Ron studied Cassie for a second, he was still angry but he needed help. "I can't tell you, but please. I need to know, this is killing me." I can't tell her the truth anyways. How would she react if she knew I couldn't decide between two girls? She'd think I was aome kind of player. He watched for her response.

Cassie nodded her head seriously. "Look Ron. I'm sorry, but you stink at this stuff. I've seen the way your reacted towards girls you liked in the past. First tell me who it is, and I'll help you. I don't care if you like a Slytherin, a Ravenclaw, a Hufflepuff, a Gryffindor or whatever! Don't care if you're stuck between girls! Don't care if she's mean! If you're coming to me for help on how to ask her out, you'll have to tell me who it is, and I can help you. That's really the only way I can," she said, a bit disappointed that Ron didn't want to tell her who the mystery girl was.

Harry half-listened as he scanned the room, seeing who he knew. He saw Ron talking to Cassie, though he seemed more to be pleading, and he noticed a brother and sister that had been in Gryffindor with some girl who had been in Slytherin. He looked back to Hermione and Draco, waiting for an answer.

Ron sighed loudly, "Alright there are two girls," he began but was now stuck again. Why is this so hard?! Just tell her she's one of them! But he couldn't so he just stood there and gave a sheepish grin, "Did I mention they were pretty?"

Draco laughed at the way Hermione was acting towards music and dancing. He nodded his head and said, "Yes. We'll have music. For a very long time too... so I hope you don't get tired!"

Cassie nodded her head, smiling now that they were going somewhere. "Wow Ron. You're stuck between two girls? Don't worry. It happens. Just the tough part is to choose one," she said, then paused, waiting for Ron to continue."No, you didn't tell me. Well, good for you Ron! Now, just tell me who these mystery girls are and I can charm your way into their lives," she said, putting one hand in the air and the other, a little ways from her side. Cassie smiled and looked at Ron for an answer.

"Oh don't worry I don't think I'm the one who's going to be tired." she snapped back with the same grin but a challenging tone.

"Okay well," he sighed again and decided he couldn't say the names yet so he explained, "Well one of them I've known for a really long time and the other not as long but also very well. I don't know if either of them really like me back and I don't like one better. You see, they're both so different but so wonderful..." he said stopping himself from rambling although he could tell it was too late.

Harry felt a tad uncomfortable next to Hermione and Draco. "If you excuse me I'm just going to..." Harry trailed off, not finishing his sentence, mostly because he didn't know what he was going to do, just so long as he could get away. He wandered around a little bit, not sure of where to go or who to go to.

Ron shook his head, puzzled, "I don't know" he shrugged and continued, "All part of the problem I guess. It's just they're so different that I can't compare them."

Zofia scanned the room, her gray eyes landing on Draco. "There's the host," she whispered to her brother, nodding her head in his direction. "I sure hope he's changed. He looks like he has. He used to walked around with that smirk on his face in the halls of Hogwarts, remember? He seems much more calm now," she pointed out. She ran her hand through her long hair; a habit she had picked up from their mother while she was thinking.

Nikolai nodded. "You're right," he said in hushed tones. "They've got a nice place," he noticed, midnight blue eyes wandering around the ballroom. "I never knew someone actually had a ballroom in their house. It's so...cool," he chuckled. To tell the truth, Nik really wanted to dance. He always liked the balls at Hogwarts and hoped this would be much like that, but in very different ways.

"Okay", Ron began, getting his thoughts together, "Well person A is smart and nice and a really nice person, but she sort of seems different now." he stopped and thought again.
"Person B is really fun to talk to and I always have a good time with her, but, I don't know if I'm seeing the real her." Ron's face was regaining it's redness as he explained his situation. He never was good at this emotion stuff.

Ron thought about it. The answer was quite obvious, "Well Person B does more then Person A, although that hasn't really affected me and them much." he replied then admitted, "Okay well maybe a little a little."

Cassie nodded her head and smiled. "Well, maybe person B's more right for you. Why don't you try out person B and if it doesn't work out and you still like A, go after her. Just... not too soon after the rejection/breakup, otherwise..." she gave a short laugh. "That can't be good. The real way is to pick someone that is like you more or you feel more comfortable around with, but leaves you holding your breath whenever you talk to her, or makes you want to see her face or hair every minute of the day. So... are you ready to tell me who these mystery girls are?"

Charlie followed Nikolai and Zofia's gaze towards Draco and she smiled. There was the boy she had dreamed so many nights of, whom she had spent so many times with him and his family except he wasn't such a boy any more, more of a man. A much different man. She then turned around to hear the sound of music floating into the air. It sounded lovely, she really would fancy a dance, but she was shy and didn't even know if she remembered how.

The music finally began to play, it was an answer to Hermione's prayers, although it was a slow song. She looked at Harry and remembered his not so wonderful dancing from the Yule Ball. Ron was busy talking to Cassie. She turned to Draco, Oh what the heck! "Wanna dance?"

Ron looked helpless, "Say something, please? Anything." the silence was killing him although the music seemed to sooth him slightly, but not enough.

Cassie was taken by surprise. She was the one that Ron had feelings for. She had a crush on him back in school but she didn't know how she felt now. "Um... wow," she said, biting her lip again.

Draco shrugged and smiled. "Sure, why not!" he said, and led her towards the dance floor and they began to dance.

Cassie sighed and nodded her head. "It's just. Ron, I've liked you back in our 6th and 7th year, but it seemed to be obvious that you liked Hermione. And, it kinda made me feel bad and I really don't know how I feel now, so... just give me some time to come up with a decision," she said, softly, brushing her hair from her eyes.

Ron was thrilled. Not only was that not a no, but she used to like him! He couldn't help but give her a crooked smile, "Sure, take all the time you need." he said elatedly.
