Draco nodded his head nicely and offered a smile to Hermione. "Hermione," he said and then added "Ron."

"Ron!" Cassie said smiling. "Hi!" she said, going over to him and giving him a hug.

Zofia rolled her eyes as her brother kissed Charlie's hand. True, he was a gentleman, but he was also one of the only males in the room. She shook her head then returned her attention back to Charlie. "We're doing pretty good. We have jobs. That's about it," she chuckled. "What do you do for a living?" she wondered. She had lost track of everyone's occupations after they left Hogwarts. She wondered if everyone had decided to become what they had said. "I myself am a Healer. Just like I wanted," she said proudly. It had been her dream to become a Healer since she had been just a little girl in Poland.

Nikolai noticed the affect he had on Charlie when he kissed her hand. He smiled warmly at her, that's just how he was. He nodded along with his sister's comment, noting that she was dead on. "Yeah, we've got an apartment together, right across the hall from our other siblings. Except for the younger ones who are still in Hogwarts of course," he informed her. "It's a nice life." He ran his hand through his blonde hair, his midnight blue eyes flashing in the candlelight. "And I'm an Auror, along with my older brothers," he too said proudly.

Ron merely looked in Draco direction to acknowledge his presence. He then turned back to the girls, "Cassie!" he replied after they pulled back, "Hermione!," he gave her a quick hug, "How have you two been?"

Hermione gave Ron a hug and explained she was fine then turned back to Draco. "So, you have a very nice house here." she said returning the smile politely.

Parker was most definitely late and she couldn't help but feel absolutely embarrassed. She knocked loudly on the door, hoping someone who hear it. 'I will just apologize for my tardiness.' she thought quickly.

Harry decided to go over to say hello to Hermione. "Hey!" He said. Oh man, it had been a while since he had seen her. Harry gave her a hug, then let go and smiled. "Man, how have you been?" he asked incredulously.

Charlie smiled, "I'm an actress, actually, in London." She loved her job, it was something she never quite got bored of no matter how many times she did a show. "I love it, I couldn't ask for a better job." A better life? Maybe... but not a better job. She caught Zofia rolling her eyes, but only smiled in return. Charlie only hoped that Zofia was rolling her eyes at her brother, and not at Charlie.

Zofia smiled widely. "An actress? Really? That's wonderful! Congratulations! That must be a fun job," she said with a nod. She remembered when she was a girl that she had wanted to become an actress, but changed her mind when her grandparents died of a mysterious illness. "Well, that's wonderful for you," she said with a smile. Hearing another knock on the door, she turned her head. "More guests." She could feel the room exhaling slightly and was quite glad of it.

Nikolai winked at Charlie, signaling that Zofia really was rolling her eyes at him. They both sort of did that quite often to eachother, but lovingly of course. "Would we have seen you in anything?" he wondered, after Zofia's praise. He doubted it, only because the two resided in Poland, but it wasn't crazy to imagine. He too looked to the door when another knock was heard. "I wonder when people are gonna break out the dance moves," he chuckled.

Charlie smiled at Nikolai. "Yeah, I love it. I do some stuff in London, various shows. Mostly ensembles though, so you probably wouldn't recognize me..." It was true, Charlie was generally an ensemble member, so most people wouldn't really recognize her. Plus, she hadn't been in any show too long, always going to new auditions, trying to get a better part.

Nikolai nodded as he listened to her. "We probably haven't seen you in anything then. We hardly ever see anything. We do travel, but only because we have to," he chuckled. "Both of us really don't have lives. Our jobs are so demanding," he explained. He was extremely correct though. Seeing as he was an auror, he had to travel all over the place. But he hardly ever got to see any shows or anything.

Zofia listened to the two talk, noting that Charlie was paying quite a lot of attention to her brother. She smiled, thinking that he must love this conversation. She leaned against the wall, not wanting to interupt. She would have gone to speak with someone else, but the tension was still quite high and she was reluctant to leave her brother's side. She glanced at him, catching his eye she winked.

"No problem. This all must be hard for you, after the war and all." Hermione was wondering if anyone else had been affected as much as she had with all the pain and death.

