said, beating on the door. "EM! OPEN THE DOOR!"

Edward nodded. "True," he said, and then became quiet so that the others could answer, his hand still firmly on Bella's and gripping it tightly.

Watching Jacob call for Sam and Emily, she really hoped that they were there. And that the rest of the pack would join them soon. It really was awkward with just her and Jacob and Rolice. Leah looked the stranger over. She seemed no different but Leah was still confused about this magical world that she had talked about earlier. How could they affect it?