Hermione was pulled out of thought when she heard Harry's voice. "Hello Haary." she said happy to see him, "I've been okay. The time to myself really helped." she said knowing that he knew about her problems with coping with the war.

"That's good." They didn't talk about the war. He didn't want to go into it. It still traumatized him. Of course, he was dealing with it, like everyone else, but sometimes he couldn't help but be depressed just from flicker of thought. Of course, randomly being 'congratulated' on the street always made him feel a pang of depression, but... this was a party. He shook it off, trying not to think of it.

Charlie nodded, "Understandable." she said. Zofia and Nikolai's jobs were very demanding. "Where do you work out of? London or Poland?" she asked. She knew they were from Poland, but she wasn't sure if they had moved back there, or they continued to live in London after school. Of course, Poland was a long way to travel just for a ball, so perhaps they did live in England now.

"We actually work out of London. We live in Poland, but we just aparate to the ministry, or for me, St. Mungo's," Zofia explained. She was so thankful that they could aparate or else they would have to work out of Poland. There was no way that Zofia would be willing to move her homeland. She knew Nik was probably the same way as well.

"Yeah, we do have a far commute, but at least we know how to aparate," Nikolai chuckled. Very much like his sisiter, there was no way he'd leave Poland. The two had it made: a two bedroom apartment across from three of their seven siblings. The other two were still in school.

"What about you? Where do you act? I'm guessing London," Zofia asked. It was nice to talk to Charlie. It just goes to show you that the typical house steriotypes aren't true. She was a Slytherin and a very nice person. Zofia smiled at her brilliant thought.

It was now Nik's turn to lean against the wall. His midnight blue eyes scanned the room for any sign of friends. He hadn't spoken to anyone since Hogwarts, except for a few people who he didn't think would be invited.

Cassie decided to move along so she walked away from Harry and the others. She soon spotted three people that she remembered distinctly but not quite. She walked over to them (Nik, Zofia, Charlie) and extended her hand, "Hi. I'm Cassie. What were your names? I remember you but I just can't come up with names."

Zofia's grey eyes traveled to another young woman who approached their small group and smiled while taking her hand. "Cassie? I think I remember you. I'm Zofia, Zofia Piotrowski," she said, trying to prompt her memory. "What house were you in? I just can't place you." She screwed up her face in thought, running her fingers through her long, brown hair. Wow, I'm usually good at remembering things like this. Just goes to show you how much your job can take over you life, she thought.

"Nikolai Piotrowski, but you can call me Nik," he said, extending his hand after Zofia let go. "I'm Zofia's older brother if you didn't catch that," he chuckled. "Were you in Gryffindor? Me and my sister were, but I can't remember." He let a small laughed escape him. "It's funny that none of us can remember what houses we each were in and we were just at Hogwarts like...two years ago. Well, three for me," he said, stating that he was twenty and not nineteen like most of the people here.

Hermione merely nodded. Their was a sudden urge to let go now. She had been in her tight corner for a long time, she needed to get away at least this night. "So," she said looking around, "Where's the music?"

Ron saw Cassie talking to the twin after he left he came up to her, "Oy," he said almost whispering, "Weren't those Slytherins you were talking to?" he said watching theie retreating backs with a slight grimace.

Cassie turned around to face Ron and elbowed him. She whispered, "They're Gryffindors. I think." She then turned back to the twins, hoping that they didn't hear Ron's accusations/assumptions that they were Slytherins and that they were going to prejudiced.

Ron cocked his head to the side and looked at them "Huh. If you say so. Anyways I wanted to talk to you ask you something." he said his face began to turn a slight pink color. He rubbed his hands together nervously.

Cassie looked confused as she turned back around. She looked over her shoulder and said, "Excuse us for a minute." She walked them over to a corner of the room and smiled as she nodded her head. "So... what is that you want to ask?" she asked.

"Well," he cleared his throat, "there's a girl who I really like. She's nice, and pretty but I have no idea how to ask her out." Ron explained rather quickly, his face growing shades darker by the second.

Cassie bit her lip to keep from laughing. Then she just had to let out a smile. And then a giggle came out. Before she knew out, she was laughing. Once Cassie caught her breath she breathed in and out. "Sorry about that Ronnie. Anyway. First tell me who the girl is and I'll help you from there," she said, still smiling.
